DT-04 Plus
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
P/N 170022-003EQ (Rev.00)
DT-04 Plus is a two-piece fan coil thermostat
available for Cool only version & Cool + Heat
version. Its application is for mini-split, duct type
or chiller system.
There are 4 major components as follows :


1. Power
Press
button to turn on/off the air
conditioner.
2. Fan
Press
button to select the fan speed
(high, medium, low) or put it in
AUTO
fan
mode.
In
AUTO
fan mode, the fan speed will change
automatically according to the difference
between the room & setting temperatures.
3. Temperature setting
Press
or
button
to set the
temperature.
4. Timer on/off
To set the air conditioner on/off in advance up
to 15 hours.

To turn on in advance, press
button
while the air conditioner is off, LED will
be lit. Press
or
button for
hour setting.

To turn off in advance, follow the above
instruction while the air conditioner is on.

To cancel, press
button
once again,
LED will be off.
5. Sleep
Press button to activate the Sleep
function which will raise up/reduce the setting
temperature 1°C after 1 hour for Cool/Heat
mode respectively.
6. Sweep (optional)
Press
button
to turn on/off the sweep
motor.
7. Mode
Press
button
to select

Cool / Fan mode for cool only version.

Cool / Fan / Heat mode for cool + heat
version.

1. Power
Press button to turn on/off the air
conditioner. When turn on, it will operate
according to the last program settings on the
Remote unit.
2. Fan
Press button to select the fan speed or put
it in
AUTO
fan mode.
3. Temperature setting
Press
button to set the temperature.
4. Mode of operation
Press
MODE
button to change the mode of
operation.
for cool only version, or
for cool + heat version.
Remark

In Fan mode,
FAN LED
on the Display unit
will be lit.

In Cool/Dry mode,
COOL LED
on the
Display unit will be lit.

In Heat mode,
HEAT LED
on the Display
unit will be lit.

In Auto mode, the LED according to the
current operating mode will be lit.
5. Sleep
Press
SLEEP
button to activate the Sleep function
which will raise up/reduce the setting temperature
1°C after 1 hour for Cool/Heat mode respectively.
6. Sweep (optional)
Press
SWEEP
button to turn on/off the sweep motor.
7. Clock Setting
To set the clock on the Remote unit.

Press button until clock symbol
is
blinking.

Press
button
to set the clock.

Press
SEND
button to confirm setting.
8. Timer on/off
To turn on/off the air conditioner in advance
up to 24 hours.

Press button until timer symbol
ON
or
OFF
is blinking.

Press button to set the time.

Press
SEND
button to confirm setting.
Remark
To cancel is to press
button until timer
symbol
ON
or
OFF
is blinking, then press
CANCEL
button.

1. Auto restart
In case of power interruption and back to normal, the Control will resume its operation with the
same settings. However the settings on Sleep & Timer modes will be cancelled.
Remark : No Auto restart feature can be provided as optional.
2. Time delay
There is a time delay for the compressor to restart.
Remark : No time delay feature can be provided as optional to use it with chiller system.
3.
Self diagnostic
There is a self diagnostic facility to show an alarm at the display unit when there is any
system error.

It shows status when the room sensor fails (short /open circuit).

It shows status when the freeze sensor fails (short/open circuit).

It shows status when the compressor fails or the freeze sensor is not installed
properly.

It shows when there is freeze at the indoor coil.
