Warning
In Case of Abnormalities
In case below abnormalities, switch off the power and unplug the product from the plug immediately.
Continuous use during the following enhances risk of fire, electrical shock. Please contact your supplier
for repair.

■ Do not handle power plug with wet hands.

Caution
During transportation please make sure the power is off and power plug is unplugged.

3. Connecting with Monitor
Please prepare a monitor with HDMI input.
※When connecting via HDMI, please make sure the monitor supports 1080i 30fps, 720P 60fps, 480P 60fps video formats.
※In case of CVBS video connection, please prepare monitor with NTSC support.
This product will only output either HDMI or CVBS at once (simultaneous output is not supported).
By pressing the ENTER button on the CCU, you can switch between HDMI and CVBS output.
4. Camera Connection
Connecting the camera
Insert the camera head with the connector with red circle pointing
up.
Fixing the Camera to the connector
Once fully inserted, turn the connector clock-wise to fix the
connector securely until, outer part of the connector clicks into
place.

5. Connecting the Power Adaptor
Connect the USB Mini-B into the CCU’s power connector(DC-IN)AC adaptor into the power socket.
Note: To avoid issues, please use the adaptor specified by Mils.
6. Power ON/OFF
Power ON:The Green LED will turn on and video will be outputted to the monitor. Also, the Camera information
(current settings) will be shown for 5 seconds.
※It will take approx. 10 seconds until the video feed can be viewed.
Power OFF:The Green LED will be turned off, and the video feed will stop.
Note:When turning off after changing settings, please allow min. 5 seconds.
(If not, settings may not be saved asMin. of 5 seconds is needed for the settings to be applied)
7. Zoom
Press Right / Left Buttons to control the zoom. Max. 2x digital zoom (4 steps).
Note:The current zoom settings do not get displayed on screen.

9. Menu Settings
By pressing the Menu button on the CCU (with power turned on), Menu setting screen will be displayed.
The menu item will be highlighted green if the desired setting is selected.
Sub-Menu screen will be displayed if you select the desired setting by pressing Up / Down and ENTER while in the Menu settings
screen.

The setting will be set and saved if the select the desired setting by pressing Up / Down and ENTER while in the Sub-Menu settings
screen.
※The settings will actually be saved once the Menu settings screen is exited to LIVE screen by pressing Menu after above steps.
8. Camera Information Display
Camera information will be displayed for 5 seconds on top of the screen (camera setting information) on the LIVE screen.

Select Shutter speed in the Menu settings (Press Enter).

White Balance-Manual
Select White Balance in the Menu settings (Press Enter).

Sub-Menu is displayed.

Select Manual (Press ENTER to confirm)

White balance color select screen is displayed。
Once the White balance color select screen is displayed, select Blue or
Red by pressing Up / Down and change the color settings to desired
level。

Confirm the desired color setting by pressing ENTER.

Sub-Menu settings screen (White Balance Settings screen is automatically
displayed.

Press Menu button to return to Top Menu Settings screen。
↓
Press Menu Button again.
White Balance Manual setting will be saved and return to LIVE screen.
Saved settings can be checked by pressing Up button .
(It will display only as Manual and each color settings will not be displayed).

One Push setting should be used when desired color cannot be achieved by setting Auto or Manual settings. Place a white
piece of paper in front of the camera with the same light conditions as the object (filling the screen) and press ENTER.
The One Push will menu will flash for 5 seconds and the color reproduced will be based on the ‘White’ captured during
this process.
※Please adjust the camera brightness so that that there is no halation.
※Please do not move the white object while the flashing is occurring.
White Balance-One Push
Select White Balance in the Menu settings (Press Enter).
↓
Sub-Menu is displayed.
↓
Select One Push (Press ENTER to confirm)
↓
Point the camera to a white object.
↓
Press ENTER while pointing the camera to a white object.
↓
「One Push」 menu will flash for approx. 5 seconds. Please do not move the
camera while the menu is flashing.
↓
Once the white balance is stabilized, the screen will return to Top Menu
Settings。
↓
Press Menu Button again.
White Balance One Push setting will be saved and return to LIVE screen.
Saved settings can be checked by pressing Up button

Select Exposure in the Menu settings (Press Enter).

Sub-Menu is displayed.

Select desired Exposure value between -2.0 ~ +2.0
(Press ENTER to confirm).
↓
Press Menu button
Exposure setting will be saved and return to LIVE screen.
Saved settings can be checked by pressing Up button .
※ Selecting Exposure value to other than 0.0 will make the shutter fixed.
※ -2.0 will reproduce the darkest image and +2.0 the brightest.

Return to Initial Settings (Factory Default Settings)
Select Return to Initial Settings in the Menu settings (Press Enter).

Select 「Yes」 to return to factory default settings or「No」 to remain in

12. Troubleshooting
Symptoms Items!to!check
No power • Make sure that the AC adaptor is connected properly to the CCU.
• Make sure that the power switch on the CCU is set to ON
No video on Monitor • It takes on average 10 seconds to turn on, thus please make sure you wait for min. 1
0seconds before trying to re-connect.
• Check if the connection between the camera head able and CCU is properly connecte
d.
• Make sure that the cable (HDMI or CVBS) is securely connected to the monitor.
※In case of HDMI connection - make sure that the monitor supports the output video
format from the CCU (1080i30,720p60 and 480p60).
※In case of CVBS connection – make sure that the monitor supports NTSC video for
mat.
※Please note, that the CCU only outputs one type of video in a given time (HDMI or
CVBS and not both). Please make sure that the output is selected accordingly by pressi
ng ‘ENTER’
Focus Issues • Focus the lens by turning the know on a given target.
※The closest focal distance for lens depends on its make and model. Please refer to th
e lens manual for more details.
Image is too bright or dark • Adjust the iris ring of the lens to obtain the desired brightness.
• Adjust the Gain and Exposure setting on the CCU (Please refer to page 15 of the ma
nual)
Color issues with the video • Adjust the white balance on the settings menu.
※While a wide range of white balance is supported via the auto setting, there may be
cases where the color tone cannot be fixed due to surrounding environment. In such ca
ses, please refer to pages 13 ~ 14 of the manual for detailed manual or One push white
balance settings.
