Smart Shin Guard

Player Tracking Modules
USB Cable

1.Connect Player Tracking Modules to a power outlet using the
provided USB cable.
Note: use only with a 5V/1A output power adaptor.
2.The Player Tracking Modules should be fully charged after
about 1.5 hours.
3.We suggest you recharge your Player Tracking Modules at
least once a week.

1.Left: press power button for 3s until you see flickering purple
light.
2.Right: shake a few times until you see flickering purple light.

1.Left: press power button for 3s until the light goes off.
2.Right: will turn off automatically if rest still for 2 minutes.
3.After synchronising data to INSAIT JOY app, you can
also follow the on-screen instructions in the app to turn off
your player tracking modules.
Place on a flat surface
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds

1.Insert left Player Tracking Module to the left Smart Shin
Guard. Make sure the strip on the Player Tracking Module fits
into the slot on the shin guard, and you can see the indicator
light through the small hole on the shin guard surface.
2.Similarly, insert right Player Tracking Module to the right
Smart Shin Guard.

1.Scan the QR code on the package to download INSAIT
JOY app, or search “INSAIT JOY” in App Store (iOS) or
Google Play (Android) to download the INSAIT JOY app.
Minimum OS requirement: iOS 11.0 / Android 6.0
2.Follow the on-screen instructions to sign up or login to
the app.
1.Turn on Player Tracking Modules and insert into the
Smart Shin Guard. The blue lights will flicker twice at a
time, indicating Player Tracking Modules are standby for
use.
2.Put on the Smart Shin Guard. Usually Player Tracking
Modules will start collecting and recording your
movement data automatically after the first 30 steps, and
the blue light will start flickering slowly.
Note:
a.Footsteps required for triggering data collection varies
by individual player, but usually it takes 30 to 40 steps.
We suggest you turn on Player Tracking Modules and put
on the shin guard before the session, then walk or jog for
a while to warm up.
b.Do not connect Player Tracking Modules to your phone
while collecting data.

1.Turn on Bluetooth of your phone. Login to the INSAIT JOY app.
2.Tap “Sync” in the app to stop data collection and start
synchronising data to the app.
Note:
1.If you’re connecting player tracking modules to your phone
for the first time, you are required to pair the player tracking
modules with your account. Please follow the on-screen
instructions in the app. You can also unpair the player tracking
modules with your account from the app.
2.When your session data is synchronised to your phone,
player tracking modules will disconnect automatically and
clear all data stored in the device memory. You can start a new
session now.
3.After synchronising data to INSAIT JOY app, you can also
follow the on-screen instructions in the app to turn off your
player tracking modules.

Team Function
Create a team
1.Go to “Team”, tap “+” then “Create Team” to create a new
team.
2.Tap “More” to switch to another team you created or
joined.

Create a competition
1.As creator of a team, you can create a competition.
2.Tap “Create Competition” and select a team that you
created. Enter competition title and tap “Done” to create a
new competition.

Create an event
1.As creator of a team, you can create an event for a match
or a training session. This will allow you to access a team
report for further analysis.
2.Tap “Create Event” and select date and team for the
event.
3.If the event is part of a competition, you can also select a
competition while creating the event.

Invite players / join a team
1.As creator of a team, you can invite teammates to join the
team by tapping “+” and “Invite Teammates” to copy an
invitation message, then share this invitation message to
your teammates. Alternatively, you can simply share the
invitation code of your team to your teammates.
2.Players can join a team by either:
·Copy an invitation message then open INSAIT JOY app
to join the team; or
·Tap “Join Team” and enter the invitation code.

Pair with multiple smart shin guards
1.As creator of a team, you can pair each player in the team
with a pair of INSAIT JOY smart shin guards. This will allow
you to synchronise data from all paired smart shin guards
in a team event.
2.Select your team and go to Players. Tap “Pair” to pair
each player with smart shin guards.

Sync your team stats
We offer two ways for you to manage team stats synchroni-
sation:
1.A coach-led option:
As creator of the team, you can distribute and sync all
smart shin guards. Turn on Bluetooth of your phone. Make
sure all player tracking modules are on and close to your
phone. Enter an ongoing Event, and tap “Sync Team Data”
to start the process. INSAIT JOY will automatically connect
and sync data from the player tracking modules.
Note:
1.In case some player tracking modules are not synced
successfully, simply keep them turned on and tap “Sync
Team Data” again, INSAIT JOY will automatically search
and connect to those player tracking modules and try to
sync again. Repeat a few times, if necessary, until all
devices are synced.
2.The sync process may take a while if there are many
players in your squad, so it is possible that some R
modules may be turned off automatically after standing still
for a while. Simply wake them up and try again.
3.All synced player tracking modules will be turned off
automatically.

2.A player-led option:
This will allow the players to manage their own smart shin
guards with their own INSAIT JOY accounts. Please ask
your players to sync by themselves and “Submit” their
reports to the Event before end of the Event date.
