Security
Prior to installation, operation, maintenance and service, all relevant personnel should carefully read
and understand the contents of:
•This manual
•Vacuum pump instructions
•Frequency converter manual if applicable
The instructions must be followed and should be stored close to the location where the machine is used.
Installation and operation must only be done by trained and qualified personnel.
To preserve the warranty of this central vacuum cleaner all instructions in this manual must
be followed and only Cevac AB approved parts and accessories used.
Purpose
This central vacuum cleaner is intended for use in general cleaning and sanitation only.
The capacity varies depending on the model. See specifications for details about your model.
The standard model central vacuum cleaner is not designed for the
absorption of water and other liquids or explosive or flammable
materials.

All models are equipped with frequency drivers as standard
4kw models can be equipped with direct start electrical cabinet.
Description Central vacuum cleaner consisting of vacuum pump, control cabinet /
frequency driver and frame.
Environmental In the design, great emphasis has been placed on the choice of materials
and manufacturing method. The central vacuum cleaner is 98% recyclable.
There are no solvents used, during either the washing, painting or color
mixing processes.

Warning
1. Before any work or service on the central vacuum cleaner power must
be turned off. This does not apply when backwashing the filter.
2. During installation, service, or other work or operation, such measures
must be taken that objects do not come into contact with the fan. This
can cause the fan to be damaged.
3. The standard model central vacuum cleaner is not suitable for
vacuuming wet or damp materials or dust. If water or similar
materials end up in the central vacuum cleaner it must be completely
dried before the power is turned on and machine is used.
4. Under no circumstances should the central vacuum be used
with burning, fiery, explosive or flammable liquids or
materials.
5. Vacuum pump cooling air intake shall under no circumstances be
covered.
6. Note that service, troubleshooting or repair of the central vacuum
cleaner and vacuum pump may only be performed by a qualified
professional.
7. Some dust can be harmful to health and / or environment. Check the
regulations in your workplace and use appropriate protection when
handling filters and dust bags.

Installation
1. The central vacuum cleaner must be placed/installed in a well-ventilated and
dry area.
2. The ambient temperature must not exceed normal room temperature. The
central vacuum cleaner must not be placed in explosive environments.
3. The space requirement must comply with central vacuum cleaner enclosure
class standards.
4. Ensure that there is enough space around and above the central vacuum
cleaner for maintenance and service.
5. The floor must be stable and level.
6. The central vacuum cleaner must be securely anchored to the floor because
of the risk of tipping.
7. The central vacuum cleaner must be connected to the main electric in an
approved fashion. Check the voltage before connecting.
8. A piece of flexible hose should be used to connect the piping to the system,
to prevent transmission of vibration.
9. Make sure that the central vacuum machine and piping are grounded to
prevent static shock.
10. Electrical work and service work on electrical parts may only be done by a
qualified professional.

Maintenance and service
1. Before inspection and service the power to the central vacuum cleaner
must be disengaged. This does not apply when backwashing the filter.
2.
Service to the pump must be done where the pump/machine was
purchased.
Note that any service or repairs to the electrical system and pump may
only be performed by a qualified professional.

Troubleshooting
This operation must be performed by a
qualified technician.
1. If the machine does not start in either ”HAND” or ”AUTO” mode.
a. Make sure that there is power to the machine.
b. Check the fuse in the cabinet and replace if necessary.
c. Check if the motor protection switch is released. Reset if this is the case.
d. If this happens again directly after a new start attempt assume that there is a short
circuit. Before attempting to start the machine again check the electric cabinet and
motor for possible short circuits.
2. If he machine only starts in ”HAND” mode.
a. Check for breaks in the building signal cable.
3. If yellow lamp ”FILTER” is lit (if applicable)
a. Clean or replace the filter.
4. If red lamp ”LEVEL” is lit. (if applicable)
a. Change dust bag. If this doesn’t help clean the lenses in the cyclone seperator with
a wet towel.
5. Bad suction
a. Check and clean or replace the filter. If this doesn’t help check the piping system
for leaks or clogs.
6. Strange sounds from the pump.
a. Cut the power immediately and contact your supplier.
