of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying
the appliance.
This unit is designed to operate on an AC 230V~50Hz supply only. Connecting it to other power sources may damage it.
Ensure that the supply corresponds to the information on the rating label on the bottom of the unit.
The CAUTION marking is located at the bottom of the unit.
Below markings are located inside CD compartment.

Warnings:
Safety Considerations
1. Ensure a minimum distance of 5 cm around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
2. The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers,
tablecloth, curtains, etc.
3. No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
4. It shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall
be placed on the apparatus.
5. Do not place the product in closed bookcases or racks without proper ventilation.
6. Where the mains plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.

connection.

Connecting Power
Plug the supplied AC power cord into the AC jack that located on the rear of the product and plug the
other end into a standard AC socket. The unit is designed to operate from a main supply of AC
230V~50Hz.
Battery Operation
Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the batteries as indicated in the battery
compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the device.
Do not mix different type of batteries together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon Zinc) or old batteries with
fresh ones.
If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, remove the batteries to prevent damage or
injury from possible battery leakage.
Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be recharged, they can overheat and rupture
(Follow battery manufacturer’s directions).
Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before being charged.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.

CAUTION: The supplied AC power cord has a polarized plug that fits into the wall outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit properly, turn it over and try again. Do not force it.
NOTES: When the unit is not operated by the AC power or unused for long periods of time, please
remove the AC mains plug from the wall outlet and unplug from the main unit.

Adjusting the rod antenna
The aerial should be extended to ensure good reception in both FM radio modes. It may be necessary
to adjust the position of the unit and /or aerial position to achieve the best signal reception.
Remark:
The unit has built-in AM ferrite bar antenna, which can provide adequate reception in most areas.
If the AM reception is weak, try to adjust the location of the unit or relocate the unit to improve the
reception. If the FM reception is weak, try to adjust the length and the angle of the FM antenna to
improve the signal reception.
SWITCHING ON FOR THE FIRST TIME
RADIO OPERATION

Plug into AC power or install batteries by following instructions on the previous Power Connection
section. A clock will be displayed once it is connected. Press STANDBY button to turn on the unit. The
LCD display will turned on. FM is the default mode.
Switching between different source (FM / AM/ CD/ USB/ SD Card/ Bluetooth/ AUX)
After turning on the unit, press SOURCE button to select different sound sources
Adjusting sound volume level
After turning on the unit, press VOL + / VOL - buttons to adjust the level of sound volume.
The unit is designed to receive FM Stereo/ FM and AM radio bands.
1. Press SOURCE button to switch to FM mode with LCD showing FM frequency
2. Press TUN+ / TUN- buttons to search your desire radio stations.
3. If you want to store the station you are listening, press PROG button once. The LCD shows “P01”
means the first station to be stored and “P” icon is flashing. Press SKIP buttons if you want to store in
other memory other than P01. There are total 20 stations that can be stored.
4. Press PROG again to confirm.
5. Once you store all 20 stations, press PRESET button to go to your stored stations one by one.
6. When the FM signal is strong enough, the FM stereo indicator - “ST” will be turned on. If you want to
switch to FM mono, you can press FM ST/ MONO button. Press again to get back to FM stereo.
7. For AM mode, press SOUCE button to switch to AM mode with LCD showing AM frequency. You can
repeat step 2 to 5 for AM operation.
SET THE CLOCK
After you plugging in the power cord or inserting batteries, you can see a clock displayed on
the LCD display (before power on). Follow below steps to set the clock:
1. Press and hold PROG./MEM button. The hour digits will flash. Press SKIP buttons to
adjust the hour.
2. Press PROG./MEM button again to confirm the hour. And the minute digits will start to
flash. Press SKIP buttons to adjust the minutes.
3. Press PROG./MEM button again to confirm the minutes.
You can change the time whenever you want when it is in standby mode with above steps.

The unit is designed to play normal music CD and MP3 disc bearing the correct identication logo. If the
disc does not confirm to the standard, it may not be played back properly.
Caution:
•Playback of CD-R/CD-RW may depend on recording conditions.
•Do not attach a seal or label to either side (the recordable side or the labeled side) of a CD-R/
RW disc. It may cause malfunction.
•Do not load a blank CD-R/ RW disc. It will take over 1 minute to read the disc. The disc may
be damaged if you try to open the CD Door while reading the disc.
•CD-ROM, CD-I, CDV, VCD, DVD or computer CDs are not possible to be read.
CD playback
After loading the disc, the disc will begin spinning and the total number of the tracks on the disc will
be shown on the display. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button once, the first track on the CD will
start to play.
CD & MP3 DISC OPERATION
Remark:
•If there is no disc in the unit, “No” or “Er” will be indicated on the display.
•If the CD cannot be read, “No” or “Er” will be indicated on the display.
Play/Pause Control
To pause playback temporarily press the PLAY/PAUSE button. Music playback will be paused.
The play icon will flash. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to resume playback.
Stop playback
To stop playback, press the STOP button on the unit. The total number of tracks of the disc will be
displayed.
Skip track
During playback, press the forward or backward SKIP buttons to skip to the next or previous tracks.
High-speed music search
During playback, press and hold the forward or backward SKIPbuttons to skip/search through the
current track at high speed in forward or backward directions. When the SKIP buttons are released,
normal playback speed will be resumed immediately.

Loading disc
1. Press the SOURCE button to switch to CD mode with LCD shows CD icon.
2. Lift up the CD door.
3. Hold the CD disc by its edge with CD graphical side facing up and put it onto the CD compartment.
Make sure that the disc label is facing up.
4. Close the CD door.

Remark:
•The unit can store up to 20 tracks in the programmable memories. During the programmed
playback, user can still select the “repeat 1/repeat all” functions.
•During playback, if you press STOP button once to stop the playback, the programmed tracks will
be stored. If you want to re-run the programmed tracks, press PLAY/PAUSE button again.
Repeat playback modes (Repeat 1/Repeat all)
Repeat the Current Track
During playback, press the REPEAT button until the icon is displayed so that the current track
can be repeated.
Repeat All Tracks
During playback, press the REPEAT button until icon are displayed. All tracks on the
disc will be repeated continuously.
Return to normal playback
Press the REPEAT button until NO repeat indicator is displayed. The normal playback will be resumed.
Programmed CD playback
This unit can be programmed to play up to 20 tracks in CD mode. Load the music CD disc onto the CD
compartment (without pressing the “PLAY/PAUSE” button)
1. Press PROG button once in the stop mode. “PROG” icon and the selected track “00”will be shown
on the display and blinking.
2. Press the SKIP buttons to select the desired track to be programmed.
3. Press PROGbutton again to save the selected track.
4. Repeat steps 2-3 to program up to 20 tracks.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play the programmed tracks after programming is completed.
The “P” icon will be displayed during the programmed playback.
6. To clear program and resume normal playback, press the STOP button twice during playback, or
open the CD door, or change to other modes to clear the programmed tracks

SWITCH TO USB OR SD CARD MODE

REPEAT PLAY
1. During playback, press REPEAT button once, icon will appear on the LCD.
It can keep repeat the current track.
2. To repeat the Folder, press REPEAT button twice, will
appear on the LCD.
3. To repeat all tracks in disc, press REPE AT button again, will appear on the
LCD.
4. To clear the REPEAT function, press REPE AT button again, all icon will disappear
on the LCD.
INSERTING USB FLASH DRIVE OR SD CARD
1. Insert a USB flash driver into the USB socket OR SD card into SD card slot on the top
of your boombox
2. Make sure that USB or SD Card mode is selected as the audio source.
3. Press PLAY/PAUSE to start playback.
PLAY/PAUSE
1. To start playing, press the PLAY/PAUSE button once, the currently track number and
PLAY indicator will appear on the screen. (“USB” or “CARD” will be shown on the LCD).
2. To pause, press PLAY/PAUSE button, the PLAY incon will flash.
3. To resume play, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
STOP
If the STOP button is pressed in the course of playing, it will stop playback.
SKIP PLAY
In stop or playback mode, you can skip up or down to a specific track by pressing the
forward or back SKIP Buttons.
SEARCH
You can press and hold the SKI P buttons
( SEARCH ) to locate a specific point on a
track. The system will search at high speed in the forward or reverse direction. By releasing
the button, normal play will be resumed.

Press SOURCE button to switch to USB or SD Card mode. “USB” or “CARD” icons will be
shown on LCD display.

FOLDER

1. Follow the instructions for Pairing a Bluetooth Device.
2. Use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth Device to select a track.
3. To play, pause or skip the selected track, use the native controls on the connected Bluetooth Device
or press the PLAY/PAUSE, SKIP buttons of unit.
4. Audio playback from the connected Bluetooth device can now be heard through the speaker.
PLAYING MUSIC VIA BLUETOOTH
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
BLUETOOTH SETUP
Pairing is the term used when two Bluetooth devices are connected wirelessly for the first time.
1. Press the SOURCE button to switch to Bluetooth mode with LCD shows Bluetooth icon with flashing
“bt” wording.
2. Using the native controls on your Bluetooth device select “CEU2700-BT” in your Bluetooth setting.
3. When successfully paired the BT indicator will stop to flash.
4. After initial pairing, the unit will stay paired unless unpaired manually by the user or erased due to a
reset of the device. You can also press and hold STOP button on the unit to unpair.
5. If any pairing issues occurred, unpair the unit on your Bluetooth device and follow the above steps
again.
PROGRAMMING USB & SD CARD PLAYBACK

USB & SD CARD OPERATION
This unit can be programmed to play up to 20 tracks/ files in USB OR SD card modes. Plug
the USB flash drive or SD card and select USB or SD card mode by press SOURCE button.
1) Press PROG./MEM button once in stop mode. “P01” will be shown on LCD.
2) Press SKIP OR 10+ buttons to select the desired track to be programmed.
3) Press PROG./MEM button again to save the selected tracks/ files. “P01” will jump to
“P02” which means one track has been saved.
4) Repeat steps 2-3 to program up to 20 tracks/ files.
5) Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play the programmed tracks after programming is
completed. The “P” icon will appear on LCD during the programmed playback.
6) To clear program and resume normal playback, press the STOP button twice during
playback to clear the programmed tracks.
REMARK:
The unit can store up to 20 tracks/ files in the programmable memories. During the
programmed playback, user can still select “repeat one/ repeat all” function.

Setting up auxiliary input (AUX IN) connection
AUX IN jack allows you to connect external music player or external sound source to the main unit.
1. Plug into a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) into your external music player and connect the
other end (3.5mm jack) into the AUX IN jack at the back of the unit.
2. Make sure your external music player is turned on.
3. Press the SOURCE button to switch to AUX mode.
4. Start music playback on your external music player.
5. Adjust VOLUME to control the sound level of music playback from the speakers on the unit.

USING HEADPHONE
You can plug in headphone at the back of headphone jack to listen music or radio for all
modes. The operation is the same as previous sections.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
*Carrying for Compact Discs
1. Treat the disc carefully. Handle the disc only by its edges. Never allow your fingers to come
in contact with the shiny, unprinted side of the disc.
2. Do not attach adhesive tape, stickers, etc. to the disc label.
3. Clean the discs periodically with a soft, lint-free, dry cloth. Never use detergents or abrasive
cleaners to clean the disc. If necessary, use a CD cleaning kit. If a disc skips or gets stuck
on a section of the disc, it is probably dirty or damaged (scratched). When cleaning the disc,
wipe in straight lines from the center of the disc to the outer edge of the disc. Never wipe in
circular motions.
4. This unit is designed to play discs bearing the identification logo as shown here or MP3
format Disc. Other discs may not conform to the CD standard and may not play properly.
5. Discs should be stored in their cases after each use to avoid damage.
6. Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, high temperatures, or dust, etc.
Prolonged exposure or extreme temperatures can warp the disc.
7. Do not stick or write anything on either side of the disc. Sharp writing instruments or the
ink may damage the surface.
*Care of the Cabinet
1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, disconnect your unit from the AC power source when
cleaning.
2. The finish on your unit may be cleaned with a dust cloth and cared for as other furniture.
Use caution when cleaning and wiping the plastic parts.
3. Mild soap and a damp cloth may be used on the front panel.
*To Clean the Lens
If the lens get dirty, your player may skip or may not play a CD
1. Open the CD door.
2. Use a camera lens blower/brush to blow on the lens once or twice, brush the dust or
particles off the lens then blow again.
3. To remove fingerprints, use a dry cotton swab to wipe from the middle to outer edge of
the lens.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM
Unit will not turn on. AC cord not connected. Check AC cord connection.
Disc will not play. Disc Compartment door not
