ORIOR GRAND, This 2-way 2-unit
floorstander combines the silky and smooth high
range of a ribbon tweeter, and the extremely
detail and punchy bass of ceramic driver.
Incorporated with a patent design 360-degree
downward air dispersion port, it lends a sense of
spaciousness to the soundstage. This mini tower
impresses you not only with its sturdy cabinet, but
the amazingly huge soundstage that can be
created. It is a breakthrough, heavily build 2-
way speaker on its beauty and advanced design.
OWNER’S MANUAL
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the JAS Audio ORIOR GRAND line of speakers.
JAS Audio speakers are designed and manufactured to the highest quality
standards. The ORIOR GRAND line of speakers combines ribbon and
dynamic driver technologies to produce a line of world-class speaker in
performance and appearance.
The ORIOR GRAND line of speakers features a unique aluminum twin-
ribbon tweeter that produces extremely clean and quick transients as well as
enormous soundstage both in width and depth. The choice of dynamic
bass/midrange drive units for each model is diligently done in effort to allow
seamless integration with the twin-ribbon tweeter. The result is yielding the
lowest coloration and maximum tonal definition.

The tweeter of JAS ORIOR GRAND speaker is
protected with a Transparent-Protective-Sheet to
prevent damaging on the Tweeter Unit (Dispersion
Board + Driver Net)*.
Customers are recommended to remove the
Transparent-Protective-Sheet immediately before
using or installing on your listening system!
ORIOR GRAND Assemble Kit Setup
Each ORIOR GRAND Packing Box contains a set of ORIOR GRAND
Assemble Kit, which carries the feeding parts and accessories. Setup-
Procedure steps in following
1. Four oversized Aluminum-Bar-feeders need to be installed at corners
(Screws and Tools attached in kit). Well, ORIOR GRAND is ready
to lunch after turning up!
2. By turning the level screw (top of the copper-spike), the speaker can
be leveled where it stands. Spike discs use as an option, serve to
protect your flooring from the needle sharp spikes.
Caution: Do not over tighten the level-screws when installing the feet.
Doing so might risk breaking the bar feeder holes, and level-screws become
functionless. A removable warning label has been attached at the base of
each speaker already.

Two caution on your speakers’near placing:
I. Do not place any kinds of metal pieces, such as: keys, needles,
staples... etc. near or closed to the ORIOR GRAND＇s tweeter units,
because the magnetic field can cause a strong attractive force to
damage the speaker.
II. Do not use vacuum cleaner on the speaker drivers; on the other hand,
do not direct coupling the speaker drivers by strong air via
compression gun. Any extreme blowing may damage the speakers.
If you feel the speakers sounded very muffled and distant (abnormal); as if,
please double check all tweeter unit were covered by the Transparent-
Protective-Sheets or not?

Find the best setting that fit your own system,
listen to the different carefully by inserting a key
at the back switch and turn to the indicated
setting mark. Pair of switching keys have been
attached in the Orior Grand packing-box already.

Connections – Initial installation
The cables used to connect the speakers to the power amplifier can have a
significant effect on the sound of your audio system. Your authorized JAS
Audio dealer can recommend the appropriate speaker cables for your audio
system setup.
Each speaker has two terminals on the rear panel. The terminals are binding
posts that accept either spade lugs, pins and banana plugs.
Make sure the cables connected to both speakers are in phase with each
other: connect the (+) binding post on the amplifier to the (+) terminal on the
speaker, and the (-) binding post on the amplifier to the (-) terminal on the
speaker.
Speaker Placement
The JAS ORIOR GRAND speakers can produce excellent sound in any
location. Therefore you should use these guidelines as a starting point and
make minor adjustments to the position of the speakers and other objects in
the room until you find the combinations that sound best to you.
As a general rule, the distance between the front plane of the speakers and
the front wall of your listening room should be approximately 20% of the
total length of the room; the distance from each speaker to the closest side
wall should be about 20% of the total width of the room. The distance from
the listener＇s chair or couch to the wall behind the listener should be about
the same as the distance between the speakers and the front wall.
