BATTERY CHARGING AND MAINTENANCE
The remote control is equipped with a high-capacity, maintenance-free rechargeable battery utilizing lead-gel
technology. Reliable operation can be expected for many years if you do not maltreat the battery.
A fully charged device can operate on battery power for up to 8 hours.
Charging is commenced by plugging in the power supply unit that ships with the product. Charging is
independent from the device being switched on or off. However, charging is faster when turning the remote
control off. Charging an empty battery takes about 12 hours. However, even after one hour of charging
considerable battery levels are reached.
OVERCHARGING GUARD
The device cannot be overcharged due to the integrated overcharging guard. You can leave it connected to
the power grid at all times if you wish.
DISCHARGING GUARD
Discharging a rechargeable battery totally can lead to permanent damage to the battery. We have integrated
a discharging guard to prevent this from happening. The device is automatically powered down when critical
battery levels are reached. You will see a flashing battery symbol on the display a few minutes before it is
powered down.
CAUTION: Do not store the remote control at temperatures below +5 degrees Celsius for longer periods of
time to ensure optimal life time of the rechargeable battery.
The song displays do not contain any parts that are sensitive to temperature so they may be exposed to the
cold. Proper operation is possible at temperatures from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
