Estemanualtieneporpropósitoayudaraloperarioensucorrectapuestaenfuncionamientoy
explicarlasnormasdeseguridaddelaComunidadEuropeaparaeliminareventualesriesgospor
unusoerróneo.
Estamáquinadebeserutilizadasolopararealizarlasfuncionesparalasquehasidoproyectada.

2.‐PRECAUCIONESGENERALES
Leaatentamenteestelibrodeinstruccionesparaconocermejorlossistemasdeseguridadyel
potencialdelamáquina.
¡¡Atención!! Aleje a los niños de la zona de utilización de la máquina. Coloque la
máquinaenunlugarsegurodespuésdeterminareltrabajo.
LosCompresoresSilenciososSinAceitemarcaIMCOINSAhansidodiseñadosparatrabajarconla
máxima seguridad siempre y cuando se utilicen siguiendo las instrucciones de uso. Lea
atentamenteelcontenidodeestemanualantesdeponerenfuncionamientolamáquina.Unuso
inadecuadopodríacausardañosalaspersonasyalequipo.
Nointenterepararlamáquinaointenteaccederalaspartesinternas.Contactesiempreconun
establecimientoautorizadoIMCOINSA.
Elempresariodebedeconfiarelusodelamáquinasóloapersonasmayoresdeedadenperfectas
condicionesfísicasymentales.Además,debeasegurarsedequedichaspersonasesténinstruidas

Compruebe periódicamente que la máquina no tenga ningún daño. Debe comprobar
detenidamentequelosdispositivosdeseguridadfuncionencorrectamenteyquelamáquinano
presentepiezasdañadas.
Compruebequelaspiezasmóvilesnoesténatascadas,quefuncionancorrectamenteyqueestén
colocadasadecuadamente.
Éstoscompresores,sedebendeponerenmarchasólosiserespetantodaslasnormasdeusoy
lasinstruccionesdeseguridad.
Laspersonasencargadasdetrabajarconestasmáquinasdebenconocertodaslasmedidasde
seguridaddelamisma.
Elusodelamáquinaexponealoperarioaunnivelderuidoinferiora70dB(A),noobstante,los
operariosqueutilicenestamáquinahandeusarmedidasdeprotecciónauditivas.(RealDecreto
286/06 sobre la protección de la salud y la seguridad de los trabajadores contra los riesgos
relacionados a la exposición al ruido y Directiva 2003/10/CE querecogelasmedidasde
protección de los trabajadores contra los riesgos debidos a la exposición al ruido durante el
trabajo).
Lamáquinadebeserutilizadaenunlugarconunaluzapropiada.

3.‐PRESENTACIÓNEIDENTIFICACIÓNDELAMÁQUINA
LosCompresoresdeAireSilenciososySinAceiteIMCOINSA,estánindicadosparafuncionarcon
pistolasdepintar,engrasar,aerógrafos,infladodepequeñosneumáticosyjuguetesdeplástico
(colchonetas, piscinas...), herramienta neumática, etc. Para la mayoría de estas aplicaciones,
normalmenteesnecesariounreguladordelapresión.Además,sehadecomprobarsiemprelas
necesidadesdeairedelosútilesqueseconectan.
Todoslosdatosnecesariosparaidentificarlamáquinasepuedenencontrarenlaplacaplateada
situadaenelcárterdelamáquina.
Enlamismaaparecenanotadoselmodelo,códigoynúmerodeseriedelcompresor.Estosdatos
sehandeconservarparacualquierconsultaosolicituddedocumentaciónyrecambios.










4.‐INSTRUCCIONESOPERATIVASDESEGURIDAD
Ellugardetrabajodebeestarperfectamenteenorden,sinriesgospresentesybieniluminado.
Alejealaspersonasajenasaltrabajoantesdeempezaratrabajar.
Durantelaoperaciónesnecesarioponersegafasdeprotección,guantesdepiel,ropaajustada,
cascoybotasparaprotegerse.
Nousarelcompresorsinoestácorrectamenteconectadoaunatomacontierra,protegidacon
automáticoydelatensiónadecuada.
Estáprohibidoelusodelamáquinaensitiosdondeexistariesgodeexplosiónoconproductos
peligrososcerca.
Noseinclinedemasiadocuandoestétrabajando.Eviteposturasinusuales.Asegúresedequese
encuentradepieymantengaelequilibrioentodomomento.
Tengaencuentalainfluenciadelentorno.Noexpongasusherramientaseléctricasalalluvia.No
utilice herramientas eléctricas en entornos húmedos o mojados. Protéjase siempre de una
posible descarga eléctrica, nunca toque partes con toma a tierra, por ejemplo, tuberías
radiadores,etc...
Nosobrecarguesusherramientas,laherramientaharámejorsutrabajoytrabajarádeunaforma
mássegurasiseutilizadentrodelmargendefuncionamiento(valoresnominalesespecificados).
Utilicesiemprelaherramientaeléctricaconcaracterísticastécnicasapropiadasparaeltrabajoa
realizar.Noutiliceaccesoriosoherramientasdebajapotenciapararealizartrabajosenlosque
senecesitemáspotencia.
No utilice el cable eléctrico de manera inadecuada. No transporte la herramienta eléctrica
tirandodelcableeléctricoynosaqueelenchufedelatomadecorrientetirandodedichocable.
Protejaelcabledelcalor,elaceiteyaristasafiladas.
Realiceinspeccionesperiódicasdelcableeléctricoycompruebequenoestédañado,encasode
estarlo,cámbielo.
Desconectesiemprelaherramientadelenchufedered,sinoestá utilizando la herramienta
eléctricaovaarealizartrabajosdemantenimiento,ajusteolimpieza.
Evitequelaherramientaseenciendademaneranointencionada.Asegúresesiempredequeel
interruptor está en la posición de apagado cuando se enchufe la herramienta eléctrica al
suministroeléctricoprincipal.
Elairegeneradoporelcompresornoesadecuadoparalarespiración,yaquepuedecontener
monóxidodecarbono.
Elcompresorsecalientaduranteelfuncionamiento.Notocarelmotor,eltubodedescarganiel
compresorduranteelfuncionamiento.





5.‐FUNCIONAMIENTO
Paracomprimirelaire,lospistonessedesplazandentrodelcilindro.Cuandobajan,elaireentra
atravésdelaválvuladeadmisiónylaválvuladedescargapermanececerrada.Cuandosubenel
airesecomprimeylaválvuladeadmisiónalestarcerradaobligaalairecomprimidoapasarpor
laválvuladedescargaylaválvuladeretenciónhastaeldepósitodeaire.
Elsuministrodeairenoestarádisponiblehastaquelapresióndeldepósitoseasuperiorala
presiónrequeridadelaherramientaconectada.
Elfiltrodeaspiraciónsehademantenerlimpioylibredeobstrucciones,yaque,encasodeno
estarlo,sepodríaverreducidalacapacidaddegeneracióndeairecomprimidodelcompresor.
5.1.‐Válvuladeseguridaddeldepósitodeaire
Estaválvulaseinstalaenfábricaparaprevenirdañosderivadosdeunmalfuncionamientodel
compresor,eldepósitopodríaromperseoexplotar.
Vienetaradaenorigenynodebesermanipuladabajoningúnconcepto.Sumanipulaciónanulará
automáticamentelagarantía.
Periódicamente,sehacomprobarqueelanillodelaválvuladeseguridadnoestéobstruido.En
casonecesario,sustituirlaválvula.
5.2.‐PresostatooInterruptordepresión
Elpresostatopermiteobtenerunóptimofuncionamientodelcompresor.Puentearlooeliminarlo
puedeprovocarseriosdañospersonalesy/omaterialescomoresultadodeunapresióndeaire
demasiado elevada. Este interruptor puede regularse, no superando nunca los 10 bares de
presión,medianteeltornilloqueseencuentraalretirarlatapadebaquelitadelmismo.
Elpresostato,permiteelfuncionamientoautomáticodelcompresor,parándolocuandollegaala
presiónmáximayvolviendoaponerloenmarchacuandolapresiónllegaalmínimo.
¡¡Atención!! Paraapagarelcompresor,actuarsiempreprimerosobreelinterruptordel
presostato y a continuación desenchufar el cable de alimentación. Si no se apaga desde el
presostato,elmotoreléctricopuedesufrirdañosenlasiguientearrancada.
5.3.‐Depósitodeaire
Nuncasoldar,taladrarnirealizarcambioseneldepósito,yaquepuedeperdersuspropiedades
yresistencia.
En la parte inferior del depósito hay un grifo de purga sobre el que se debe de actuar
periódicamenteparaeliminarlacondensacióndelinterior.
5.4.‐Aceite
Estagamadecompresoresnorequiereelusodeaceite,porloqueseminimizanloscontrolesde
mantenimientoysealargalavidadelcompresor.




6.‐INSTALACIÓNYUBICACIÓN
Colocarelcompresorenunlugarlimpio,secoybienventilado.Elcompresordebeestarsituado
aunadistanciadeentre30y45cmdecualquierobstáculoquepuedainterferirenelflujodeaire
delventilador.
Colocarelcompresorenunasuperficiefirmeynivelada.
Eldiseñodelcompresorincluyeunaaletadedisipacióndecalorquepermitenunenfriamiento
adecuado. Mantener limpias las mismas y otros elementos que puedan acumular polvo y
suciedad.
Uncompresorlimpiotendráunamejorventilaciónyenfriamientoyporlotantounavidaútil
mayor.Nocolocartrapos,papelesuotroselementossobreelcompresor.

7.‐INSTRUCCIONESPARASUUSO
Paralosmodelos04606,04624y04650,accionarelcompresortirandoparaarribadelbotóndel
presostato,paraelmodelo04607accionarelbotónon/offyesperaraquesevayallenandoel
depósito, hasta que alcance por lo menos las 4 atms o la presión mínima de trabajo de la
herramienta que se conecte, en cuyomomentosepuedeempezaratrabajar. Hasta este
momento,tambiénlosgrifosdesalidatendránquepermanecercerrados.
Parapararelcompresor,siempreapagueelcompresoractuandosobreelbotóndelpresostato,
traslocualsepuedeprocederadesenchufardelacorriente.
¡¡Atención!! El uso de cables prolongadores de secciones no adecuadas o
convenientementecolocadospuedeprovocarelmalfuncionamientodelcompresor.
7.1.‐Primerapuestaenmarchaodespuésdeunlargoperiododealmacenamiento
Abrirelgrifodeldepósitoparapermitirqueelairesalgadelmismo.Enchufarelcableeléctrico.
Accionarelcompresortirandoparaarribadelbotóndelpresostato y dejar funcionar el
compresorenvacíoduranteunos20minutos.Acontinuación,cerrarelgrifodesalidayoperar
connormalidad.











8.‐MANTENIMIENTO
¡¡Atención!! Esobligatoriodesconectarelenchufeyvaciarelairedeldepósitoantesde
cualquieroperación.
Limpieymantengaenperfectascondicioneslasherramientas.
Unavezterminadoeltrabajo,limpieconcuidadolosposiblesresiduostantodelcompresorcomo
delfiltroycoloquelamáquinaenunlugarseguro,fueradelalcancedelosniños.
SóloelPersonalTécnicoEspecializadodeberealizarlaseventualesreparaciones.
Unusoincorrecto,recambiosnooriginalesymodificacionesnoautorizadasexcluyenaIMCOINSA
detodaresponsabilidadygarantía.
¡¡Atención!! Para que el nivel de seguridad y de funcionamiento de la máquina se
mantengadurantemuchotiempoesobligatorioqueelDistribuidordondeadquirióelproducto
oelServicioTécnicoIMCOINSAmáscercanolacontrolealmenosunavezalaño.
Todoslosdías,antesdeempezaratrabajar,eloperariodebecontrolar la eficacia de los
dispositivosdecontrolydeseguridad.
Despuésdelasdosprimerashorasdetrabajo,apretarlostornillosdelcabezal.
8.1.‐Diariooantesdecadauso
Drenarlacondensacióndeldepósito.
Comprobarquenohayruidosovibracionesinusuales.
Asegúresedequetodoslostornillosytuercasestánbienapretados.
8.2.‐Semanal
Limpiarelfiltrodeaire:Retirarlatapaysacarelelementofiltranteparalimpiarloconaguay
jabón.Enjuagarloydejarquesesequecompletamenteantesdecolocarlo.Cambiarlosifuera
necesario.
8.3.‐Mensual
Inspeccionar el sistema en busca de fugas aplicando agua jabonosa en las juntas y uniones.
Apretarlospuntosdondeseobservenfugas.

3.‐INTRODUCTIONOFTHEMACHINE
IMCOINSASilentOilfreeCompressors,arespeciallydesignedtoworkwithairsprayguns,grease
guns,paintsprayers,inflatingtiresandplastictoys(inflatablematsorpools)pneumatictools,
etc.anairpressureregulatorisusuallynecessaryformostoftheseapplications.Andalways,
beforeyoustartworkingwiththeconnectedtool,airintakeneedshouldbechecked.
Allneededdatatoidentifythemachineareshowedonthecharacteristicplate,pastedonthe
bodyofthemachine.
Onthatplate,youcanseemaindataofthecompressor:model,codeandserialnumber.Inorder

4.‐SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS.

surethatyouarecorrectlypositionedandthatyoualwayskeepone’sbalance.
Bearinmindtheinfluenceofthesurroundingarea.Donotexposeyourelectricaltoolstothe

5.‐OPERATION
Tocompresstheair,thepistonsmoveupdowninthecylinder.Onthedownstroke,airisdrawn
inthoughthevalveinlet.Thedischargevalveremainsclosed.Ontheupstrokeofthepiston,air
iscompressed.Theinletvalveclosesandcompressedairisforcedoutthroughthedischarge
valve,throughthecheckvalveandintotheairreceiver.
Airsupplyisnotavailableuntilthepressureinthereceiverhasnotraisedthepressurerequired
bytheconnectedtool.
Theairinletfilteropeningsmustbekeptclearofobstructions,whichcouldreduceairdeliveryof
thecompressor.
5.1.‐Tanksafetyvalve
Thisvalveisfactoryinstalledtopreventanydamagesduetoamalfunctionofthecompressor.It
isfactorysetataspecificlimitforyourparticularmodeland adjustment should never be
tamperedbyuser,thiswillautomaticallyvoidwarranty.
Fromtimetotime,checktheringofthesafetyvalveisnotblocked.Changethesafetyvalvein
caseofneed.
5.2.‐Pressureswitch
Theairpressureswitchissetatthefactorytogetthebestperformancefromyourequipment.
Do not ever bypass or remove this switch because this could causeseriousdamagestothe
equipmentand,orpersonalinjuriescouldresultdueanairpressuretoohigh.Thisswitchisable
tobeadjusted,butitisnotallowedtogethigherthan10Bar,thisadjustmentisdonebythe
screwlocatedunderthecoverofthepressureswitchitself.
Thispressureswitchallowsthecompressortorunautomatically,itstopsitwhenmax.pressure
israised,andstartsrunningagainwhenthepressureislow.
Attention!! Wheneveryouwanttoturnthemachineoff,firstpressthepressureswitch
ofandthenunplugtheplugfromthepowersupply.Ifthesestepsarenotfollowed,thepump
couldsufferdamagesthenexttimethecompressorstartsrunning.
5.3.‐Airreceiver
Donoteverweld,perforateormakeanychangestothetank,becauseitcouldloseitsproperties
andresistance.
Underthetank,youwillfindadraindevice.Fromtimetotime,openthisdraintoremovewater
resultfrominsidecondensation.
5.4.‐Oil
Thisrangeofcompressorsdoesnotneedoil,whichminimizemaintenancecontrolsandenlarges
thelifetimeofthecompressor.

6.‐INSTALLATIONANDLOCATION
Locatethecompressorinaclean,dryandwellventilatedarea.Thecompressorshouldbelocated
inadistanceof30‐40cmfromawalloranyotherobstructionthatwouldinterferewiththeair
flowthroughtheintakeairfan.
Placethecompressoronafirmlevelsurface.
Thecompressorisdesignedwithheatdissipationfinsthatallowapropercooling.Keepthefins
andanyotherpartsthatcollectdustordirtclean.
Acleancompressorrunscoolerandprovidesalongerservice.Donotplacerags,papersorany
othermaterialsontopofthecompressor.

7.‐OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
Formodels04606,04624and04650toturnthecompressoron,pullthebottomofthepressure
switchup,formodel04607pushon/offbuttonandwaituntiltheairfillstheairreceiver,until
thepressureofthetankisatleast4atmoritraisesthemin.pressureoftheconnecteddevice,
thenyoucanstartworking.Untilthen,alldraindevicesmustbeclosed.
Tostopthecompressor,pushalwaysthebottomofthepressureswitch,andthendisconnectthe
plugfromthepowersupply.
Attention!! Extension cables with a small section or an improper installation could
causeanincorrectperformanceofthecompressor.
7.1.‐Firststart,orafteralongtimeofstorage
Opentheairoutlet,anddrainalltheairofthetank.Plugthecableintothemainsupply.
Turnthecompressoronbypullingupthebuttonofthepressureswitchandleavethecompressor
runningforatleast20minutes.Thenclosetheairoutletandworknormally.











