Operating your Unit
TEMPERATURE CONTROL
• Your bar fridge has one control for
regulating the temperature. The
temperature control is located on the
right hand side wall of the interior.
→ Setting “Off” Unit Off
→ Setting “Min” Less Cool Temperature
→ Setting “Med” Normal Operation
(adequate for most situations)
→ Setting “Max” Coolest Temperature
• Depending on your room’s ambient
temperature, you may need to adjust
the temperature setting to achieve your
desired temperature.
• The number on the thermostat dial
does not directly represent the
temperature. Instead, the larger the
number is, the lower the fridge interior
temperature will be. Dial position 1-2 will
set your fridge to approximately -12°C,
3-4 will set your fridge to approximately
-15°C, and dial position 5-6 will set it to
approximately -20°C.
Note: If the unit is unplugged, lost power,
or turned off; you must wait 3 to 5 minutes
before restarting the unit.
• If you choose to change the thermostat
setting, adjust thermostat control by one
numerical increment at a time. Allow
several hours for temperature to stabilize
between adjustments.
NOISE FROM YOUR BAR FRIDGE
• You may notice that your bar fridge makes
some unusual noises from time to time.
Most of these are perfectly normal, but
you should be aware of them!
• These noises are caused by the circulation
of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling
system.
→ This is not a fault and will not affect the
performance of your unit and is common
with all modern fridges.
DEFROSTING YOUR BAR FRIDGE
• Defrost the freezing compartment
whenever the layer of frost on the surface
of the evaporator reaches 3 or 4 mm.
Important! Do not use boiling water because
it may damage the plastic parts. In addition,
never use a sharp or metallic instrument
to remove frost as it may damage the
cooling coils and will void the warranty. We
recommend using a plastic scraper.
• When defrosting, remove all food and set
the thermostat at the “OFF” position.
• Put the drip tray under the evaporator to
collect melted water.
• After the frost has melted, discard the
melted water and dry up the interior of
refrigerator.
• The refrigerator can now be restarted
by turning its thermostat to the desired
setting.
Helpful Tip! Defrosting usually takes a few
hours. Leaving the door open will help speed
the process. Also, pouring warm water (not
boiling) on the ice/frost will help speed
melting. If you must use a scraper- please
use caution—it is very easy to damage the
fridge compartment and void your warranty.

Cleaning & Maintenance
By ensuring proper cleaning and
maintenance of your Bar Fridge, you can
ensure that it will have a long and fault free
operation.
CLEANING YOUR BAR FRIDGE
• Warning! To avoid an electric shock,
always unplug your bar fridge before
cleaning.
Ignoring this warning may result in death or
serious injury.
Caution. Before using any cleaning products,
please read and follow the manufacturer’s
instructions and warnings to avoid any
damage to your
Bar Fridge or personal injury.
• Upon installation of your new appliance,
it is recommended that it be cleaned
thoroughly.
• Dust behind the refrigerator and on the
ground should be cleaned regularly to
improve the cooling effect and energy
saving.
• The interior of the refrigerator should be
cleaned regularly to avoid odor.
• Soft towels or sponge dipped in water
and non-corrosive neutral detergents are
suggested for cleaning.
• The fridge should be cleaned with clean
water and a dry cloth. Open the door
for natural drying before the power is
turned on.
POWER FAILURE
• Foods can be preserved for a couple of
hours even in summer in case of power
failure; it is recommended to reduce the
frequency of opening door and do not put
fresh foods into the freezer.
VACATION TIME
• Remove all the food.
• Unplug the bar fridge.
• Clean the bar fridge using the instructions
above.
• Leave the door open slightly to avoid
possible formation of condensation,
mould, or odours.
• Use extreme caution in the case of
children. The unit should not be accessible
to children.
• Short vacations: Leave the bar fridge
operating during vacations of less than
three weeks.
• Long vacations: If the bar fridge will not be
used for several months, remove all food
and unplug the power cord. Clean and dry
the interior thoroughly. To prevent odour
and mould growth, leave the door open
slightly blocking it open if necessary or
have the door removed.
MOVING YOUR BAR FRIDGE
• Remove all the food.
• Securely tape down all loose items inside
your fridge.
• Remove the rollers to prevent damage.
• Tape the doors shut.
• Be sure the fridge stays in the upright
position during transportation. Do not turn
upside, horizontally place or vibrate the
refrigerator, the carrying angle can not be
greater than 45º.
Note. Continuous operation is recommended
when the refrigerator is started.
Please do not move the refrigerator under
normal circumstances so as not to affect the
refrigerator's service life.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE CONT.
ENERGY SAVING TIPS
• The bar fridge should be located in the
coolest area of the room, away from heat
producing appliances or heating ducts,
and out of the direct sunlight.
• Let hot foods cool to room temperature
before placing in the bar fridge.
Overloading the fridge forces the
compressor to run longer.
• Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe
containers dry before placing them in the
bar fridge. This cuts down on frost
build-up inside the fridge/fridge.
• Liners interfere with cold air circulation,
making the fridge less efficient.
• Organize and label food to reduce door
openings and extended searches. Remove
as many items as needed at one time, and
close the door as soon as possible.
SERVICING
• Your bar fridge should only be serviced
by an authorised service agent of the
Residentia Group.
• Under no circumstances should you
attempt to repair or alter the appliance
yourself. Repairs carried out by
inexperienced persons may cause personal
injury or serious malfunction.
OPERATION IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
In the event of an emergency you should:
• Switch off the bar fridge at the thermostat
and then unplug the fridge at the power
outlet.
• Call the Support Team:
— AU: 1300 11 4357
— NZ: 0800 763 448
• Some minor faults can be fixed by
referring to the instructions given in the
