GETTING STARTED
Thank you for purchasing the i159. Unpack the unit making sure
all accessories are put aside so they will not get lost.
Power your iPod or iPhone when you’re on
the go
Whether you’re out in your car or out of the country, you can
power your Samsung MP3 player, iPod, iPhone or other device
with these USB adapters. If you feel powerless without your music,
these adapters come to the rescue. The USB car adapter works
with the cigarette lighters of most cars. The USB power adapter
comes with AC plug adapters that help you power-up in many
countries around the world. If your device has a USB connector,
bring it with you whether you’re going across the country or across
the globe.

Note: The i159 delivers power to an attached device only through
the USB connector.
* There are some variations with the output of the cigarette lighter
jack which depend on the make, model and manufacture date of
your car. This voltage range may be covered by 9V – 24V.

Connecting the USB power adapter
The supplied USB power adapter
comes with three different plug
adapters. With these exchangeable
plug adapters, you could charge and
power your MP3 players anywhere.
For use in USA and Japan, it is not
necessary to install the included plug
adapters. Just pull out the built-in parallel
blades from its cradle for immediate use.
OR
For use in other countries, select the correct plug adapter.

Connecting the USB power adapter – Cont.
Install the selected plug adapter on the
USB power adapter as shown right.
Make sure to insert it to the end.
Note: The built-in blades must be
placed in its cradle before inserting the
plug adapter.
Insert one end of the USB cable
(included) to the USB power
adapter and the other end to your
iPod/iPhone.
Insert the USB power adapter into the power supply (AC power
outlet).
Important Notes: To avoid electric shock or injury, do not use this
unit with wet hands. For your safety, this unit is not recommended
for use in wet places or near water.

Connecting the USB car adapter
The supplied USB car adapter features a
stylish blue light along the top rim. This light
lets the user know when the car adapter is
connected and charging.
The USB power output jack
is located on the side of the
car adapter and shown in the image to
the right.
Simply insert
one end of the
USB cable
(included) to the
USB car adapter and the other end
to your iPod or iPhone. Insert the
USB car adapter into the cigarette
lighter in your car.*
The blue light will begin to glow and your iPod or iPhone is now
being powered through the USB car adapter.
*The removable coil plug in the cigarette lighter (typically marked
by an illustration of a cigarette and smoke), must be removed in
order to insert the USB car adapter.

Additional Features with USB Car Adapter
The supplied USB car adapter also features a removable,
replaceable fuse to extend the life of the adapter; and a 90 degree
rotating head to adjust for the best connection to the USB power
output.
