Achtung: Die Montage be-
deutet Netzanschluss.
230 V heißt Lebensgefahr!
Daher als Erstes Strom
abschalten und Span-
nungsfreiheit mit einem
Spannungsprüfer über-
prüfen. Bei der Installa-
tion des Sensors handelt
es sich um eine Arbeit an
der Netzspannung: Sie
muss daher fachgerecht
nach VDE 0100 ausgeführt
werden. Beachten Sie bitte,
dass der Bewegungsmel-
der mit einem 10 A-Lei-
tungsschutzschalter abge-
sichert werden muss. Der
Montageort sollte mindes-
tens 50 cm von einer
Leuchte entfernt sein, da
Wärmestrahlung zur Aus-
lösung des Systems füh-
ren kann. Die Montage-
höhe sollte ca. 2 m betra-
gen. Mit einem Schrau-
bendreher die Befesti-
gungsschraube 5entge-
gen dem Uhrzeigersinn
losschrauben, die Monta-
geplatte 1nach unten
schieben und abziehen.
Die innere Verdrahtung zur
Lüsterklemme nicht lösen,
sondern die gesamte
Klemme durch leichtes
Ziehen herausnehmen. Die
beiliegenden Gummistop-
fen in die Montageplatte
einsetzen. Die Montage-
platte an die Wand halten
und die Bohrlöcher an-
zeichnen; auf die Leitungs-
führung in der Wand ach-
ten, Löcher bohren; Dübel
setzen. Um einen Schalt-
vorgang durchführen zu
können, muß der Netzan-
schluss durch ein minde-
stens zweipoliges Kabel
hinein- und durch ein
zweites Kabel zum Ver-
braucher hinausgeführt
werden. Die zwei Gummi-
stopfen können dafür mit
einem Schraubendreher
durchgestoßen werden.
Für eine Auf-Putz-Ver-
drahtung sind zwei La-
schen unten an der Wand-
befestigung vorgesehen.
Diese können leicht abge-
knickt werden. Wenn die
Kabel durchgeführt sind,
kann die Montageplatte
angeschraubt werden.
yAnschluss der
Netzzuleitung
Die Netzzuleitung be-
steht aus einem 2- bis
3-poligen Kabel.
L= stromführender Lei-
ter (meistens schwarz
oder braun)
N= Nullleiter (meistens
blau)
PE = eventueller Schutz-
leiter (grün/gelb)
Im Zweifel müssen Sie
die Kabel mit einem
Spannungsprüfer identi-
fizieren; anschließend
wieder spannungsfrei
schalten. Die Lüster-
klemmen sind für die
Netzzuleitung. Der strom-
führende Leiter (L)
kommt von oben in die
erste (siehe Pfeil) und
der Nullleiter (N) kommt
in die zweite Klemme. Ist
der grün/gelbe Schutz-
leiter vorhanden, klem-
men Sie diesen in die da-
für vorgesehene untere
Klemme.
yAnschluss der
Verbraucherzuleitung
Die Verbraucherzu-
leitung (z. B. zur Leuchte)
besteht ebenfalls aus
einem 2- bis 3-poligen
Kabel. Der Anschluss
erfolgt an den Klemmen N
und L’. Der stromführende
Leiter des Verbrauchers
(schwarzes oder braunes
Kabel) wird in die mit L’
gekennzeichnete Klemme
montiert. Der Nullleiter
(blaues Kabel) wird in die
mit N gekennzeichnete
Klemme mit einem Null-
leiter der Netzzuleitung
verbunden. Der evtl. vor-
handene grün/gelbe
Schutzleiter wird in die
untere Klemme montiert.
Wichtig: Ein Vertauschen
der Anschlüsse führt im
Gerät oder Ihrem Siche-
rungskasten später zum
Kurzschluss. In diesem
Fall müssen nochmals
die einzelnen Kabel iden-
tifiziert und neu montiert
werden. In die Netzzulei-
tung kann selbstver-
ständlich ein Netzschal-
ter zum EIN- und AUS-
Schalten montiert sein.

yWall mounting
Warning: installation involves
a mains connection. With
230 V, a risk of electrocution
exists! Therefore, switch off
the power first and check
freedom from voltage with a
voltage tester. Installation of
the sensor involves work on
the mains power supply; this
work must therefore be car-
ried out professionally in
accordance with regulations.
Please note that the motion
detector must be protected
by a 10 A circuit breaker.
The installation site should
be at least 50 cm from a
light, since the latter's heat
radiation could result in false
triggering of the sensor. The
installation height should be
approx. 2 m.
Unscrew the fastening screw
5counterclockwise with a
screwdriver, slide down the
mounting plate 1and
remove it. Do not undo the
internal wiring to the terminal
block, but extract the block
by pulling it gently.
Insert the rubber plugs into
the mounting plate. Hold the
mounting plate against the
wall and mark the drill holes
(paying attention to the
wiring arrangement in the
wall), drill the holes and
insert the dowels.
In order to be able to per-
form a switching operation,
a power supply lead with at
least two phases must run
to the unit and a second
lead out to the consumer.
The two rubber plugs can
be pierced for this purpose
with a screwdriver. Two lugs
are provided on the bottom
of the wall fastener for sur-
face wiring. These can be
snapped off easily. After
passing the wiring through,
the mounting plate can be
screwed in place.
yConnection of the
mains lead
The mains lead consists
of a 2-3 phase cable.
L=phase conductor
(usually black or brown)
N=neutral conductor
(usually blue)
PE =protective-earth
conductor, if present
(green/yellow)
If in doubt, the cable must
be identified with a voltage
tester. Switch off the current
again. The wire terminals are
for the mains lead. The
phase conductor (L) is
connected from above to
the first terminal (see arrow)
and the neutral conductor
(N) to the second terminal.
If the green/yellow protec-
tive-earth conductor is pres-
ent, connect this to the bot-
tom terminal provided.
yConnection of the
service lead
The service lead (e.g. light)
likewise consists of a 2-3
phase cable which is con-
nected to terminals Nand L'.
The phase conductor of the
consumer (black or brown
cable) is connected to the
terminal marked L'. The
neutral conductor (blue
cable) is clamped to the ter-
minal marked N together
with the mains lead neutral
conductor. Connect any
green/yellow protective-
earth conductor to the lower
terminal.
Important: Getting the cable
connections crossed will
produce a short circuit in the
unit or in your fuse box. In
this case, the individual
wires must be re-identified
and reconnected. A mains
switch for ON and OFF
switching can of course be
installed in the mains lead.

Operation Introduction
Sensor
15
After the motion detector
has been connected and
fastened to its wall mount,
the system can be switched
on. Two setting options are
available after removing the
decorative ring 2.
Twilight setting
The desired motion detector
response threshold can be
adjusted continuously from
approx. 2 lux to 2000 lux.
When the adjustment screw
is at the left stop position 1,
this means daytime opera-
tion of approx. 2000 lux.
When the adjustment screw
is at the right stop position
6, this means twilight
operation of approx. 2 lux.
(Factory setting is daytime
operation.) The adjustment
screw must be at the left
stop position when setting
the detection zone and for
the functional test in
daylight.
Switch-off delay
(time setting)
The desired period of oper-
ation of the light can be
adjusted continuously from
approx. 10 sec. to a max.
of 15 min. When the adjust-
ment screw is at the left
stop position 1, this means
the shortest time of approx.
10 sec. When the adjust-
ment screw is at the right
stop position 6, this means
the longest time of approx.
15 min. (factory setting is at
min.). The shortest time set-
ting is recommended when
adjusting the detection zone
and performing a functional
test.
Assuming an installation
height of 2 m, the maximum
reach of the sensor is 12 m.
Optimum adjustment of the
detection zone is possible
according to needs. The
shrouds 6provided serve
to cover any desired num-
ber of lens segments and
individually reduce the
reach. Fine adjustment is
also possible by turning the
sensor housing 3by ± 80°.
The shrouds 6can be
divided vertically or horizon-
tally along the grooved divi-
sions, or cut with scissors
6. After removing the deco-
rative ring 2, the shrouds
are to be suspended on the
upper part of the sensor
lens. The decorative ring 2
is subsequently to be reap-
plied and the shrouds 6are
fixed firmly in place. False
switching by cars and
pedestrians, etc. is there-
fore ruled out, or risk areas
