5. WARRANTY

the f ult of M nuf cturer or repl ces f ulty components nd blocks. Rep ir is performed in the
M nuf cturer workshop.

2.2 Operation in network.
Controllers Z-5 Net m y be joined in network using interf ce RS-485 nd oper te under the control of
computer. Speci l softw re llows progr m nd m n ge their oper tion, downlo d events. But the decision
of providing ccess using c rd/key re t ken by controller, irrespective of whether it is connected to PC or
not.
Controllers re joined consequently one fter nother.

This mode blocks ll simple keys. Use of simple keys does not open the door nd induces series of short
sign ls. Exit from locking mode to gener l mode is performed using locking key (up to the series of short
sign ls) by short swipe of m ster key (series of short sign ls).

8. Включение режима "Ассерт" ( 5 кМ)
Accept mode is used for the record of ll swiped to cont ctor keys DS1990A.
In this mode the key swiped to the cont ctor induces door rele se nd simult neous record into the
cont ctor memory. The mode is used to recover users b se without collection of clients keys.
To enter into the mode use the key.
Swipe the m ster key to the connector five times for short period of time. In the moment of e ch swipe
connector gives sign ls confirming identific tion of ll m ster keys nd their number will correspond to the
number of swipes. In the moment of fifth swipe the connector will give five sign ls nd one long sign l
confirming entry to Accept mode. To exit from the mode swipe the m ster key. The sign l confirming such
exit is series of short sign ls.
* In c se of supply volt ge f ilure set before Accept mode is s ved fter switching-on of volt ge.
3. Adding of master keys ( к М, дМ)
Swipe the m ster key to the controller for short period of time (short swipe). In the moment of such
swipe the controller will give short sign l confirming identific tion of the m ster key, hold the c rd not
longer th n for 6 seconds t the re der (long swipe). In the moment of swipe the controller will give two
short sign ls indic ting the second swipe of the m ster key in progr mming mode nd in 6 seconds one
sign l indic ting entry to the mode of m ster keys dding. After th t remove the m ster key. To dd new
m ster keys swipe them in turn to the controller with n interv l not longer th n 16 seconds. After e ch
swipe of new key the controller gives short confirming sign l. If the key is lre dy recorded in the
memory s m ster key sign ls will not be given. Exit from the mode of m ster keys dding is performed
utom tic lly in 16 seconds fter the l st swipe. Controller confirms exit from the mode by series of 5
short sign ls.
4. Deleting of simple keys using master key ( 2 к М, дМ)
Swipe the m ster key to the controller for short period of time (short swipe). In the moment of the first
swipe controller will give short sign l confirming identific tion of the m ster key. In the moment of the
second swipe the controller gives two short sign ls indic ting the second swipe of the m ster key in
progr mming mode, hold the m ster key not longer th n for 6 seconds t the controller (long swipe). In the
moment of the third swipe, the controller will give three short sign ls nd in 6 seconds one sign l indic ting
entry into the mode of simple keys deleting. To delete keys swipe them in turn to the controller with n
interv l between swipes not longer th n 16 seconds.
After e ch swipe of the key to be deleted the controller gives short confirming sign l. If the key is not
recorded in the memory, the controller gives two short sign ls. Exit from the mode occurs utom tic lly in
16 seconds fter the l st swipe or with the swipe of the m ster key. Controller informs bout the exit from
the mode with series of short sign ls.
5. Deleting of the controller memory ( 3 к М, дМ).
Swipe the key to the controller for three time for short period of time (short swipes). At the moment of
the first swipe the controller will give short sign l confirming m ster key identific tion. At the moment of
the second swipe the controller will give two short sign ls confirming the second swipe of the m ster key in
progr mming mode. At the moment of the third swipe controller will give three short sign ls confirming the
third swipe of the m ster key, nd not more th n for 6 seconds swipe nd hold the m ster key to the
controller (long swipe). At the moment of the forth swipe the controller gives four short sign ls nd in 6
seconds series of short sign ls confirming deleting of the controller memory nd exit from progr mming
mode. After th t m ster key should be removed. Entry to progr mming mode occurs utom tic lly when
power is on.
* At the moment of deleting of the b se using m ster key the progr mmed rele se time is not deleted.
6. Release time programming (4 кМ)
Swipe m ster key to the controller four times for short period of time. В At the moment of e ch swipe
controller gives sign ls confirming identific tion of the m ster key nd their number will correspond to the
number of swipes. At the moment of the forth swipe controller gives four sign ls nd enters in the mode of
door rele se progr mming. Within 6 seconds from the l st swipe lock the door button for period required
for rele se. After the button rele se controller will give sign l nd record the time in the b se.
*If rele se button c nnot be set, cont cts No 4 nd No3 (e rth) close on e ch other.
7. Locking mode ( д Б )
In the locking mode the p ss ge is open using locking keys nd closed for simple keys.
Locking mode is set using locking key (using locking keys - p.2).
Locking key is used:
As simple ccess key in gener l oper ting mode (i.e. ccess is opened for ll simple nd locking keys
recorded in the b se)
To enter into locking mode (in this mode only locking keys c n open the door).
To enter into common mode
Locking key opens by rele se.
To enter into locking mode hold locking key t controller for 3 seconds till the long continuous sign l,
confirming entry into locking mode.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF PROGRAMMING MODE
To enter into required progr mming mode use short (less th n 1 sec) nd long ( bout 6 sec) swipes with
m ster key. Oper tion in progr mming mode is restricted with period fter the l st swipe ( bout 16
seconds), fter which controller comes to initi l condition informing bout it with series of five short
sign ls.
. Adding of simple keys ( д М).
Swipe nd hold m ster key (long swipe). At the moment of swipe controller gives short sign l confirming
identific tion of m ster key nd in 6 seconds nother sign l confirming controller entry into the mode of
simple keys dding. After th t m ster key should be removed. To dd new keys swipe them in turn to the
controller with the interv l between swipes not less th n 16 seconds. After e ch swipe of new key
controller gives confirming short sign l. If the key is lre dy recorded in the memory, it gives two short
sign ls. Exit from the mode occurs utom tic lly in 16 seconds fter the l st swipe or fter the swipe of
m ster key. After exit from the mode controller gives series of 5 short sign ls.
2. Adding of locking keys ( д М).
In the mode of simple keys dding it is required to swipe the selected key to the controller nd hold it for 9
seconds till the long sign l (i.e. first it gives short sign l nd fter th t long sign l confirming dding of
locking key).
If you do not dd other keys the controller gives series of short sign ls confirming exit from the
progr mming mode.
Use of socket straps No .
Controller is complete with one socket used for progr mming nd setting
into the mode of electromech nic l lock (tot l four positions).

Position No 2 CLR – to delete controller memory. For this purpose turn
off power, inst ll connection element nd turn on power. After deleting
controller gives series of short sign ls.

(sets def ult settings - 3 sec.)
Position No 3 ADD to dd simple keys without m ster keys.
For this purpose turn off power, inst ll connection element nd turn on
power.
After sign l controller is in the mode of simple keys dding (you m y
dd simple, locking keys without m ster key)
Position No 4

2. PROGRAMMING OF CONTROLLER MATRIX-II NET
2. Programming in operation in offline mode (without network connection)
First switch on (no keys in the b se).
Short sign ls within 16 seconds. They indic te th t the memory is deleted nd the mode of m ster keys
dding is set.
At the moment of sign ls swipe the key to the controller to record it into its memory s m ster key.
Termin tion of short sign ls confirms successful recording of the first m ster key.
To dd new m ster keys swipe them in turn to the controller with n interv l between swipes not exceeding
16 seconds. After e ch swipe of new key controller gives short confirming sign l.
Exit from the mode of m ster keys dding occurs utom tic lly in 16 second fter the l st swipe. After the
exit from the mode the controller gives five short sign ls.
Further m ster keys re used for progr mming.
If no keys were recorded turn on the controller g in.
Entry into the mode of m ster key recording when power is supplied occurs only if the b se is empty
(neither simple, nor m ster, nor locking keys).

Connection nd oper tion in st nd lone mode of controller Z-5R Net re the s me s for controller Z-5R.
Connection to network by RS 485 (double-wire connection)
Controller Z-5R Net llows connection of the following equipment:
- non-cont ct re der for proximity-c rds, emul ting key protocol DS1990А;
- non-cont ct re der – cont ctor;
- electrom gnetic lock, electromech nic l lock/l tch;
- door rele se button (norm lly open);
- extern l buzzer, extern l light-emitting diode ( n logue set t the controller pl te);
- open door sensor (norm lly open type).
