Turn On And Pairing The Earbuds
1)
Turn on and pairing the earbuds while
they are outside of the charging case.
Pressing and hold the multifunctional
button on both left & right earbuds until you
see the indicator LED are flashing red and
blue alternatively, then release the fingers.
After a short wait, you will observe the indi-
cator LED on the right earbud turn into slow
flashing blue light mode, while the indicator
LED on the left earbud continue to flash
blue and red alternatively, this means that
the right earbud is paired to the left
earbud, and the left earbud is trying to
paired up to the phone. After another short
wait, if this pair of earbuds has been paired
to the phone before, the left earbud will
quickly re-connect to the phone and com-
pletes the pairing procedure. At this time,
the indicator LED on both earbuds will be in
slow flashing blue light state (every 10 sec-
onds); If the earbuds have not been paired
to the phone before, following these steps
below on the phone to complete the pair-
ing procedure.

i)
On the smart phone, go to the “Settings”
screen, turn on “Bluetooth” service.
ii)
Under “Other devices”, find and select
“Splendid Sound iQute”, If you phone (or
other equipment such as a MAC Book) asks
the pass code, enter 0000 (four zeros) and
accept the connection.
Observe that the “Splendid Sound iQute”
become “connected”, and you should see
the indicator LED on both earbuds will be in
slow flashing blue light state (every 10 sec-
onds)

Turn on and pairing the earbuds turn on
and pair up the earbuds from the charging
case the charging case.
Opening the charging case’s lid will turn on
the earbuds, wait unitil earbuds’ indicator
LED turns red, then take out earbuds from
the charging case, after removing the ear-
buds from the charging cases, the earbuds
will automatically enter pairing mode and
attempt to connect back to the phone
which was paired to last time. If the phone
is within the pairing distance, the connec-
tion will be done automatically. Once con-
nected, the indicator LED on both earbuds
will enter the slow flashing mode (once
every 10 seconds).

Notes
When the distance between the earbuds
and the phone (or other devices such as
macbooks) is beyond effective range, ear-
buds disconnects with the phone ( or other
devices). Earbuds will power off automati-
cally once being inactive for 5 minutes.
When you first turn on the earbuds, please
follow the procedures below to pair the
earbuds with your phone:

Basic Operation

Hard reset
Drop the earbuds into the charging box to
reset the earbuds.
2)
Turn on
Touching and hold the multifunctional
button until you see the blue indicator LED is
lit up.
3)
Turning off
Stop music or phone call, then press and
hold the multifunctional button for more
than 3 seconds, until you see the indicator
LED on both earbuds turn into red light, then
release the fingers to turn off the earbuds.
The indicator LED will stay on red light during
the shut down process for about 2 seconds
before turning off. When paired, turning off
either the left or the right earbud will cause
the other to power off as well. The earbuds
will play “Powering off” voice in the earbuds
upon powering off.

When the earbuds are in charging mode
(inside the charging case), after the ear-
buds are fully charged, they will be turned
off automatically while inside the charging
case.

Enter standby
When not in a call, and the music has been
paused for over 10 seconds, the earbuds
will enter the standby mode.

Answer a call
Single press on the multifunctional button to
answer an incoming call. (Note: the left side
earbud is the master.)

Reject a call
Double press the multifunctional button to
reject the call.
7)
End a call
Double Press on the multifunctional button
to end a call.
8)
Last number re-dial
when the phone is in standby mode, press
the volume "+" button on the left earbud to
initiate the last number re-dial.
9)
Music play and pause
Single press on the multifunctional button to
play/pause music. (Some phone may
require you to start a media player first).
10)
Track forward
Press and hold the ”+” button for 2 seconds
in music playing mode.

Charging
1.
Charging the earbuds
Drop the earbuds into the charging case
with charging pins pointed to the
charging pads on the earbuds, you might
need to wiggle the earbuds a little bit to
make the full charging contact, or simply
close the charging case’s lid, as the lid will
push the earbuds into the correct
charging positions. The earbud charging
indicator LED on the inside case will be
flashing red and green light alternative
once the charging starts.
Starting charging will also hard reset the
earbuds; once the earbuds are fully
charged, the earbuds will be turned off to
conserve power and the charging indica-
tor LED will be turned off as well.

Charging charging case
Use any USB A to MicroUSB cable to con-
nect the charging case to a PC or a 5V
adaptor with a USB plug to charge the
charging case.

Safety And Care
Using earbuds at high to moderate volume
for extended periods of time will results in
permanent hearing damage.
Do not use while driving a car, cycling,
operating machinery, or performing other
activities that requires hearing surrounding
sounds.
Do not use earbuds in thunderstorm weath-
er, the eabuds may not work properly in the
condition, and increases the risk of being hit
by lighning.
Earbuds may not work properly under high
temperature or high humidity conditions.
Do not use any corrosive clearner/oil to
clean the earbuds.
If the earbuds comes in contact with liquids,
quickly wipe away the liquid.

Because the earbuds and the container
case contain batteries inside. Please follow
applicable laws and regulations for trans-
port, shipping, and disposal of batteries. For
details on recycling lithium, lithium-phos-
phate, and lithium-ion batteries, please
contact a government recycling agency,
your waste-disposal service, or visit reputa-
ble online recycling sources such as ww-
w.batteryrecycling.com.
In the unlikely event a lithium-ion battery
catches fire, DO NOT attempt to put the fire
out with water—use a Class A, B, or C fire
extinguisher.
Keep the earbuds and packaging out of
reach of children.

connected wirelessly, the radiofrequency
signal may be affected by surrounding envi-
ronment such as human body, wifi signals
nearby etc. Thus this is a normal behavior.
Q6: After long time of no use, the headset
can not start?
A6: Please charge reset. Note rechargeable
batteries can not be left depleted for too
long, this would damage the batteries.
Q7: One of the earbuds seems not be able
to pair to the phone?
A7: Please drop both earbuds into the
charging case to reset the earbuds, then
take them out and try to pair again.
