PLB-400
Pro Photo LED Booth
with Dimmer

Introduction
2
Thank you for choosing Impact.
Impact’s PLB-400 portable LED photo booth is ideal for shooting large products, apparel, and
portraits. It’s designed to provide the exibility photographers need to create professional,
shadowless images. The booth is lined with reective, textured silver fabric for dramatic specular
lighting, and diffusers are included to create a softer lighting environment. The white, black, and
blue vinyl backgrounds are long enough to create a seamless sweep for your subject or model.
Eight 99-LED strips deliver brilliant, daylight-balanced light. They easily attach to the metal frame
with magnets, so they can be placed precisely where they’re needed as either key or accent
lights. The advanced design of the strips encloses the entire xture to protect the LED array
and wiring. With easy-to-assemble lightweight steel rods and a durable shell constructed with
heavy-duty fabric, the booth sets up in minutes and breaks down into a compact carry case for
convenient travel.

Assembly
Attaching the LEDs
The eight LED strips have magnets that allow you to attach them
to any section of the frame.
• Use the LED strips as key lights by attaching them to the
front-top or front-side rods.
• Use the LED strips as accent or back lights by attaching
them to the back-top or back-side rods.
The booth is designed with eight holes that allow you to pass
the power cords through and attach them to the dimmers. Align
the LED strips so the cord is close to one of the holes. 8
To power the LED strips, connect them to the dimmers, and plug
the dimmers into an outlet.
The dimmer knob turns each LED strip on and off, and controls
the brightness.
Large Diffuser
If you want to use lights other than, or in addition to the LED
strips, t the large diffuser over the front of the booth to soften
your lights.
Attach the diffuser with the four touch-fastener tabs located
in the corners of the booth’s front opening.
When using the large diffuser, unzip the side panels to shoot
your subject from an angle. 10
Side Flaps
The side aps can be partially or entirely unzipped for an
unobstructed view or when shooting your subject from a side
angle.
To unzip the side aps and secure them so they’re out of the
way, follow these steps:
1. Unzip one or both side aps.
2. Fold or roll the aps outward so the silver fabric faces out.
3. Use the touch-fastener strips at the top and bottom of the
aps to secure the folded ap and keep it out of the way as
you shoot. 9

Operation
Diffuser Strips
The diffuser strips extend along the entire height or width of
the booth, and they’re designed to diffuse the light from the
LED strips.
Attach the hooks at the ends of the diffuser strip to opposing
rods. 11
Attaching a Background
The included white, black, and blue vinyl backgrounds are long
enough to cover the back and bottom of the booth.
1. Use the hooks to attach the clips along the top rod at the
back of the booth. 12
2. Insert the edge of the background into the clips to hold it in
place. 12
3. Unroll the background along the length of the back and
bottom of the booth, and tuck it into the front background
ap. 13
Note: If you don’t want the background to cover the oor of
the booth, tuck the end of the background into the rear
background ap.
The Apparel Rod
The apparel rod hooks onto the top sides of the frame. Add the
apparel rod to hang clothes from the top of the booth. 14
