Mains Plug or Direct plug-in adapter is used as disconnect
device and it should remain readily operable during intended
use. In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains
completely, the Mains Plug or Direct plug-in adapter should
be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.

Docking an iPod or iPhone
1. Press the Open button to open
the dock for iPod an iPhone.
2. Connect the iPod or iPhone
to the connector inside the
Dock for iPod and iPhone.
3. Manually close the door for the
dock for iPod and iPhone.
4. When the dock is plugged in,
using AC power, the docked
iPod or iPhone will charge.
Playing a Docked iPod or iPhone
Video Output with a Docked
iPod or iPhone
1. Follow the instructions for
Docking an iPod or iPhone.
2. Press the Source button to
switch to iPod mode.
3. Press the Play/Pause/Mem+
button to begin playing the
docked iPod or iPhone.
Requires a composite video
cable (not included).
1. Follow the instructions for
Docking an iPod or iPhone.
2. Press the Source button to
switch to iPod mode.
3. Connect the Composite Video
Output to a television using a
composite video cable (not included).
4. Adjust the television to the
video setting used when
making the connection.
5. Video played on the docked

IBP591 App
1. Follow the instructions for Docking an
iPod or iPhone.
2. Once the iPod or iPhone is docked a
screen will appear prompting you to
download the IBP591 app from the
App Store.
3. Press Yes to automatically download
the IBP591 app.
1. Go to the App Store on your iPhone or
iPod touch.
2. Search for IBP591.
3. Download the App.
CLOCK
The clock will automatically sync with the
time on the iPod or iPhone, so there’s no
need to set it.
ALARM
Add as many alarms as you like. You can
set them to wake to iPod music, Nature
Sounds, Buzzer, or you can record your own
alarm.
WEATHER
Type in your location and view your current
weather conditions along with the time on
the home page of the app.
PHOTO SLIDE SHOW
Select photos that are already on your iPod
or iPhone and play a slideshow with your
music in the background.
SOURCES
When docked with the App-enhanced
Boombox (IBP591) you can use the Player
feature in the app to select the source for
the Boombox.
iPod: Choose to play music directly from
your iPod or iPhone.
FM Radio: Choose to use your docked
iPod or iPhone to tune the FM radio on
the Boombox.
Line In: Choose to play music from an
audio source connected to the 3.5mm
audio input.

Tuning to a Preset Station
1. Press the Source button to
switch to radio mode.
2. Use the Tune/Skip dial to
adjust the FM radio station.

included) to connect the 3.5mm
Audio Input to an MP3 player.
2. Press the Source button to
switch to Line In mode.
3. Audio played from the connected
MP3 player will now be heard
through the connected boombox.

3. Use the Tune/Skip button
to select a preset.
4. Press the Clk Set/Mem button
to save the current station
to the selected preset.
