 betweenuse.
• Donotobstructtheairpassageopeningorinsertanyobjectsintotheairpassageopening.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveandpersonswithreduced 
 physical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeen 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
General
• Thisairbedisidealfortemporaryindoorandoutdooruseparticularlywhennoelectrical
 poweroutletisreadilyavailable.
• Thisproductoperatesonfour(4)replaceableAAsizebatteries(notincluded).
• Formaximumpowerusealkalinebatteries.Removebatteriesfromequipmentwhichis
not to be used for an extended period of time.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.Donotmixalkaline,standard(Carbon-Zinc),or
 rechargeable(Nickel-Cadmium)batteries.
• Removeusedbatteriespromptly.
• Keepawayfromheatordirectsunlight.
• Alwayspurchasethecorrectsizeandgradeofbatterymostsuitablefortheintendeduse.
• Replaceallbatteriesofasetatthesametime.
• Cleanthebatterycontactsandalsothoseofthedevicepriortobatteryinstallation.
• Ensurebatteriesareinstalledcorrectlywithregardtopolarity(+and-).
• Ifleakingbatteryliquid(electrolyte)comesincontactwithskin,washimmediatelywith
 soapandwaterorneutralizeitwithvinegarorlemonjuice.Incaseofcontactwitheyes,
 rinseimmediatelywithplentyofwaterfor10minutesandseekmedicaladvice.
• Makesuretheareaisflat,level,cleanandfreefromsharpobjects.Topreventpuncture
or damage to the airbed, never drag the airbed across the ground. Lift the inflated airbed
 whenmovingorchanginglocation.
• Duringoutdooruse,placeaprotectivelayersuchasatarp(notincluded)betweenthe
selected surface and the airbed in order to prevent damage to the airbed.
• Nospecificairpumpmaintenanceisrequired.
• Forairbedcleaninguseonlycleanclothwithmildsoapysolution.Donotuseanychemicals.
• Incaseofrepairs,useonlycommonPVCrepairglueandpatches.Forflockedsurfaces:
 rubawaytheflockingmaterialwithaneraserfirstbeforeapplyingtheglueand/orpatch.
• Toreducetheriskofelectricshockorinjury,donotexposetorain.Storeindoors.
CAUTION
Proper inflation of the airbed.
Theambienttemperaturesofairhaveaneffectontheairbedinternalpressure.Atlow
ambienttemperaturetheairwillcontractwithintheairbedandtheairbedwillfeelsofter:
addairasnecessary.Athighambienttemperaturetheairwithintheairbedwillexpand
significantlyandtheairbedwillbecomehardandmayburst:releaseairtoavoiddamage
to the airbed or to soften the feel. Do not expose the airbed to extreme temperatures
(hotorcold).Stretchingisanaturalcharacteristicofnewvinyl.Duringinitialuse,theairbed
maybecomesoftandrequireadditionalinflationtomaintaindesiredfirmness.Thisis
normalforthefirstfewdaysofuse.Dimensionsshownareapproximateandwillvarydue
to the vinyl temperature and the air temperature.
In no event shall Intex, their authorized agents or employees be liable for damages
(such as pin holes) to the airbed caused by negligence, ordinary wear and tear,
abuse and carelessness, or external forces.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Unfold the airbed and open the electric air pump cover (3) to reveal the electric air pump
(2).SeeFig (1).
2. Removetheelectricairpumpbyturningtheairpumprimcounterclockwise,andpullthe
 airpumpout.SeeFig(1).
3. Open the battery cover (5),insert4“AA”alkalinebatteries(NOTINCLUDED)asshown
 onthedrawingsinsidethebatterycompartment,closeandlatchthebatterycover.
 SeeFig(2).
4. Inserttheelectricairpumpintheairbedbyaligningthearrowonthepumpbodywiththe
 arrowonthepumpholderframe (1).Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockit.SeeFig(3-4).

INFLATION
USING THE ELECTRIC AIR PUMP AND TOP OFF THE FIRMNESS WITH THE BUILT-IN
PRESSURE ADJUSTER
NOTE: Theelectricpumpisalowpressureinflator.Startbyinflatingtheairbedusingthe
electricairpumpuntilthesidesareupandthenusethebuilt-inpressureadjustertoreach
your desired firmness.
1. Locatethebuilt-inpressureadjusterandunscrewthecap(7).SeeFig(5).
2. Makesurethemanualinflationportcap (4) on the electric air pump cover (3) is closed
 bypushinginfirmly.SeeFig (6).
3. Open the electric air pump cover (3)andturntheswitchONtoinflatetheairbeduntilthe
 airbedsidewallsareup.SeeFig (7).Theairbedwilltakeshapebutstillfeelsoft.
4. Toswitchoffthepump,simplycloseandlatchtheelectricpumpcover(3) and the pump
 willstop.SeeFig(8).
IMPORTANT:DonotjustturntheswitchOFFwithyourfingerasthiswillallowtheair
 toescape.Closethelargeelectricairpumpcoverwhilethepumpisstilloperatingto 
 switchOFF.

5. Topoffwithhandsorfoot,whicheverismoreconvenient.Placeyourhandsorfoot 
 directlyoverthepressureadjustervalveopening,coveringtheopeningcompletely,and
 pressdownfirmly.Thiswillpushairfromtheairpumpchamberintothebed.SeeFig(9).
6. Removeyourhandsorfootsotheairpumpchamberwillre-fillwithairforthenextcycle.
 SeeFig(10).
7. Repeat until the desired firmness is achieved.
8. Replacethebuilt-inpressureadjustercap(7).
MANUAL INFLATION OPTION
Aconventionalexternalfoot,manualorelectricoperatedairpump(notincluded)canbe
used by connecting it to the manual inflation port located on the electric air pump cover (3).
SeeFig(11).Followthesesteps:
1. Unscrewthebuilt-inpressureadjustercap(7).
2. Makesuretheelectricairpumpcover(3) is latched
closed. To prevent misplacing or damage to the
electric air pump (2), the pump should be properly
attached.
3. Remove the cap from the manual inflation port (4)
and insert the nozzle of the pump into the port.
Inflate the airbed to desired firmness.
NOTE: To prevent bursting, do not over inflate or
use high pressure air compressor.
4. Removenozzlefrommanualinflationportand
close the cap firmly.
5. Screwthebuilt-inpressureadjustercap(7)backon.

POWER DEFLATION
1. Open the air pump cover (3) and remove the electric air pump (2) from the airbed.
 Theopenportwillstartdeflatingtheairbednaturally.SeeFig(12).
2. SwitchONthepumpbypressing“I”andreattachittotheairbedinthereversedirection:
 Withthepowerswitchfacingtheairbed,alignthearrowonthepumprimwiththearrow
 onthepumpholderframeandturnpumpclockwisetolockinplace.Thepumpisonly
 slightlyrecessedwiththepumpbodystickingoutoftheairbedfordeflation.SeeFig(13).
3. With the airbed fully deflated begin rolling the airbed from
 theendoppositeofthepumptowardstheendwherethe
 pumpislocated.SeeFig(14).
4. Removetheelectricairpumpfromtheairbedandswitch
 itOFF.Nowre-attachthepumpinitsoriginalfullyrecessed
 position:Withthepowerswitchfacingawayfromtheairbed,
 alignthearrowonthepumpbodywiththearrowonthepump
holder frame (1) and reattach the air pump to the airbed.
 Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockitandclosetheairpump
cover
(3).
MANUAL DEFLATION
1. Open the air pump cover (3) and remove the electric air pump (2) from the airbed.
 SeeFig(12).
2. Beginrollingtheairbedfromtheendoppositeofthepumptowardstheendwherethe
 pumpislocated.SeeFig (14).
3. Withthepowerswitchfacingawayfromtheairbed,alignthearrowonthepumpbody 
 withthearrowonthepumpholderframe(1) and reattach the air pump to the airbed.
 Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockitandclosetheairpumpcover (3).

2. Makesuretheairbediscleananddry.
3. Laytheairbedflatwiththesleepingsurfacefacingupwardsandfollowthefoldingsteps
 onFigs(15 - 19).Foldtheairbedlooselyandavoidsharpbends,cornersandcreases
 whichcandamagetheairbed.
4. Placetheairbedinsidethestoragebag(ifincluded)ortheoriginalpackagingandstore
in a dry place.
