Prima di utilizzare il prodotto è fondamentale leggere attentamente questo manuale
d’istruzioni, per evitare un utilizzo improprio dell’apparecchio. Si consiglia inoltre di
conservare il manuale d’istruzioni per un utilizzo futuro.
IMPORTANTI NORME DI SICUREZZA
• Questo prodotto può essere utilizzato da bambini di età superiore a 8 anni e persone
con ridotte capacità siche, mentali o sensoriali, o privi di esperienza e conoscenza solo
se sotto supervisione o se hanno ricevuto istruzioni riguardanti il l’uso in sicurezza
dell’apparecchiatura e comprendono i rischi associati al suo utilizzo. Le operazioni di pulizia
e manutenzione del prodotto non devono essere effettuati dai bambini a meno che non
abbiano più di 8 anni e siano comunque sotto la supervisione di un adulto.
• Tenere l’apparecchio e il suo cavo fuori dalla portata di bambini di età inferiore agli 8 anni.
• Se il cavo di alimentazione risulta danneggiato, deve essere sostituito dal produttore o dal
suo servizio di assistenza autorizzato o da una persona qualicata per evitare rischi.
• L’apparecchio non è destinato ad essere azionato tramite un timer esterno o un telecomando
separato.
• La temperatura delle superci accessibili può essere elevata quando l’apparecchio
è in funzione

• ATTENZIONE: Le piastre raggiungono temperature elevate una volta azionato il prodotto.
• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, controllare che i dati della tensione di rete riportati
sull’etichetta dati corrispondano a quelli della rete elettrica locale. L’etichetta dati si trova
sull’apparecchio stesso
• Posizionare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana e stabile
• Non lasciate che il cavo penzoli sull’estremità del tavolo o di un lavello.
• Non lasciare che il cavo di alimentazione entri in contatto con superci calde o incandescenti.
• Assicurarsi di preriscaldare la piastra prima di utilizzare la tostiera.
• Scollegare sempre l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica dopo l’uso.
• Non utilizzare oggetti aflati o abrasivi a contatto con le piastre in quanto ciò
danneggerebbe la supercie.
• Pulire sempre l ‘apparecchio dopo l’uso
• Prima di procedere con qualsiasi operazione di pulizia, scollegare l’apparecchio dalla
rete elettrica. Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua. Evitare che l’acqua penetri
nell’apparecchio.
• Questo apparecchio è stato concepito per il solo uso domestico, non utilizzare per scopi
industriali o professionali.
• Assicurarsi che i bambini non giochino con l’apparecchio.

MODO D’USO
Preriscaldamento
Vericare che le piastre di cottura siano pulite e senza tracce di polvere. Se necessario, pulire
con un panno umido.
Al primo utilizzo, si potrebbe notare la fuoriuscita di un sottile lo di fumo. Ciò è dovuto solo
al riscaldamento di alcuni componenti.
Posizionare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana. Aprire le piastre e ungerle leggermente
con burro o olio da cucina;
Chiudere le piastre e collegare il prodotto alla rete elettrica, si accende la spia rossa di
funzionamento. Impostare la manopola di regolazione del termostato alla temperatura
desiderata, si accende la spia verde. La spia verde si accende indicando che l’apparecchio ha
iniziato la fase di preriscaldamento.
Tenere la piastra chiusa durante la fase di preriscaldamento, no allo spegnimento della spia
verde di “Pronto all’uso” (1).
Funzionamento
• Una volta raggiunta la temperatura impostata, posizionare sulla piastra inferiore l’alimento
che si intende cucinare e chiudere le piastre della grigia elettrica.
• La cottura di un toast ad esempio avviene mediamente in 3-8 minuti.
• Quando l’alimento è cotto, utilizzare un utensile non metallico (ad esempio una spatola
di legno) per rimuoverlo dalle piastre. Non utilizzare utensili da cucina taglienti o abrasivi.
•Spegnere e scollegare il prodotto dalla rete elettrica dopo l’uso.
Nota: Durante la cottura, la luce verde che indica quando l’apparecchio è pronto per cuocere,
si accende e si spegne per mantenere l’apparecchio alla temperatura corretta.
UTILIZZO DELLA GRIGLIA APERTA
• Posizionare la griglia elettrica su una supercie piana e stabile.
• Tenendo la maniglia con la mano sinistra, utilizzare la mano destra per far scivolare la leva
laterale verso di sé. Aprire la griglia no a quando la parte superiore non avrà toccato il piano.
Allineare quindi le piastre a formare una più ampia supercie di cottura; è così possibile
posizionare sulle piastre hamburger, bistecche, pollame e verdure.
Far attenzione alla vaschetta raccogli-grasso, fare in modo che il grasso non coli fuori dalla
vaschetta.
Per chiudere le piastre, una volta che si sono raffreddate, riportare la piastra superiore nella
posizione iniziale e chiudere la griglia.
ATTENZIONE: Aprire e chiudere la griglia solo quando le piastre sono fredde, onde evitare
rischi di scottature.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di procedere con qualsiasi operazione di pulizia e manutenzione, scollegare sempre
l’apparecchio dalla rete elettrica e attendere che si raffreddi. La pulizia delle piastre risulta
più facile quando queste sono ancora tiepide. Non è necessario smontare il prodotto per le
operazioni di pulizia. Non immergere mai il prodotto in acqua o altri liquidi.

• Pulire le piastre di cottura con un panno morbido per rimuovere i residui di cibo. Se i residui
di cottura risultano difcili da rimuovere, è possibile intervenire con una spugna imbevuta di
acqua e detersivo.
• Evitare l’utilizzo di utensili metallici taglienti o prodotti abrasivi in quanto potrebbero
danneggiare il rivestimento delle piastre
• Pulire la parte esterna della griglia con un panno morbido inumidito con acqua. Non
immergere il prodotto in acqua o in un altro liquido.
• Non lavare nella lavastoviglie.
• Rimuovere e vuotare il vassoio raccogli-goccia dopo ogni uso e lavare il vassoio con acqua
calda e sapone. Evitare l’uso di pastiglie per la pulizia o detergenti particolarmente aggressivi
perché potrebbero danneggiare la supercie.
Sciacquare e asciugare bene con un panno morbido e pulito.
• Conservare il prodotto in un luogo fresco e asciutto. Il cavo di alimentazione può essere
avvolto attorno al fondo della base.

INFORMAZIONI AGLI UTENTI ai sensi del Decreto Legislativo N° 49 del 14
Marzo 2014 “Attuazione della Direttiva 2012/19/UE sui riuti di apparecchiature
elettriche ed elettroniche (RAEE)”. Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato
sull’apparecchiatura indica che il prodotto alla ne della propria vita utile deve
essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri riuti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura integra dei componenti essenziali giunta
a ne vita agli idonei centri di raccolta differenziata dei riuti elettronici ed elettrotecnici,
oppure riconsegnarla al rivenditore al momento dell’acquisto di nuova apparecchiatura di
tipo equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno, oppure 1 a zero per le apparecchiature aventi
lato maggiore inferiore a 25 CM. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo
dell’apparecchiatura dimessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientale
compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e
favorisce il riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura. Lo smaltimento abusivo
del prodotto da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni amministrative di cui

Before use, read the instruction carefully to avoid improper use of the product and keep
this manual safe for future references.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This product can be used by children older than 8 years old and people with reduced
physical, mental or sensory capacity, or lack of experience and knowledge only if under
supervision or if they received instructions regarding the safe use of the equipment and
understand the risks associated with its use. Cleaning and maintenance operation should
not be done by children unless they are at least 8 years old and are under supervision.
• Keep this product and the power cord out of reach of children younger than 8 years old.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its authorized
service or by a qualied person to avoid any risk.
• The unit is not intended to be operated via an external timer or remote control.
• The product surfaces becomes extremely hot during use.

• WARNING: Plates reach high temperatures once the product is operating.
• Before connecting the unit, make sure that the voltage indicated on the rating label
matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. The rating label is on the
product.

• Make sure to preheat the plate before using the contact grill.

HOW TO USE
Pre-heating
Make sure that the cooking plates are clean and free of dust. If necessary, clean with a damp
cloth. At rst use, you may notice the output of a thin wisp of smoke. This is only due to the
heating of some components. Place the product on a at surface. Open the plates and grease
them lightly with butter or cooking oil.
Close the plates and connect the product to the mains, the red operating light is turned on.
Set the thermostat control knob to the desired temperature, the green light will turn on. The
green light turns on indicating that the appliance has started the preheating phase.
Hold the plate closed during the preheating phase until the green “Ready to use” light (1)
is switched off.
Operation Mode
• Once the set temperature has been reached, place the food on the bottom plate and close
the electric plates.
The cooking of the toast is usually effected within 3-8 minutes.
• Use a non-metallic tool (such as a wooden spatula) to remove the toast from the plates. Do
not use sharp or abrasive kitchen utensils.
• Disconnect the product from the power supply after use.
Note: During cooking, the green light indicating when the appliance is ready to cook will turn
on and off to keep the appliance at the correct temperature.
USE THE PRODUCT WITH OPEN GRILL
• Place the contact grill on a at and stable surface.
• Holding the handle with your left hand, use your right hand to slide the side lever toward
you. Open the grill until the upper part has touched the oor. Then align the plates to form a
larger cooking surface. It is now possible to place hamburger, steaks, poultry and vegetables
on plates.
Pay attention to the drip tray, so that the fat does not get out of the product.
To close the plates, once they have cooled, return the top plate to the initial position and
close the grid.
WARNING: Open and close the grill only when the plates are cold, avoiding any risk of burns.
CLAEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before proceeding with any cleaning and maintenance operation, make sure to disconnect
the product from the mains and let the plates to cool completely down.
Cleaning the plates is easier when they are still lukewarm. It is not necessary to disassemble
the product for cleaning operations. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids.
• Clean the cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove food residue. If cooking residues are
difcult to remove, you can intervene with a sponge soaked in water and detergent.
• Avoid using sharp metal tools or abrasive products as they may damage the coating of the
plates.

• Clean the outside of the appliance with a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not immerse
the product in water or another liquid.
• Do not wash in the dishwasher.
• Remove and empty the drip tray after each use and wash the tray with hot soapy water.
Avoid using cleaning pads or aggressive detergents, as they may damage the surface. Rinse
and dry with a soft, clean cloth.
• Store the product in a cool and dry place. The power cord can be wound around the bottom
of the base.

“ 2012/19/UE Implementation of the Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment (WEEE)“ The crossed-out dustbin symbol indicates that the product at
the end of its life must be collected separately from other waste.
The user should, therefore, take the equipment with the essential components at the end
of its useful life to the separate collection center of electronic and electrical waste, or return
it to the retailer when purchasing new equipment of equivalent type, in ratio of one to
one, or one to zero for devices with larger side less than 25 CM. The separate collection for
the decommissioned equipment for recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible
disposal contributes to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and human health
and promotes recycling of the materials. Improper disposal of the product by the user entails
the application of administrative sanctions according to Legislative Decree No. 49 of 14 March
2014.
