1. Gefahren durch elektrische Spannung

5. Möglicher Datenverlust

6. Reinigung des Gerätes
Schädigende Reinigungsmittel
Kratzer, Farbveränderungen, Feuchteschäden oder Kurzschluss

Installation
1. Plug the power adapter into the Docking & CloneStation and into a household
~230 V EU power outlet.
2. Then plug the USB combo cable into the Docking & CloneStation and into a
suitable USB 3.0 Type-A or Type-C® port on your host computer.
3. Now switch on the Docking & CloneStation using the ON/OFF switch. The power
LED starts to light up.
Usage
SINGLE Mode
• Carefully insert one or two SATA I/II/III drives.
Hint: You can insert one 2.5" or one 3.5" drive in each bay.
• The SATA drive is automatically recognised by the operating system and is ready
for use immediately.
• In SINGLE mode the SATA drives can be used independently of each other.
ATTENTION! As soon as one drive is already installed and a second drive is
added, both drives disconnect briefly and reconnect again.
Make sure that all read and write operations are completed to avoid data loss.
• If the drive is not immediately recognised by the operating system, please check:
if the driver software is installed (USB).
if the SSD is initialised, partitioned and formatted.
Hint: The IB-127CL-U3 is backwards compatible with USB 2.0.
Note that the full USB 3.0 transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s can only be achieved with a
compatible USB 3.0 port on your host computer.

Cloning Mode
• Carefully insert the SATA drives into bay 1 HDD 1 (source) and bay 2 HDD 2 (target).
• The power adapter must still be connected to a standard household ~230 V power socket.
• Switch on the Docking & CloneStation with the ON/OFF switch.
• Hint: You can only activate clone mode without an existing USB connection to the
host computer.
• Insert the SATA drives to bay 1 HDD 1 (source) and bay 2 HDD 2 (target) gently.
ATTENTION! The copying direction is from bay 1 HDD 1 (source) to bay 2 HDD
2 (target)!
Also make sure that the volume capacity of the source drive is equal to or smaller
than that of the target drive! Otherwise the cloning process will fail.
• To start the cloning process, press and hold the clone button for about 5 seconds.
• The front display lights up and shows the cloning process from 1% to 100%.
• When the front display shows 100%, the cloning process is complete.
Hint: The duration of the cloning process depends on the type of drive (HDD/ SSD) and
the according capacities of drives.

Installation
1. Stecken Sie das Steckernetzteil in die Docking & Klonstation sowie in eine
haushaltsübliche ~230 V EU Steckdose.
2. Schließen Sie danach das USB Kombo-Kabel in die Docking & Klonstation und
in einen entsprechenden USB 3.0 Type-A oder Type-C® Anschluss an Ihrem
Hostcomputer.
3. Schalten Sie nun die Docking & Klonstation per ON/OFF Schalter ein. Die Betrieb
LED beginnt zu leuchten.
Anwendung
SINGLE Modus
• Stecken Sie vorsichtig eine oder zwei SATA I/II/III Laufwerke ein.
Hinweis: Sie können jeweils ein 2,5” oder ein 3,5” Laufwerk in jeden Schacht
einstecken.
• Das SATA Laufwerk wird vom Betriebssystem automatisch erkannt und ist sofort
einsatzbereit.
• Im SINGLE Modus können die SATA Laufwerke unabhängig voneinander genutzt
werden.
• ACHTUNG! Sobald bereits ein Laufwerk installiert ist und ein zweites Laufwerk
hinzugefügt wird, melden sich beide Laufwerke kurz ab und melden sich dann
direkt wieder an.
• Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Lese- und Schreibvorgänge abgeschlossen sind, um
Datenverluste zu vermeiden.
• Wenn das Laufwerk nicht sofort vom Betriebssystem erkannt wird, prüfen Sie bitte:
ob die Treibersoftware installiert ist (USB).
ob die SSD initialisiert, partitioniert und formatiert ist.

Hinweis: Das IB-127CL-U3 ist abwärtskompatibel zu USB 2.0.
Beachten Sie, dass die volle USB 3.0 Übertragungsrate von bis zu 5 Gbit/s nur mit einem
kompatiblen USB 3.0 Anschluss an Ihrem Hostcomputer erreicht werden kann.
Klon-Modus
• Trennen Sie die Docking & Klonstation von Ihrem Hostcomputer.
• Der Netzadapter muss weiterhin an eine Steckdose (~230 V) angeschlossen sein.
• Schalten Sie die Docking & Klonstation per ON/OFF Schalter ein.
Hinweis: Sie können den Klon-Modus nur ohne eine bestehende USB Verbindung
zum Hostcomputer aktivieren.
• Setzen Sie die SATA Laufwerke vorsichtig in Schacht 1 HDD 1 (Quelle) und
Schacht 2 HDD 2 (Ziel) ein.
ACHTUNG! Die Kopierrichtung ist von Schacht 1 HDD 1 (Quelle) zu Schacht 2
HDD 2 (Ziel)!
Stellen Sie außerdem sicher, dass die Kapazität des Quelllaufwerks gleich
oder kleiner als das des Ziellaufwerks ist! Andernfalls wird der Klonvorgang
fehlschlagen.
• Um den Klonvorgang zu starten, drücken und halten Sie die Klontaste für
ca. 5 Sekunden.
• Das Display an der Vorderseite leuchtet auf und zeigt den Klonvorgang von
1% bis 100% an.
• Wenn das Display an der Vorderseite 100 % anzeigt, ist der Klonvorgang
abgeschlossen.
Hinweis: Die Dauer des Klonvorgangs hängt von der Art des Laufwerks (HDD/ SSD) und
den entsprechenden Kapazitäten der Laufwerke ab.
