Öffnung eng geschlossener Interdental kontakte initial im Rahmen
des IPR-Protokolls in der Kieferorthopädie.
Anwendungshinweise
Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener im Interde n talraum am Anfang des
IPR-Protokolls zur Öffnung enger Kontaktpunkte anwenden.
Die darauf folgende Reduktion des Zahnschmelzes ist mit
Intensiv Ortho-Strips System durchführen.
Bei Zahnengstand: Öffnen des Interden tal raums durch zervikal
gesetzten Holzkeil. Das macht die Reduktion des Zahnschmelzes
in der Kieferorthopädie (Stripping) komfortabler für den
Kieferorthopäden und Patienten.
Winkelstück auf max. 20’000 oszillierende Bewegungen pro
Minute bringen.
Angemessene Wasserspraykühlung (mindestens 50 ml/min.)
sicher stellen.
Wasserspray bei zu hohem oder ungenügendem Wasserstrahl
regulieren.
Einführung des Strips: der Strip wird mit laufendem Winkelstück
zervikal eingeführt. Ein Verkeilen des Instruments wird dadurch
vermieden.
Anpressdruck: den Strip ca. 1-1,5 mm durchbiegen, um den idea-
len Anpress druck von 1-2,5N zu erreichen.
Den Strip im Interdentalraum nicht stoppen.
Den Strip aus dem Interdentalraum entfernen, während das
Winkel stück noch in Funktion ist.
Pflege und Sterilisation
Instrumente nach dem Einsatz reinigen und Rückstände entfer-
nen, um die Schleifleistung zu erhalten.
Die Instrumente werden unsteril geliefert. Vor dem ersten
Einsatz sterilisieren sowie nach jeder Anwendung müssen die
Instrumente desinfiziert, gereinigt und sterilisiert werden.
Nach Möglichkeit einen vor- oder nachevakuierenden Auto -
klaven mit Vakuumtrocknung verwenden. Chemiklaven können
ebenfalls verwendet werden. Heissluft sterilisatoren sind für die
Sterilisation von Diamantinstrumenten nicht geeignet.
Die Sterilisation muss nach einem validierten Verfahren erfolgen.
Risikohinweise
Vermeiden von Biegen und Hebeln: Übermässige Kraft anwen -
dung (grosse Hebelwirkung mit Winkelstück) kann zum Bruch
des Instrumentes führen.
Während der oszillierenden Bewegung das Instrument nicht
blockie ren und hebeln, da dies das Risiko des Instrumenten -
bruchs erhöht.
Wenn die Zahn-Äquatorlinie mit Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener
überschritten wird, höchste Aufmerksamkeit verwenden, damit
das Weichgewebe nicht verletzt wird.
Oszillierende Bewegungen über 20'000 pro Minute könnten
zum Bruch des Instruments führen.
Temperaturen über 180°C vermeiden, um die Dauer des Instru -
ments nicht zu kompromittieren.
Anpressdruck über 3N vermeiden, da dies das Instrument beschä -
digen kann.
Um eine Rückverfolgbarkeit der Instrumente während des gesam-
ten Einsatzes zu gewährleisten, empfehlen wir die Aufbewahrung
der Verpackung.

Sterilizable and reusable
Indication
Opening of tight interdental contact areas at the initial stage of the
orthodontic IPR procedure.
Recommendations for use
Apply Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener in interproximal areas at the
beginning of the IPR orthodontics protocol for the opening of
tight contact points.
Subsequently proceed with the enamel reduction protocol using
Intensiv Ortho-Strips System.
In case of very tight contact points separate the teeth by placing
a wooden wedge cervically.
Set the contra-angle at a value of 20’000 oscillations per minute
max.
Activate water spray during the entire treatment (minimum
50 mL/min).
Regulate water flow in case of water excess or shortage
Insert the strip in a cervical direction while the contra-angle is
moving. This prevents the instrument from jamming.
Operative pressure: bend the strip 1-1.5 mm to achieve the ideal
1-2.5N operating force.
Do not stop the strip in the interdental space
Remove the strip from the interdental space whilst the contra-
angle is moving
Maintenance and sterilization
Clean the instruments and remove debris after each use, so as to
maintain their abrasive properties.
Instruments are delivered non sterile. They must be sterilized
prior to first use and disinfected, cleaned, and sterilized after
each use.
Use a single-pulsed or fractionated vacuum autoclave and sub-
vacuum drying. Chemiclave sterilizers may also be used. Hot air
sterilizers are not suitable for diamond instruments.
Sterilization must be carried out according to validated proce-
dures.
Risk warnings
Avoid bending and levering over the limit: use of excessive force
(strong levering effect with the contra-angle) could lead to the
breakage of the instrument.
Avoid jamming or levering actions when oscillating, as this
increases the risk of instrument breakage.
Having passed over the tooth equator line with Intensiv Ortho-
Strips Opener, pay attention not to injure the soft tissues.
Oscillating over 20’000 oscillations per minute could cause
breakage of the instrument.
Avoid temperatures above 180°C which may affect the durability
of the instrument.
Avoid applying forces greater than 3N as this could cause damage
to the instrument.
To ensure traceability of the instruments during their entire
application, we recommend keeping the packaging.

Description du produit
Strip métallique oscillant denté et diamanté

Indication
Ouverture des contacts interdentaires serrés au début de la procé-
dure IPR en Orthodontie.
Conseils d’utilisation
Appliquer Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener dans la zone interproxi-
male au début de la procédure IPR pour l’ouverture des espaces
serrés en Orthodontie.
Continuer ensuite le processus de réduction de l’émail avec
Intensiv Ortho-Strips System.
En présence d’espaces dentaires étroits: ouverture de l’espace
interproximal en insérant un coin de bois au niveau cervical.
Conduire le contre-angle à 20.000 oscillations/minute max.
Veiller à un refroidissement adapté par l’utilisation d’un spray
d’eau (minimum 50 ml/min.).
Régler en cas de production d’eau trop élevée ou insuffisante.
Introduction du strip: le strip est introduit en direction cervicale
avec le contre-angle en fonction. Un blocage de l’instrument est
ainsi évité.
Force d’application: courber le strip d’environ 1 à 1,5 mm pour
obtenir une la force d’application idéale de 1 à 2,5N.
Ne bloquer pas le strip dans l’espace interdentaire.
Enlever le strip de l’espace interdentaire avec le contre-angle
encore en mouvement.
Maintien et stérilisation
Nettoyer les instruments après chaque utilisation et retirer les
éventuels résidus pour conserver intact leur pouvoir abrasif.
Les instruments se présentent en emballages non stériles. Ils doi-
vent être stérilisés avant leur première utilisation et nettoyés,
désinfectés et stérilisés immédiatement après chacune utilisa-
tion.
Utiliser de préférence les autoclaves à vide à impulsion unique
ou fractionnée et séchage sous vide. On peut utiliser également
des chemiclaves. Les stérilisateurs à air chaud ne conviennent pas
aux instruments diamantés.
La stérilisation doit être réalisée selon des procédures validées.
Avertissements de risque
Eviter les courbures et les leviers: une utilisation excessive de la
force (effet de levier important avec le contre-angle) conduit à
une fracture prématurée.
Des mouvements de balancement ainsi que trop de déviations
latérales et de blocages pendant la rotation augmentent le
risque de fracture des instruments.
Après avoir dépassé l’équateur de la dent avec Intensiv Ortho-
Strips Opener, faire attention à ne pas blesser les tissus mous.
Oscillations supérieures à 20.000 par minute peuvent causer la
rupture de l’instrument.
Les températures supérieures à 180°C doivent être évitées afin
de ne pas compromettre la durée de vie de l’instrument.
Eviter les forces supérieures à 3N car cela risque d'endommager
l’instrument.
Pour assurer la traçabilité de l’instrument durant l’entière appli-
cation nous recommandons d’en garder l’emballage.

Consigli pratici per l’uso
Applicare Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener in zona interprossimale all’inizio della procedura IPR per
l’apertura degli spazi serrati in Ortodonzia.
Successivamente procedere con il protocollo di riduzione dello smalto con Intensiv Ortho-Strips
System.
In caso di sovraffollamento aprire lo spazio interdentale tramite un cuneo di legno nella zona
cervicale.
Portare il contrangolo ad un numero massimo di 20.000 oscillazioni al minuto.
Attivare lo spray ad acqua durante tutta l’applicazione (minimo 50 mL/min).
Regolare il getto d’acqua in caso di produzione troppo elevata o insufficiente.
Introdurre lo strip mentre il contrangolo è in movimento, inserire lo strip in direzione cervicale;
ciò previene un suo eventuale arresto.
Pressione operativa: flettere lo strip di ca. 1-1,5 mm per ottenere la forza operativa ideale di
1-2,5N.
Non arrestare lo strumento nello spazio interdentale.
Estrarre lo strip dallo spazio interdentale con il contrangolo ancora in movimento.
Manutenzione e sterilizzazione
Ripulire gli strumenti dopo l’uso e rimuovere eventuali residui per mantenere intatto il potere
abrasivo degli stessi.
Gli strumenti sono forniti in confezione non sterile. Pima del primo uso sterilizzare, dopo ciascun
utilizzo lo strumento deve essere disinfettato, pulito e sterilizzato.
Utilizzare autoclavi con vuoto singolo o frazionato e con asciugatura sottovuoto. Possono essere
utilizzate anche le chemiclavi. Gli sterilizzatori ad aria calda non sono adatti per strumenti
diamantati.
La sterilizzazione deve avvenire secondo procedure validate.
Avvertenze di rischio
Evitare di flettere e far leva sullo strip oltre il limite. L’uso di eccessiva forza (effetto leva con il
contrangolo) può portare a rotture precoci.
Azioni di leva, eccessivi scarti laterali o bloccaggi durante l’oscillazione aumentano il pericolo di
danneggiare gli strumenti.
Dopo aver superato l’equatore del dente con Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener, prestare attenzione a
non ledere i tessuti molli.
Non superare le 20.000 oscillazioni al minuto per evitare la rottura dello strumento.
Temperature oltre 180°C sono da evitare per non compromettere la durata dello strumento.
Evitare forze superiori a 3N poiché il tal caso si rischia il danneggiamento dello strumento.
Per assicurare la rintracciabilità dello strumento durante l’intera applicazione raccomandiamo di
conservarne l’imballaggio.

Indicación
Apertura de los contactos interdentales serrados al inicio del procedimiento IPR en Ortodoncia.
Indicaciones de uso
Aplicar Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener en la zona interproximal al inicio del procedimiento IPR para
la apertura de los espacios serrados en Ortodoncia.
Sucesivamente continuar con el protocolo de reducción del esmalte con Intensiv Ortho-Strips
System.
Apiñamiento dental: abrir el espacio interdental mediante una cuña de madera colocada en la
zona cervical.
Conducir el contra-ángulo alrededor de 20.000 oscilaciones/min como maximo.
Asegure la refrigeración con spray de agua (mínimo 50 ml/min.) durante toda la aplicación.
Reglar en caso de producción demasiado elevada o insuficiente de agua.
Inserción de la tira: la tira se introduce en dirección cervical con el contra-ángulo en funcionamien-
to. De esta forma se evita que el instrumento se trabe.
Presión de trabajo: doblar la tira de aprox. de 1 a 1,5 mm para obtener la fuerza ideal de 1 a 2,5N
No bloquear la tira en el espacio interdental.
Extraiga la tira del espacio interdental con el contra-ángulo todavía en movimiento.
Mantenimiento y esterilización
Lave los instrumentos después de su utilización y elimine los eventuales residuos para mantener
intacto su poder abrasivo.
Los instrumentos se presentan en envases no estériles. Deben ser esterilizados al ser utilizados por
primera vez y desinfectados, lavados y esterilizados después de cada utilización.
Utilice autoclaves con un sólo vacío o con vacío fraccionado y con secado al vacío. También pue-
den utilizarse las chemiclaves. Los esterilizadores de aire caliente no son aptos para instrumentos
diamantados.
La esterilización debe realizarse según procedimientos válidos.
Advertencia de riesgo
Evitar torcer y hacer palanca: la aplicación de un exceso de fuerza (gran efecto palanca con el con-
tra-ángulo) provoca la ruptura prematura.
Movimientos de palanca, demasiadas desviaciones laterales y bloqueos durante la rotación
aumentan el peligro de ruptura de los instrumentos.
Después la superación del equator del diente con Intensiv Ortho-Strips Opener, poner atención a
no afectar los tejidos blandos.
Más de 20.000 oscilaciones para minuto pueden causar ruptura del instrumento.
Evitar las temperaturas superiores a 180°C para no comprometer la vida útil del instrumento.
Evitar fuerzas superiores a 3N porque en tal caso podría sufrir daños el instrumento.
Para asegurar la trazabilidad del instrumento durante su aplicación, aconsejamos de quedar su
embalaje.
