Care and Maintenance
•Always turn off the lamp and unplug it
before cleaning.
•Let the lamp cool down before
cleaning.
•Periodically wipe down your lamp
with a clean and dry cloth to remove
any moisture or dust particles that
may have accumulated.
•DO NOT clean lamp with water. DO
NOT wipe with wet cloth and DO NOT
submerge in water. Always keep lamp
away from water.
•NOTE: Himalayan Salt Lamps may
“sweat” in humid conditions.
•How to Replace your Salt Lamp’s Bulb
•PRECAUTIONS:
•Always choose the correct bulb that is compatible with your
lamp’s socket AND cord. Make sure it is the correct size AND
wattage. This information can usually be found on the cord.
•DO NOT exceed manufacturer’s maximum wattage as specified
on the cord.
•When changing and replacing bulbs, always be careful of broken
glass.
•How to Replace the Bulb:
•1. Unplug the lamp and allow the bulb to cool. (If your lamp is a
basket-style lamp, remove the salt chunks and set them aside in
a safe, dry location.)
•2. Remove the cord: Squeeze the metal prongs and pull the bulb
socket straight out.
•3. Unscrew the bulb from the bottom of the socket.
•4. Screw in a new bulb carefully. The bulb should screw in
smoothly. DO NOT force it in. Ensure the bulb is secured tightly in
the socket.
•5. Reinsert the cord into the lamp. Ensure that it is fully inserted.
DO NOT force it in. Tuck in the cord securely to make sure the
lamp is balanced.
