• Donotoperateairpumpformorethan5minutesatatime.Letpumpcoolatleast15minutes
betweenuse.
• Donotobstructtheairpassageopeningorinsertanyobjectsintotheairpassageopening.
• Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8yearsandaboveandpersonswithreduced
physical,sensoryormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeen
givensupervisionorinstructionconcerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthe
hazards involved.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
General
• Thisairbedisidealfortemporaryindoorandoutdooruseparticularlywhennoelectrical
poweroutletisreadilyavailable.
• Thisproductoperatesonfour(4)replaceableAAsizebatteries(notincluded).
• Formaximumpowerusealkalinebatteries.Removebatteriesfromequipmentwhichis
not to be used for an extended period of time.
• Donotmixoldandnewbatteries.Donotmixalkaline,standard(Carbon-Zinc),or
rechargeable(Nickel-Cadmium)batteries.
• Removeusedbatteriespromptly.
• Keepawayfromheatordirectsunlight.
• Alwayspurchasethecorrectsizeandgradeofbatterymostsuitablefortheintendeduse.
• Replaceallbatteriesofasetatthesametime.
• Cleanthebatterycontactsandalsothoseofthedevicepriortobatteryinstallation.
• Ensurebatteriesareinstalledcorrectlywithregardtopolarity(+and-).
• Ifleakingbatteryliquid(electrolyte)comesincontactwithskin,washimmediatelywith
soapandwaterorneutralizeitwithvinegarorlemonjuice.Incaseofcontactwitheyes,
rinseimmediatelywithplentyofwaterfor10minutesandseekmedicaladvice.
• Makesuretheareaisflat,level,cleanandfreefromsharpobjects.Topreventpuncture
or damage to the airbed, never drag the airbed across the ground. Lift the inflated airbed
whenmovingorchanginglocation.
• Duringoutdooruse,placeaprotectivelayersuchasatarp(notincluded)betweenthe
selected surface and the airbed in order to prevent damage to the airbed.
• Nospecificairpumpmaintenanceisrequired.
•
Forairbedcleaninguseonlycleanclothwithmildsoapysolution.Donotuseanychemicals.
• Incaseofrepairs,useonlycommonPVCrepairglueandpatches.Forflockedsurfaces:
rubawaytheflockingmaterialwithaneraserfirstbeforeapplyingtheglueand/orpatch.
• Toreducetheriskofelectricshockorinjury,donotexposetorain.Storeindoors.
CAUTION
Proper inflation of the airbed.
Theambienttemperaturesofairhaveaneffectontheairbedinternalpressure.Atlow
ambienttemperaturetheairwillcontractwithintheairbedandtheairbedwillfeelsofter:
addairasnecessary.Athighambienttemperaturetheairwithintheairbedwillexpand
significantlyandtheairbedwillbecomehardandmayburst:releaseairtoavoiddamage
to the airbed or to soften the feel. Do not expose the airbed to extreme temperatures
(hotorcold).Stretchingisanaturalcharacteristicofnewvinyl.Duringinitialuse,theairbed
maybecomesoftandrequireadditionalinflationtomaintaindesiredfirmness.Thisis
normalforthefirstfewdaysofuse.Dimensionsshownareapproximateandwillvarydue
to the vinyl temperature and the air temperature.
In no event shall Intex, their authorized agents or employees be liable for damages
(such as pin holes) to the airbed caused by negligence, ordinary wear and tear,
abuse and carelessness, or external forces.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Unfold the airbed and open the electric air pump cover (3) to reveal the electric air pump
(2).SeeFig (1).
2. Removetheelectricairpumpbyturningtheairpumprimcounterclockwise,andpullthe
airpumpout.SeeFig(1).
3. Open the battery cover (5),insert4“AA”alkalinebatteries(NOTINCLUDED)asshown
onthedrawingsinsidethebatterycompartment,closeandlatchthebatterycover.
SeeFig(2).
4. Inserttheelectricairpumpintheairbedbyaligningthearrowonthepumpbodywiththe
arrowonthepumpholderframe (1).Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockit.SeeFig(3-4).

INFLATION
USING THE ELECTRIC AIR PUMP AND TOP OFF THE FIRMNESS WITH THE BUILT-IN
PRESSURE ADJUSTER
NOTE: Theelectricpumpisalowpressureinflator.Startbyinflatingtheairbedusingthe
electricairpumpuntilthesidesareupandthenusethebuilt-inpressureadjustertoreach
your desired firmness.
1. Locatethebuilt-inpressureadjusterandunscrewthecap(7).SeeFig(5).
2. Makesurethemanualinflationportcap (4) on the electric air pump cover (3) is closed
bypushinginfirmly.SeeFig (6).
3. Open the electric air pump cover (3)andturntheswitchONtoinflatetheairbeduntilthe
airbedsidewallsareup.SeeFig (7).Theairbedwilltakeshapebutstillfeelsoft.
4. Toswitchoffthepump,simplycloseandlatchtheelectricpumpcover(3) and the pump
willstop.SeeFig(8).
IMPORTANT:DonotjustturntheswitchOFFwithyourfingerasthiswillallowtheair
toescape.Closethelargeelectricairpumpcoverwhilethepumpisstilloperatingto
switchOFF.

5. Topoffwithhandsorfoot,whicheverismoreconvenient.Placeyourhandsorfoot
directlyoverthepressureadjustervalveopening,coveringtheopeningcompletely,and
pressdownfirmly.Thiswillpushairfromtheairpumpchamberintothebed.SeeFig(9).
6. Removeyourhandsorfootsotheairpumpchamberwillre-fillwithairforthenextcycle.
SeeFig(10).
7. Repeat until the desired firmness is achieved.
8. Replacethebuilt-inpressureadjustercap(7).
MANUAL INFLATION OPTION
Aconventionalexternalfoot,manualorelectricoperatedairpump(notincluded)canbe
used by connecting it to the manual inflation port located on the electric air pump cover (3).
SeeFig(11).Followthesesteps:
1. Unscrewthebuilt-inpressureadjustercap(7).
2. Makesuretheelectricairpumpcover(3) is latched
closed. To prevent misplacing or damage to the
electric air pump (2), the pump should be properly
attached.
3. Remove the cap from the manual inflation port (4)
and insert the nozzle of the pump into the port.
Inflate the airbed to desired firmness.
NOTE: To prevent bursting, do not over inflate or
use high pressure air compressor.
4. Removenozzlefrommanualinflationportand
close the cap firmly.
5. Screwthebuilt-inpressureadjustercap(7)backon.

POWER DEFLATION
1. Open the air pump cover (3) and remove the electric air pump (2) from the airbed.
Theopenportwillstartdeflatingtheairbednaturally.SeeFig(12).
2. SwitchONthepumpbypressing“I”andreattachittotheairbedinthereversedirection:
Withthepowerswitchfacingtheairbed,alignthearrowonthepumprimwiththearrow
onthepumpholderframeandturnpumpclockwisetolockinplace.Thepumpisonly
slightlyrecessedwiththepumpbodystickingoutoftheairbedfordeflation.SeeFig(13).
3. With the airbed fully deflated begin rolling the airbed from
theendoppositeofthepumptowardstheendwherethe
pumpislocated.SeeFig(14).
4. Removetheelectricairpumpfromtheairbedandswitch
itOFF.Nowre-attachthepumpinitsoriginalfullyrecessed
position:Withthepowerswitchfacingawayfromtheairbed,
alignthearrowonthepumpbodywiththearrowonthepump
holder frame (1) and reattach the air pump to the airbed.
Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockitandclosetheairpump
cover
(3).
MANUAL DEFLATION
1. Open the air pump cover (3) and remove the electric air pump (2) from the airbed.
SeeFig(12).
2. Beginrollingtheairbedfromtheendoppositeofthepumptowardstheendwherethe
pumpislocated.SeeFig (14).
3. Withthepowerswitchfacingawayfromtheairbed,alignthearrowonthepumpbody
withthearrowonthepumpholderframe(1) and reattach the air pump to the airbed.
Turntheairpumpclockwisetolockitandclosetheairpumpcover (3).

1. Deflatetheairbedfollowingthe“DEFLATION”instructions.
2. Makesuretheairbediscleananddry.
3. Laytheairbedflatwiththesleepingsurfacefacingupwardsandfollowthefoldingsteps
onFigs(15 - 19).Foldtheairbedlooselyandavoidsharpbends,cornersandcreases
whichcandamagetheairbed.
4. Placetheairbedinsidethestoragebag(ifincluded)ortheoriginalpackagingandstore
in a dry place.
