Getting Started
1. Power-on
Slide out the battery cover on the back of the unit
Insert two alkaline batteries (AAA size), make sure the batteries are inserted
correctly.
Press and hold the power button to power on the unit.
2. Plug in the Earphone
IMPORTANT: The earphone functions as antenna for radio signal reception.
Please always make sure the earphone is plugged to DAB receiver before
scanning FM and DAB.
WARNING: Damage to hearing can occur with consistent exposure to high
volume when using headphones. Always check the volume level before
inserting headphones into your ears.
3. Radio Scan
Press “Mode” for DAB or FM radio

Press and hold the ▲or ▼to adjust volume up/down
Press the ◀or ▶to adjust radio channel forward/backward.
4. Main Menu
Sleep
Sleep timer 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 min
Switch between DAB/FM modes will not effect the operation of the
sleep mode.
Sleep mode will be set off if turns the unit on/off.

5. DAB scan
Press MODE key and hold to enter DAB menu

6. Station order
Order your station list by multiplex, alphanumeric, active.
7. Factory reses
Clear service database, presets, previously selected services, info display
mode.
8. SW version
Software version of the unit.

Troubleshooting
If you experience problems with this receiver or its installation, in the first
instance please read carefully the relevant sections of this User Manual and this
Troubleshooting section.

NOTE: If this doesn’t work, contact a qualified repair technician, never attempt to
repair the receiver yourself.
Safety instructions
Always read the safety instructions carefully.
Keep this unit away from humidity.
If any of the following situation arises, get the unit checked by a service
technician:
The unit has been exposed to moisture.
The unit has been dropped and damaged.
The unit has obvious signs of breakage.
The unit has not been working well or you cannot get it to work
according to User’s Manual.
Care and Maintenance

To clean the unit, wipe the case with a slightly Lint-free cloth.
Do not use any cleaning fluids containing alcohol, ammonia or abrasives.
Do not spray an aerosol at or near the unit.
Battery Precautions
The batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine and
fire. After used, disposable batteries should be taken to a suitable recycling
center.
Use only the size and types of batteries specified.
When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect
installation of battery may cause damage to the unit.
Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g., alkaline with
carbon-zinc or old batteries with new ones.)
If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries
to prevent damage due to possible battery leakage.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
