All installation should be undertaken by a qualified electrician.
This equipment is powered by 3 AA-LR6 batteries.
Take care of using, exchanging and recycling batteries properly.
iPdomo recommends using Energizer Ultimate lithium batteries.
Pre-installation considerations
iPdomo Thermostat can operate together with your existing thermostat, it can
replace this one, or it can be connected to most new heating systems, provided
that the control over the boiler is carried out with a contact between 2 wires.
Option 1: Keeping your existing Thermostat
If you chose to retain your existing thermostat, you can operate your heating
system efficiently with iPdomo, and return the control to your thermostat at
anytime. You can change the mode control via the web interface, or using the
thermostat function button.

Option 2: Replacing your existing Thermostat / New installation
In case of replacing completely your existing thermostat or in new installations,
Although the Wi-Fi Router or Internet connection fails, the schedule will still
work. If you want to turn off the boiler manually, you can use the thermostat
Function button.
Wherever you decide to locate your iPdomo thermostat, you will need to obtain
a good Wi-Fi signal from your Router. Test your Wi-Fi signal quality at your
preferred location with a smartphone, tablet or laptop. If the signal is poor, you
can extend your wireless range by acquiring a Wi-Fi repeater.
1. Removing the existing thermostat
Switch OFF power to your boiler and check isolation before making
alternations. Then remove the old thermostat cover, unscrew the 2 wires coming
from your boiler, and remove the thermostat from the wall.
We recommend you to take a photo of cables of your thermostat before unscrewing.
If there are 3 wires, note which is which. Use the labelling on your programmer.

2. Connecting the iPdomo Thermostat
Place the iPdomo Wall Mounting Plate in the same position of the old
thermostat, and connect the 2 wires that come from the boiler to terminals 6-7.
If you need it, look at your boiler manual for connection details.
For 3-wire cases, connect the Live and Switched Live to terminals 6 and 7. The Neutral wire
needs to be re-connected on your old programmer, in case of still using it.
3. Reconnecting the existing thermostat (optional)
If you want to use on occasion your old thermostat, place it close to the iPdomo.
Use the supplied 2-wire cable for connecting your existing thermostat to 4-5
terminals of the iPdomo mounting plate. Then fix and mount the existing
thermostat on its mounting plate.
Leave some free space to the left of the iPdomo Thermostat to insert the USB Pen Drive later.
For 3-wire cases, connect the Live and Switched Live wires from your old thermostat to
terminals 4 and 5. The Neutral from boiler needs to be re-connected on your old thermostat.

Operating Modes
Activated : The iPdomo Thermostat controls your heating.
Deactivated : Your old thermostat controls your heating. (#3)
If batteries run out, the thermostat will automatically switch to Deactivated Mode.
(#3) In Deactivated Mode, if there isn't any manual thermostat, the boiler will stay off.
States
Awake:
The MODE LED Indicator will light or blink (it depends on the current operating
mode). It syncs with the cloud servers to send and receive data or commands in
real time. It will sleep again automatically after a minute.
Asleep (Ultra-Low Power State):
All LEDs are off, but if the thermostat is in the Activated Mode, it will continue
controlling your heating system, depending on the required temperature and the
stored programs. It wakes up and syncs with the Cloud every 18 minutes in
winter. (Remember to tick the winter months in the device configuration page).
Function Button
Deactivate:
Press and hold the Function Button for more than 5 seconds to reboot the device
and change to Deactivated Mode (if an old manual thermostat is installed, it will
control the boiler). All settings and programs will continue saved.
Wake and Sleep:
If the thermostat is asleep, it will wake up with a short pressing of the Function
Button. You can use this to load the USB Flash Device, or execute changes
immediately rather than waiting for the scheduled awakening. If the thermostat
is awake, a short press of the Function Button will make it sleep to save battery.

4. Click on 2nd step of the assistant: “Configure Wi-Fi”, and follow the
