Theprecautionsgivenbelowconcerntheproperandsafeuseoftheinstrument,andareto
protect you and others from any damage or injuries. Please follow and obey these
precautions.
●Do not throw or swing the instrument.
The mouthpiece or other parts may fall
offhittingotherpeople.
●Do not modify the instrument. Besides
voidingthewarranty,modificationofthe
instrumentmaymakerepairsimpossible.
●Keep the instrument away from heat
sourcessuchasheaters,etc.Also,donot
use or store the instrument in any
extreme conditions of temperature or
humidity.
●Keep the oil, small parts, etc., out of
childrenʼs mouths and do maintenance
whenchildrenarenotpresent.
●Takecarenottodisfiguretheinstrument.
Placing the instrument where it is
unstablemaycausetheinstrumenttofall
ordropresultingindisfigurement.
●If the oils splash into the eye or mouth,
wash down immediately and get
checkedbyadoctor.

Applyadewdropsofvalveoilontothepiston.Donotapplytoomuch.
Returnthepistonslowlyandstraightlyintovalvecasing.Atthetime,makesurethe
numberstampedonthepistonisfacingthemouthpiece.
TurnthepistonrightandlefttofitValveGuideintotheslotontheValveCasing.
TightentheValveCap,thenmovethepistonupanddownafewtimestodistribute
theoiloverthepiston.
BlowintotheinstrumentfromtheMouthpieceReceivertocheckwhetheryourbreathgo
through.Ifyourbreathisblocked,makesurethenumberstampedonthePistonsmatch
thenumberstampedontheVlveCasing.

Pressthepistonthatcorrespondstothevalveslideyouwanttoclean,andremove
thevalveslide.Loosenthescrewbeforeremovingthe3rdslide.
Afterplaying,makesurethatmoistureisremovedfromtheinstrument.
Ifyouremovethevalveslidewithoutholdingthepistondown,
airpressureinthepipedropscreatingasuctionthatcancause
poorpistonfunctionordamagetotheinsideofthepipe.
Removethemoisturefromtheslide.
Returnthevalveslide,pressingthepistonthatcorrespondstothevalveslide.
PocketTrumpet:
Removethemoisture
fromtheWaterKeytoo.
Applyaslidegreaseonthevalveslidesregularly.
Beawarethatdustanddirtmaycausethevalveslidesfixed.
Asaroughguide,itshouldbedoneonceaweek,ifyouplaytheinstrumenteveryday.
Ifyouplaytheinstrumentonceamonth,applyanewgreaseeverytime.

remove the piston straight from
thevalvecasing.
Placethepistonsonthegauzeor
clothonwhereitisstable.
RemovetheBottomCaptoo.
Wrap and completely cover the
cleaningrodwithgauze.
Removemoistureanddirtfromthe
insideofthevalvecasings.
Checktheinsideofthevalvecasing
nottoleavelintofthegauze.

Gentlywipethesurfaceoftheinstrumentwithacleaningcloth.

Returnthepistonslowlyandstraightlyintovalvecasing.Atthetime,makesurethe
numberstampedonthepistonisfacingthemouthpiece.
TurnthepistonrightandlefttofitValveGuideintotheslotontheValveCasing.
TightentheValveCap,thenmovethepistonupanddownafewtimestodistribute
theoiloverthepiston.
Thetrumpetʼsvalvesaredesignedwithverylittleclearancebetweenthepistonandthe
valvecasingtherefore,itisveryimportantthattheseprecisionpartsbehandledwithcare.
Ifyoufeelthelackofpistonmovement,cleanthepistonandvalvecasing,thenapplyoil
immediately.

・Alwaysstoretheinstrumentinitscase.
・Donotstoretheinstrumentinanyextremeconditionsoftemperatureorhumiditysuchas
inthecar.
・Donotputtoomuchpressuretothecase.
Ifsomedirtcameintotheinstrument,oriftheinsideoftheinstrumentisverydirty,washthe
instrumentinwater.
Putsomewarmwater(30℃to40℃)intoabathortub,andblendseveraldropsofnatural
detergent.
RemovethePistonsandBottomCaps,thenremovethepistonshaft,spring,andvalve
guidefromthepiston.
Puttheinstrumentintothesoapwaterafterremovedthevalveslidesandwaterkeyfrom
theinstrument.
Withtheinstrumentremovedfromthewater,applysomesoapwatersolutiontoaflexible
cleanerandusethecleanertocleantheinsideoftheinstrumentʼspipes,valveslidesand
pistons
