Yourfloormachinewasprotecvelypackedtopreventdamageinshipment.Wesuggestthatuponremovingtheunitfromitscar‐
ton,carefullyinspectitforanypossibledamageintransit.Ifdamageisdiscovered,immediatelynofythetransportaoncompany
whodeliveredyourmachine.Weareunabletoactuponanyclaimforconcealeddamage;youmustoriginatetheclaim.

Thisfloormachineiswarrantedforone(1)yeartobefreefrommanufacturingdefectsduetoimperfeconsinworkmanshipand
materials.TheManufacturerwillexchangepartsforyourfloormachineintheeventofamanufacturingdefectasfollows:
PARTS:Neworcomparablerebuiltparts,foroneyearaeroriginalpurchaseandthreeyearsonmotorandtransmission.
Normalwearitemshaveawarrantyof90days.Normalwearitemsinclude:carbonbrushes,bearings,hoses,filters,gaskets,quick
connects,switches,solenoids,electricalpowercords,o‐rings,crossfingrubbergaskets,wheels,casters,oranypartdeemedasa
wearitembytheoriginalmanufacturer.
Contactanauthorizedservicecenterforwarrantyitemexchanges/repairs.Customerresponsibleforallshippingcosts.
IMPORTANTWARRANTYCONDITIONS:Apurchasereceiptorotherproofofdateoforiginalconsumerpurchasealsowillbere‐
quiredbeforewarrantyserviceisrendered.
Thiswarrantycoversnormaluseanddoesnotcoverdamagewhichoccursinshipmentorfailureresulngfromalteraon,acci‐
dent,misuse,abuse,neglect,orimpropermaintenance.
STATEMENT:Thiswarrantyisnottransferableandextendsonlytotheoriginalpurchaserwhenanewfloormachineispurchased
fromanAuthorizedDealer.Thiswarrantygivesyouspecificlegalrights,andyoumayhaveotherrightsthatvaryfromstateto
state.
SafetyInstrucons
ThismachineisdesignedtobesafewhenusedtoperformthefunconsspecifiedinthisOperator’sManual.Shoulddamageoccur
toelectricalormechanicalparts,Priortofurtheruse,themachineshouldberepairedbythemanufacturerorcompetentservice
centertoavoidfurtherdamagetothemachineorphysicalinjurytouser.Yourfloormachineisequippedwithasafetyswitchlock‐
outdevicedesignedforyoursafety.Donotaempttobypassordefeatthesafetylockoutdevice.Neveruseanydevicetolockthe
powerswitchtriggersintheONposion.
Thisfloormachineshouldbegroundedwhileinusetoprotecttheoperatorfromelectricshock.Thismachineisequippedwitha3‐
conductorcordanda3‐pronggroundedtypeaachmentcapplugtofitthepropergroundingtypereceptacle.Thegreen(orgreen
andyellow)conductorinthecordisthegroundingwire.Neverconnectthiswiretoanythingotherthanthegroundingblade.The
floormachineisprovidedwithanaachmentcapplugandisintendedforuseonanominal120voltcircuit.Ifaproperlygrounded
receptacleisunavailableagroundingadaptershouldbeinstalled,iftheoutletboxthathousesthereceptacleisgrounded.Besure
tofastenthegroundingtaptothefaceplatescrew.

FloorMachineApplicaons
Your1.5hpmachineisextremelyversale.Thisfloormachinecanbeusedtopolish,buff,scrub,strip,shampoo,sand,andgrind
surfaces.Usetheproperdriversorbrushesforthespecificjob.Aachmentslikeshampootanks,paddrivers,brushes,etccanbe
foundfromyourlocaldistributor.
PreparingtheMachine
Toaachthedriveblockorbrushorotheraachment,besurethehandleis“locked”intheuprightposion.
Laythefloormachineonitsbackwiththehandlelyingonthefloor,thisexposesthedrivingplateontheun‐
dersideofthefloormachine.Holdingthedriveblock,brushoraachmentinbothhandsandstraddlingthe
motorwithyourbacktothehandlebox,bendoverandfitthethreeslotsoftheclutchplate(buildintothe
backofthebrush)overthethreelugsofthedrivingplate.Turnthedriveblock,brushoraachmentcounter‐
clockwiseasfarasitwillgounlitisseatedintheready‐to‐useposion.CAUTION:Thisistheonlyproper
waytoinstalladriveblock,brushoraachment.NEVERputadriveblock,brushoraachmentonthemachinebyplacingitonthe
floorandmovingtherunningmachineoverit,orbyplacingthemachineovertheblockoraachmentandthenstarngthemo‐
tor.Returnthefloormachinetouprightposionandadjusthandletooperangposion.Recommendedhandleposionisclose
tothewaistwitharmsextendeddown.Lockthecamreleaseleverintoposion.

OperangtheMachine
Firstinstallthepaddriverandpad,brushorotheraachmentstobeused.Plugthemachineinasdirectedandlowerthehandletothedesired
operangheightandlockinplaceusingthecamleverhandle.Pushthesafetyswitchforwardandsqueezetheswitchtriggersbeneaththehan‐
dlegrips.Thisacvatesthemotorandstartstheblock,brushoraachmentinoperaon.Eachmeyoureleasethetriggersthesafetyswitch
willreset.Youwillneedtofollowthedireconabovetorestartthemachine.CAUTION:Whenleavingthemachineunaended,disconnectthe
wallplugandreturnthehandletothe“locked”uprightposiontopreventaccidentalstarng.
ToRight:raisehandleslightly.Thehigherthehandleislied,thefasterthemachinewillmovetotheright.ToLe:tochangedirecon,lowerthe
handleunlthemachinetravelstothele.Themorethehandleislowered,thefasterthemovementtothele.
TransporngtheMachine
Placethehandleintheuprightposion.Lockthehandlecamreleaselever.Tipthemachinebackandtransportonthewheels.
Maintenance
Onceamonthremovethemotorcoverandvacuumoutanydustordebriswhichhasaccumulatedonthemotor.Replacethemotorcoverby
sengitovertheholesinthehousingandreplaceallofthescrews.Checkandmaintaintheghtnessofallthefasteners.
WARNING:Donotover‐ghtentheswitchhousingscrews.Keepthemachinecleanespeciallyatthehandletubeandcollarsothehandletube
willmovefreelythroughthecollar.Inspectthecordforcuts,gashes,orlooseprongs;replaceasneeded.Disassemblyofthismotorvoidsthe
warranty.Improperdisassemblyandassemblyofthismotorcanpermanentlydamagethefieldorrotor.
Troubleshoong
MachineDoesNotRun:Thecircuitbreakerhastripped.Allowthecircuitbreaker2minutestocoolbeforereseng.Plugisbrokenorhasloose
contact.Replace.
Preventcircuitoverload:Checkthepadandchangeitifitisroughordirty.Spraybuffingorspraycleaningisnotasubstuteforscrubbingor
moppingafloor.Preparethefloorsurfacebeforespraybuffing.Eliminateanyextensioncordthatissmallerthan12/3wireorgreaterthan25
feetinlength.Unpluganythingotherthanthemachinefromthecircuitorlocateanothercircuit.
Machinewillnotstart:Circuitbreakerisnotreset.Resetbreaker.Plugisbrokenorhasaloosecontact.Replace.Circuitbreakerisdefecveor
weak.Replace.
Machinewillnotreachoperangspeed:Unpluganythingelseotherthanthemachinefromthecircuitorlocateanothercircuit.
Motorrunsbutpadorbrushdoesnotturn:Couplingisbroken.Replace.Couplingisnotcoveredunderwarranty.Donotaempttoplacearun‐
