7. WARRANTY
IKI‐KiuasLtd.grants itsproductsa warrantyaccordingto thefollowing conditions.Themanufacturerguaranteesthe qualityand
functionalityofitsproductsforthedurationofthewarrantyperiod.ThewarrantyappliestoproductssoldandinusewithintheEU.
Thewarrantyrequiresthatthebuyeroftheproductfollowsthemanufacturer’sinstructionsregardingthepositioningofthestove,
itsinstallation,useandmaintenanceaswellasthoseregardingthequalitiesofthestones.Thewarrantydurationistwo(2)years
fromthedateofpurchase.Forspaandpublicsaunas,thewarrantyperiodisone(1)year,orisdeterminedbasedontherateof
usage.Moreinformationfromthemanufacturer.
Wood‐burningWarrantyissubjecttothefollowing:
1.Incaseofadefectormalfunction,alwayscontactthemanufacturerorsalesagentfirstbeforesearchingforthecauseor
attemptingtorepairit.
2.Theordinaryuse,thestonesmustbeexchangedatleastonceayearduringthewarrantyperiod.
3.Ininstitutionalandprofessionalusethestonesmustberesetthreetimesayearandreplacedatleastonceayear.Proofofthe
operationmustbepresentedatrequest.Proofofpurchase,receptiondocument,orsimilar,actsasguarantee.Ceramicstones
(exceptKERKESstones)areprohibitedandcausethewarrantytocease.
4.Warrantydoesnotcoverdismantlingandreassemblyofbenches,stoveorunloadingandreplacingofstones.
5.Thesparepartwarrantyisvalidforone(1)yearfromthedateofpurchase.Thereplacementpartwillbeshippedfreeofcharge
tothesellerorthebuyerdirectly.Themanufacturerisnotresponsiblefortheremovalandinstallationofthenewpart.Thebroken
part must be shipped back to the manufacturer at request and atthemanufacturer’sexpense.Contactthemanufacturerfor
contractofcarriagenumberbeforereturningthepart.Validguaranteeisthedealership'ssalesreceipt,oracertificateissuedbyan
authorizedinstaller.
6.WarrantyLimitationsofLiability:Theproductownermusttakegoodcareoftheproduct.Onreceivingtheproduct,itmustbe
checkedfordamagesduringtransportationandstorage.Incaseofsuchdamage,immediatelyinformtheselleroftheproductor
the shipping company. The manufacturer is not responsible for any errors, malfunctions, or defects caused by transport or by
improper storage, contrary to the manufacturer's instructions for installation, operation, maintenance, or failure to product
placementinastatewherethecircumstancesdonotmeetthemanufacturer'srecommendations.
7.Errorreporting: Thebuyermustnotify theseller ofanyerrorormalfunctionassoonasithasoccurred,andnolaterthan14
days.Notificationismadetotheselleroftheproduct.Issuescoveredbythewarrantymustbemadeknowntothesellernolater
than14daysfromexpirationofthewarrantyperiod.
8.Themanufacturer’sactionsinawarrantysituation–onthebasisofanappropriateWarrantyStatement,themanufacturerwill
repairorreplacethedefectiveproduct.Repairorreplacementisdoneattheexpenseofthemanufacturer.Themanufactureris
entitledtochoosethemostappropriateoptioninrelationtocostsandtime.Thesparepartwarrantyisdefinedinsection5above.
Replacedsparepartisgivenawarrantyinaccordancewithparagraph 5. The original product warranty remains otherwise
unchanged.Themanufacturerisnotliableforreimbursinganyexpenses,businesslossorotherdirectorindirectharmoccurredto
thebuyerfromdamagesormalfunction.
9.Thepackagingofreturnitemsistheresponsibilityof thesender.Productsmust bepackedcarefully, sothatthey donotget
damagedintransit.Theremustbeatleast5cmcushioningaroundtheproduct.IkikiuasLtdrecommendsthatyoualwaysusethe
originalproductpackaging;whichhasbeenspecificallydesignedtoensuresafedelivery.
10.IkikiuasLtdisnotresponsibleforcarelesslypackeditemsthathavebeendamagedduringtransportation.Costsaccruedfroma
clientsideerrorarepaidbythecustomer.IkikiuasLtdreservestheright torecoverthe costfromthecustomer,ifthecustomer
returnshavebeensubjectto,orbreachthecontract.Customerischargedforprocessingandshipping.
11. Quality guarantee: Ikikiuas Ltd guarantees the stainless‐steel components in private home use for 10 years. During the
warrantyperiodrawmaterialor manufacturingdefectswillbereplacedfreeofcharge.For example,throwingsaltwateronthe
heaterisnotallowed!
12.Thewarrantydoesnotcovernaturalstonecolourvariationsandcharacteristichairlinecracks,thatdonotaffectsafetyanduse.
13.Anyshipping‐relateddamagesmustbeenteredintothetransportdocument,whentheproductisreceived,orwithin7days
ofarrivalofgoodstotherecipient.Transportdamagemustalsobereportedtotheshippingcompany'slastknowncontact.The
damagedpartmustbestoredforlaterinspection.Theshippingcompany’sinsurancecompensatesthenewpartanditsshipment.
