INSTALLATION GUIDE
ADAPTOR FOR BTS TO ZIPWAKE AND/OR
HULLS WITH PROTRUDING BOTTOM PLATE

cabling and final mounting!
1. Test to see how the adaptor fits on the transom

5. Mount the Interceptors
NOTE! Use the screws
included in the adaptor kit
T30 (PT 6.0x27)

5 Nm (3.7 Ib-ft)
Max 2 mm (0.08") between parallel planes.

Temporarily fit the interceptor back plate onto the adaptor.
Use straight edges to determine the adaptor position and
mark the top on the transom.

NOTE! Protruding hull:
Cut o the lower edge of the adaptor with
a right-angle grinder if necessary!
NOTE! Remove old sealant/dirt from the
transom ensuring a smooth and clean
surface for adaptor plate to mount to and
to ensure a good seal with o-ring.
NOTE!
Max. 15 mm (0.59")

2. Use the adaptor as a drill template
3. Prepare the transom for optional concealed thru-hull fitting
NOTE! For thru-hull fittings above the waterline go straight to step 4!

3. Tap

the interceptor for concealed thru-hull fitting!
NOTE! For BTS replacement go straight to step 3!

O-ring for extra sealing.
Do not apply sealant.

4. Mount the adaptor
GRP hull:
Drill holes for the adaptors
300 S: x8
450 S: x12
Metal hull:
Prepare for machine screws
as per builder preference
1. Pilot hole
2. Drill
Ø 3 mm (1/8")
Ø 5 mm (3/16")
2Remove the back
plug and cut o
the three small
protrusions
NOTE!
Fill the holes with a suitable
filler and flatten the surface
to ensure a waterproof
installation
!
NOTE! Make sure to align the
top edge of the adaptor with
the mark on the transom!
GRP hull: T30 (ST 6.3x38)
Use the two included screws,
together with the ones that
come with the Zipwake
interceptor
