Notes
It’s normal for the Power Handle to
become warm while charging.
It’s okay to keep your izzo in the charging
stand when not in use—you won’t harm
the battery by overcharging.
A 12-hour charge will be needed if you
haven’t used your izzo for 3 months.
Power Handle Speed Modes
Ultra (Highest):
For polishing or when you need more
brushing power
Daily (Medium):
For daily brushing
Gentle (Lowest):

ºTo cycle between modes, repeatedly press
the ON/OFF/Speed Mode button within the
first 5 seconds of turning it on to select your
desired speed. After 5 seconds, pressing that
same button will turn the Power Handle off.
ºTo help stick to your new routine, the
Power Handle restarts in the same
mode from its prior use.
Is there a sequence I should follow
when using my izzo system?
It depends on your personal preference
and individual needs. We recommend:
Floss, Scale, Brush, Polish, Sanitize to keep
you smiling bright. The important thing
is to use all com-ponents as directed.

Get Brushing Changing the Brush Head
/Polishing Cup Head
ºFirst, rinse your mouth, wet the Brush, and add
your favorite toothpaste.
ºWe recommend putting the Brush Head in
your mouth before starting it up. Why? You
don’t want a mess!
ºMove the Brush Head in a circular motion
around your mouth. Be sure to cover the
outsides, the insides, and the chewing
surfaces. The bristles should just lightly touch
your teeth and gums.
ºBrush for 2 minutes. It’s easy with izzo’s built-
in timer, which pulses every 30 seconds to
remind you to switch from one quadrant to
the next. Plus, the Brush will automatically turn
off after 2 minutes.
ºTo clean your Brush Head, turn the Power
Handle on, point the Brush Head downward
45°, and rinse under a faucet. To clean the
inside of the Brush Head, run water over the
hole on the back for a few seconds. After you
remove your izzo from under the water, keep
your Brush running for a few more seconds
to expel any excess water. Wipe down as
needed and sanitize in your UVC Case before
your next use (see page 10 for details).
It’s all about the TWIST!

Step 2 Twist counterclockwise to unlock
Step 3 Pull the head off
To attach your Brush or Polishing Head:

It’s time to take your oral care to the next level. Hello whiter brighter
teeth. Goodbye surface stains!
Step 1:
First, set your Power Handle mode on
Ultra for the best results. Run it for 5
seconds to lock in the speed before
turning off.
Step 3:
Position the cup at a 90 degree angle to
the tooth surface and turn on. Focusing
on one tooth at a time, move the cup
over the entire tooth surface. For the best
results, spend only 3–5 seconds per tooth.
Put another dab of Enamel Polishing
Paste in the Cup Head when it runs out.
You may need to do this every 3–5 teeth.
Step 2:
Fill the Polishing Cup Head with a pea-
sized amount of Enamel Polishing Paste. Be
careful not to overfill; a little dab will do it.
Notes
We recommend polishing once per week.
Focus on the front surfaces of teeth
that are visible when you smile. To get
technical, that means the vertical front
(facial), back (lingual), and horizontal
biting surfaces of your teeth. When you
become a “pro,” you can try polishing
other areas as well.
For more information about polishing
go to izzosmile.com
Step 4:
Now that you have a clean mouth,
let’s make sure you clean and care for
your Polishing Cup Head just as well.
Follow Brush Head cleaning instructions
as outlined on page 6. Don’t forget to
use your UVC Sanitizer!

UVC sanitizing

Get Germ-Free Clean
It’s time to take cleaning to the next level with our UVC sanitizing
case that kills 99.9% of germs. In just 3 minutes, your Brush Head
and Polishing Cup Head will be cleaner than clean.
Sanitizing 101
Like most tech, the Sanitizer doesn’t love
water. Be sure to remove excess water
from the Brush Head or Polishing Cup
Head before it goes in the Sanitizer.
Press the latch button to open the
case and place the Brush Head or
Polishing Head facing the source of
light. The 3–minute sanitization will
begin automatically when you close
the case—just listen for a click! The
blue “smile” lets you know its working.
Yes, even Sanitizers need cleaning.
To do so, remove and wash the silicone
mat with water and then towel dry.
For the interior and exterior case,
all you’ll need is a gentle wipe with
a damp towel.
When you see the indicator light
flashing red, it’s time to recharge
via the USB-C cable. The case’s
indicator light will turn green when
fully charged.
Note
Opening the case during its cycle
will stop the sanitization process.
You can even store your Brush Head
or Polishing Cup Head in the UVC
Case in between uses. It makes a
great travel case too!
Note
The battery charge lasts about
2 weeks and takes about 2 hours
to charge.

Get Scaling
Ready to learn how to scale your teeth? YES! Good, because izzo
helps provide a deeper and more satisfying clean.
Scaling 101
Before you begin, remember the
scaler should only be used to remove
visible food debris and/or plaque from
between the teeth. The flat side of the
scaler can be used on the front and
backside of teeth and along the visible
border of the gums.
Note
Apply gentle pressure and be careful
not to insert the pointed tip below the
gumline or around loose fillings
or crowns.
When it comes to cleaning, you’ve got options.
Here are 3 easy ways to keep your Scaler on point:
ºRinse with warm water and wipe dry.
ºWipe with alcohol.
ºWash in a dishwasher.
A Clean izzo Is the Best izzo
We’ve already addressed routine cleaning, but here are a few other
things to keep your izzo in tip-top shape!
Weekly: Detach the Brush Head or Polishing Head from the Power
Handle at least once a week to clean the Power Handle thoroughly.
Point the Power Handle downward and rinse the Head connection
area under running water while the unit is on. Remove from water, and
keep it running (in a downward position) for a few seconds to allow the
“pumping action” to push out any fluid.
As needed: Clean the Charging Base with a damp soft cloth.
Note
Do not submerge the Power Handle in water. Allow it to dry completely
before charging.
Note
Unplug the Charging Base before cleaning and allow it to dry
completely before reconnecting to the USB Wall Charger.
