Before Using the Product

Product Overview
DA-LP1101R / DA-LP1101T can be used as Ethernet network device, either PoE repeater or
PoE injector. When connected to DA-LP1101R and DA-LP1101T, supporting LRP(Long Reach
PoE), it features an extended Ethernet and PoE(Power over Ethernet) networking up to 500
meters but not limited to the normal 100 meters.

* When connecting to the device using an adapter instead of PoE, it is normal operation to blink PoE LED.
* Even if PoE LED is on, it may not link if the power is low. For more information, refer to the PoE Output
Capability by Distance section in this manual.

Installation
<In Case of Using Long Reach PoE Function>
1 Connect Video In or Ext port of DirectIP™ NVR and PoE In of DA-LP1101R using a
network cable.
2 Connect LRP Out port of DA-LP1101R and LRP In port of DA-LP1101T using a network
cable.
3 Connect PoE Out port of DA-LP1101T and network port of DirectIP™ Camera using a
network cable.
4 In case NVR has no PoE function or lacks of power, connect the adapter to DA-LP1101R
or DA-LP1101T. (Purchase an adapter separately)
5 When DA-LP1101R and DA-LP1101T turns on, Power LED lights up. Also when the
communication is initiated, L/A LED blinks.

<In Case of Not Using Long Reach PoE Function>
1 Connect Video In or Ext port of DirectIP™ NVR and PoE(LRP) In port of DA-LP1101R or
DA-LP1101T using a network cable.
2 Connect PoE(LRP) OUT port of DA-LP1101R or DA-LP1101T and network port of
DirectIP™ camera using a network cable.
If multiple 1000Mbps levels of the Repeater is needed, you can use multiple DA-LP1101R or DA-
LP1101T. In order not to work LRP function, be careful not to connect LRP In and LRP Out.
3 In case NVR has no PoE function or lacks of power, connect the adapter to DA-LP1101R
or DA-LP1101T. (Purchase an adapter separately)
4 When DA-LP1101R and DA-LP1101T turns on, Power LED lights up. Also when the
communication is initiated, L/A LED blinks.
