Attention! Read all safety information, instructions and illustrations
thoroughly. Failure to observe the following instructions may cause
electric shock, fire and/or severe injuries. Please keep the operating
instructions in a safe place and enclose them with the product in
case you ever pass it on.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 years and over, as well
as by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capacities or
a lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or have
been instructed in the safe use of the appliance and have understood
the dangers it poses. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they
are supervised.
• Pregnant women and persons with electrically operated
medical devices (e.g. pacemakers, hearing aids, insulin
pumps,...) carried in or on the body must not use or be
sprayed with this appliance.
• Keep your mouth closed during use and avoid taking deep breaths. The
mucous membranes could be irritated by the cosmetic product.
• Do not spray onto open wounds.
• Close your eyes while spraying near your face. Rinse the cosmetic
product thoroughly if it comes into contact with your eyes, and consult
a doctor if the irritation is severe.
• IONIQ ONE is primarily designed for spraying your own body. If you
spray another person with IONIQ ONE, touch the other person’s skin
with your hand to prevent electrostatic charge.
• Only use original cartridges. Do not try to refill cartridges. The use
of non-original cartridges can lead to technical problems with the
appliance or damage to the user’s health.
• The appliance contains a battery that cannot be replaced.
• Never charge the appliance if it is damaged (e.g. cracks in the housing).
Safety information

A damaged battery can explode or cause a fire.
• Do not charge and use the appliance near containers filled with water.
• Only use and store the appliance and cartridges at temperatures
between 0 °C and 40 °C. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and store the
appliance and cartridges in the carrying bag provided.
• Do not use the appliance near sources of ignition such as naked flames,
burning cigarettes and hot surfaces. The sprayed liquid could ignite.
• Keep a distance of approx. 2 m from electrical devices during use to
avoid disturbances caused by electrostatics.
• Do not use the appliance in aeroplanes or hospitals.
• Be careful not to spray any objects or persons accidentally to avoid
damage and soiling. If possible, keep a distance of approx. 2 m. Cover
sensitive floors/surfaces (e.g. with a bath towel).
• Keep the appliance in a safe place, out of the reach of children under 8
years of age.
• Switch off the appliance immediately if a malfunction occurs.
• Do not open the appliance to carry out repairs. Contact customer
services.
• Clean the nozzle field regularly. If the nozzles are clogged, liquid may
leak from the appliance and cause malfunctions.
• Only clean the appliance when it is switched off and not charging. Only
clean the surface of the appliance with a damp cloth and mild soap.
• Switch off the machine before cleaning a clogged nozzle field. Do not
use sharp objects for cleaning.

Area of application
IONIQ ONE was developed for the touch-free application of cosmetic care products to
the body. Facial applications are possible depending on the care product (observe the
corresponding application instructions on the cartridge).
IONIQ ONE is designed exclusively for private use.

Bluetooth display
Flashes slowly while searching for a connection (max. 30 seconds).
Lights up constantly after a successful connection has been made.
Goes out when the connection has been lost.
Battery charge status
The faster the flashing, the lower the charge level (slow: < 5 minutes; fast:
< 2 minutes).
Flashes slowly when charging, lights up constantly when fully charged.
Cartridge status
Flashes when the cartridge is removed or replaced by another IONIQ product
with sprayer switched on. Goes out when original cartridge is reinserted.
Also flashes when the fill level of the cartridge is low. The faster the flashing,
the lower the fill level (have a spare cartridge ready).
IQ
Lights up constantly when the appliance is switched on.
Flashes in case of malfunctions (for information on possible solutions see
chapter 05 “Help with problems”).
ON/OFF switch
Turns the appliance on and starts searching for a connection.
Press and hold for more than 10 seconds to reset the sprayer.
Trigger buttons
Press both trigger buttons with the appliance switched on to start
spraying; during spraying, one trigger button can be released again.
Press and hold both trigger buttons and the ON/OFF switch at the same
time to clean a clogged nozzle field with a concentrated jet.
Displays and controls
When pressing and releasing the ON/OFF switch and the trigger buttons, you can
hear the pump pumping liquid out of or into the cartridge. These noises are normal
and no cause for concern.

Vibration feedback
2x
Vibrate twice
As a positive feedback (e.g. successful Bluetooth connection), the
sprayer vibrates twice.

Vibrate three times
In case of errors (e.g. empty cartridge), the sprayer vibrates three
times.

Constant vibration
A cartridge was unscrewed with the sprayer switched on.
Reinsert the removed cartridge immediately and switch off
the sprayer before changing the cartridge again. The residual
liquid still contained in the sprayer is pumped out after a short
time and leads to contamination of the newly inserted cartridge
or the environment. Contaminated cartridges can no longer be
used!

The free IONIQ ONE app oers a variety of features to help you
use IONIQ ONE and organise your personalised skincare routine.
Features such as individual sun protection recommendations, a sun
protection timer and an interactive guide help you tailor your skin
care to your individual needs. Scan the QR code shown to download

Use

Charging
Slide the cover to the side. Plug the USB
cable into the switched-off appliance
and connect it to the power source.
Charging the IONIQ ONE. The charge level
indicator flashes slowly during charging
and lights up constantly when the appliance
is fully charged (approx. 5 hours when the
sprayer is completely discharged). Remove
the USB cable from the appliance and
disconnect it from the power source. Close
the cover.
When using a USB mains adapter, only use an EN 60335-1 compliant
USB-C charger with 5V === 0.5A. You can find suitable models on
ioniqskin.com or in the IONIQ app.
The appliance should be fully charged before first use.

Only use original cartridges. The use of non-original cartridges can lead to
technical problems with the appliance or damage to the user’s health.
Remove the cover of the
nozzle field.
Aim the sprayer into a washbasin (empty vessel). Press and
hold both trigger buttons (IQ and flash). Keep the trigger
buttons pressed until the liquid is sprayed from all three
nozzles for at least 5 seconds.
When using the sprayer for the first time and for cleaning, use the enclosed
cleaning cartridge before starting the actual application. Cleaning the sprayer
and nozzle field twice a week is recommended (see chapter „Cleaning and
care“).

Use of an IONIQ care product
Remove the cover of the

To start the application, press and hold both trigger
buttons.
For correct use, follow the instructions in the “Tips”
chapter or get help in the app tutorial.
Only use original cartridges. The use of non-original cartridges can lead to
technical problems with the appliance or damage to the user’s health.

Changing the cartridge
Switch off the appliance and remove the
cartridge.
Screw in the new cartridge until you
feel it click into place and switch the
appliance on again.
Always switch off the appliance first and only then remove the cartridge
so that the residual liquid from the appliance is pumped back into the
cartridge. If this is not done, the sprayer will vibrate constantly as a
warning. The residual liquid in the sprayer is automatically pumped
out after 2 minutes. This leads to contamination of the newly inserted
cartridge or the environment. Contaminated cartridges can no longer be
used! Reinsert the removed cartridge immediately and switch off the
sprayer before changing the cartridge again.
Always close the cartridge with the lid when it is not mounted in the
sprayer. This, for example, prevents liquid from leaking out during
transport.
Twice a week and when changing from the tanning cartridge to another care product or
before/after a longer period of non-use, the sprayer and the nozzle field should be cleaned
as described in the chapter „Cleaning and care“ to remove all residues.

Tips

The skin, nozzle field, area behind the nozzle
field and the cartridge should be dried before
application. Wet skin or a contaminated
sprayer may cause uneven application
(“white spots”).
Do not rub the liquid after application. Rubbing destroys the even
surface and impairs the protective function. Let the liquid soak in
before getting dressed again.
Move IONIQ ONE evenly over the
whole body. The speed should be
approx. 6-10 seconds for one arm
length, depending on the care product.
Further information is available in the
app.
Do not touch the nozzle field when the sprayer is switched on, otherwise an unpleasant
discharge may occur.
If possible, keep a distance of
approx. 2 m from uninvolved
persons, objects and sensitive
surfaces. This prevents soiling
and possible damage. There is
a risk of data loss with credit
cards and electromagnetic
storage media.

The spraying result depends on the correct use of the IONIQ Sprayer. Please note the
following tips to avoid application errors, which can lead to an uneven application quality of
the product used and thus reduce its eectiveness.

For best results, spray the arms
and the legs from all sides.
Spray the chest, side of
the torso and abdomen
in several parallel
strokes.
Always keep a distance of approx. 20 cm so that the
application is even. If the distance is too small, „stripes“ will
appear on the skin. Close the hand when spraying to keep
the palm clean. Keep eyes closed during spraying.

To check the right distance:
1. Touch the body first with
the top of the sprayer.
2. Then turn the sprayer to
the spraying position.
If the nozzle field is blocked, point the sprayer with the
inserted cleaning cartridge into a wash basin (vessel)
and hold both trigger buttons down for several seconds.
This removes the blockage with a concentrated jet of
liquid. If unsuccessful, clean the nozzle field and sprayer
as described in chapter “Cleaning and care”.

Hold the sprayer over your shoulder at head height
and spray the upper back and neck using steady, slow
movements over both shoulder blades.
Turn the sprayer 180° and spray
the lower back up to the middle.
Then change hands and repeat
the process on the other side.
To spray the middle back, hold
the sprayer from above as low
as possible over the back. Fold
the wrist upwards and bend the
upper body slightly forwards.
The marked body parts are
easily forgotten and should
therefore be sprayed again
specifically.
The sprayer should be cleaned thoroughly with the enclosed cleaning cartridge either
when changing the care product or twice a week.
Also keep a distance of 20 cm when spraying the back.
Close your eyes while spraying near your face.
Always insert the
cover after application
to avoid drying.

Help with problems
Problem Possible solution
IONIQ ONE does
not spray and
vibrates constantly
• Cartridge removed with sprayer switched on and changed
to another type ( flashes). Reinsert the removed cartridge
immediately and switch o the sprayer. Otherwise the newly
inserted cartridge or the environment will be contaminated by
the residual liquid in the sprayer. Contaminated cartridges
can no longer be used!
IONIQ ONE does
not spray
• Battery empty, please charge.
• Cartridge empty ( flashes), please replace.
• Cartridge adapter missing ( and flashes), please insert
(see "Cleaning and care" chapter) or order spare part.
• If the nozzle field is blocked, insert the cleaning cartridge, aim
the sprayer into a washbasin (container) and hold down both
trigger buttons for several seconds to remove the blockage.
If not successful, clean the nozzle field as described in the
"Cleaning and care" chapter.
• Trigger buttons have jammed. Please follow the
troubleshooting guide at www.ioniqskin.com or contact
customer service.
• IONIQ ONE defective (all indicators flashing continuously),
please contact customer services.
Cartridge does not
hold properly
• Thread blocked, please clean.
Cartridge is not
recognised
• Cartridge is not seated correctly, please screw in as far as it
will go.
• No original cartridge or cartridge has been refilled ( flashes),
please only use original IONIQ cartridges.
• Cartridge removed with sprayer switched on and changed to
another type ( flashes), please insert original cartridge and
switch o the appliance before changing the cartridge again.
• IONIQ ONE defective (all indicators flashing continuously),
please contact customer services.
• Cartridge defective/contaminated, use another cartridge.

sprayer before re-applying.

• Nozzle field is not seated correctly, please engage nozzle field
completely (see chapter “Cleaning and care”).
• Nozzle field damaged, please order spare part.
Connection via
Bluetooth failed
• Appliance/Bluetooth switched o, please switch on.
• Connection process not completed correctly, please follow
the instructions in the IONIQ app carefully.
• IONIQ app not installed, please download the app.
IONIQ ONE
does not work
properly or app
displays incorrect
information about
the sprayer
• Press and hold the ON/OFF switch for more than 10 seconds
to reset the sprayer.

Cleaning and care

Only clean the appliance when it is switched off and not charging. Only
clean the appliance with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use sharp
objects for cleaning.
First switch o the unit,
remove the care product

If necessary, remove the cartridge adapter
by turning it and cleaning it with your fingers
using water and mild soap.
Clean the surface of the
IONIQ ONE with a damp
cloth if necessary.
We recommend cleaning the sprayer twice a week with the cleaning cartridge.
Formulation residues on the sprayer or nozzle field should always be removed
immediately with a damp cloth. Then dry thoroughly.

Allow all parts of the IONIQ ONE to dry completely
before reassembling. Replace the cartridge adapter and
nozzle field. Press each nozzle down individually so that
the nozzle array is fully engaged and sits completely
flush on the sprayer.

At the end of its service life, the appliance, including accessories and
packaging, must be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
Separate packaging materials by type and put them in the recyclables
collection.
Old appliances and rechargeable batteries/batteries must not be disposed of
with household waste. The appliance contains a built-in battery that must be
removed and disposed of separately as described in the next chapter. Help
protect the environment by taking the appliance and the battery to a local
disposal point, contact customer service or make inquiries at a specialist shop.
Used cartridges are recyclable and can be easily disposed of in a separate
collection for used packaging. Please empty cartridges as much as possible
before disposal.

Battery removal for disposal
Remove the metal ring at
the end of the sprayer with
a flat-blade screwdriver and
a hammer (fix the sprayer

Disassemble the housing
and remove the battery.
Please protect the
individual parts from
access by children and
young people.
Only remove the battery at the end of the product‘s life, as this will destroy
the product. If you wish to remove and dispose of the battery yourself, please
note that the individual parts must be disposed of properly as described in
chapter 09.
The steps described are an exemplary procedure. Please use the necessary caution when
opening to avoid injury.
