PREFACE
Thank you for choosing our portable DVD player. This is a DVD player with excellent image and sound. You
can use it at home, in the office, in hotels, in cars, etc.
NOTICE
Non-professional staffs do not touch the laser lens. Please wash hands before cleaning up the laser lens or
go for professional maintenance sites, so as to avoid electrostatic breakdown or damage to the laser lens.

environment!

The lightning mark in a black triangle warns the user to be careful of
electrical shock because of high voltage contained inside.
The exclamation mark in a black triangle warns the user that important
instructions for operation and assistance are provided.
Laser product mark: This mark is on the rear panel of the device,
indicating that class-1 laser beam is weak that there is no radiation
hazard outside of the device.
LASER SAFETY
This set employs an optical laser beam system in the CD mechanism designed with built-in
safeguards. Do not attempt to disassemble. Exposure to this visible laser light beam may
be harmful to the human eye. This is a Class-1 laser product. Use of controls, adjustments
or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous laser light beam
exposure. This compact disc player should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except
qualified service personnel. The laser mechanism in the set corresponds to the stylus
(needle) of a record player. Although this product uses a laser pick-up lens, it is completely
safe when operated according to directions.

To disconnect the AC power cord, pull the plug out from the connector.
Please do not place the AC power cord close to any heat source.
Please do not place heavy objects on the AC power cord.
Please do not disassemble and repair AC power cord by yourself.
This player is class-I laser product and with “Class-I” remark.
This product contains a low-power laser device. In case service or internal-component adjustment is
needed, please contact nearby distributors and seek for professional technical help.
PRECAUTIONS AND MAINTENANCE
Please do not place the device in a sealed container to protect it from high temperature.
Please do not place the device under direct sunlight or close to any heat sources.
Please do not place the device close to objects with magnetic field.
Please do not place the device near liquid area. If incidentally liquid penetrates into the device, please
remove the plug immediately and seek for technician’s assistance.
Please place the device on a horizontal surface, and do not place heavy objects on top of the device.
Please use standby mode when the player is suspended. Please remove the AC power cord or lithium
battery if not being used in a long time.
Please do not put your fingers or other objects into the device.
The disk-drive read header will have dew drop under the following conditions:
1) The device is being opened for a long time.
2) In a room with steam or damp.
3) Move the device from a low to a high temperature environment.
In order to prevent fire, electrical shock, or device damage, do not use cleaning fluid or spray.
Please do not repair this DVD player by yourself.
The image quality might be reduced if there are muddiness or scratch on the LCD screen.

USING THE BUILT-IN BATTERY
PRECAUTIONS
High-capacity rechargeable lithium battery is built-in in this player, it is strictly forbidden to take the battery
apart by your own. Seek for professional technicians’ assistance to replace the battery for you.
Please do not throw the battery into fire or to any heat area; please also do not store the battery in any
area that is having high temperature.
Please do not remove the battery when it is in use or being charged.
Please do not connect the anode with the cathode of the battery directly as it may cause serious
battery damage.
Please do not have the battery the battery immerse into water or any other liquids; please keep the
battery away from damp area when storage it.
Please do not stab, hammer, or trample the battery.
If you want to have a rest or sleep, or the player is not to be used for a long time, please unplug the
power adaptor of the player and turn off the power switch to prevent battery damage, and any incident
caused by overcharging.
When lithium battery is being used on the device, it is advised to adjust the volume to the middle (small
volume shall save more battery power) to prolong the power consumption time of the battery. This is
also useful during your trip.
METHODS OF USING THE BATTERY
For first-time use, the battery power should be used up before recharging and the battery must be fully
charged for about 4 to 5 hours.
It can be used under an ambient temperature between 0°C and 40°C.

NOTE:
When you need to use REPEAT, A<->B, ANGLE, SLOW, PRGM, ZOOM, TITLE which are combined with
numbers, please press the “SHIFT” button to set it at “On”. To switch back to number function, please press
the “SHIFT” button again to set it at “Off.
OPERATING WITH THE REMOTE CONTROL
1. The remote control must point at the remote sensor in order for the DVD player to function correctly.
2. The remote control works best at a distance less than 5 meters from the DVD player and at an angle of
less than 30° horizontally from each side.

QUICK START
1. Connect the DVD player with the power source via the included power adaptor.
2. Flip opens the panel.
3. Press the “Open” button to open the disc tray cover.
4. Insert a disc into the disc tray with label side facing upward.
5. Align the center of the disc with the center of the disc tray and press down the disc gently and close the
disc tray cover
6. Set the power switch at “ON” to power on the DVD player.
7. Press the OK or Play / Pause button on the DVD player to start playing files in the disc.
8. Press the “Stop” button to stop playing.
PLAY MULTIMEDIA FILES
Please insert a USB disk or SD/SDHC memory card to the corresponding port for multimedia playback.
1. Play multimedia files under DVD mode (supports up to 32 GB).
Please insert the USB disk into the “USB (DVD)” port.
2. Play multimedia files under DVB-T (digital TV) mode (supports up to 32 GB).
Please insert the USB disk into the “USB (DVB-T)” port.
3. Play multimedia files in the memory card (supports up to 32 GB in DVD mode).
Insert the memory card into the memory card slot.
CONNECTING EARPHONE
1. Connect the 3.5 mm earphones into the earphone jack.
2. Adjust the sound volume at the suitable level.

CONNECTING TO EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT
If you would like to connect the DVD player with external equipment, please use the included AV cable for
the connection.
NOTE:
Before the connection it is suggested to turn off both the DVD player and the external equipment, or please
set the sound volume at a low level.

RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULT
UNDER DVD MODE
1. Press SETUP and the SETUP MENU appears on the screen.
2. Select Preference Page.
3. Use DIRECTION keys and select “Default” then press OK.
UNDER DVB-T MODE
1. In the System menu select “Restore Factory Default”.
2. Use Right / Left keys and press OK or Right key.
3. Enter the password (default password is “000000”) and press OK again to confirm. This option will
delete all preset settings and return to the factory default settings.

PLAYBACK FROM A DISC
HOW TO START PLAYBACK FROM THE MENU SCREEN
1. Press TITLE/MENU to access the menu screen.
2. Press DIRECTION keys to select the title.
3. Press the OK button and the DVD video player will start play-back from the title selected.
NOTE: You can also input the assigned number of the title to select it directly.
FAST FORWARD & FAST BACKWARD
You can fast forward or fast backward the file by the following order and speeds by pressing the fast
forward or fast backward buttons during playback if the file supports this feature.
To resume normal playback, please press the Play / Pause button.
PLAY IN SLOW-MOTION
You can play the file in slow motion by the following order and speeds by pressing the “Number 6 / Slow”
button during playback if the file supports this feature.
To resume normal playback, please press the Play / Pause button.
PLAYING BACK A DISC WITH JPEG FILES
1. Load the disc with JPEG files in the DVD player.
2. Use Up or Down key to select a folder and press OK or Play / Pause button to open the file.
3. Press the Repeat button to choose the preferred playback mode (repeat one or repeat all).
4. Use Up or Down button to choose the file you would like to play.
5. Press OK or Play / Pause button to start the playback.
6. During the playback, press STOP or MENU button to view the content.
7. If the disc is a DVD, press the ZOOM button on the remote control can change the size of the picture
by the order of 2x 3x 4x 1/2x 1/3x 1/4x normal speed.

LOCATING A SPECIFIC TITLE, CHAPTER OR TRACK
DVD discs are normally divided into titles which are sub-divided into chapters. VCDs and CDs are divided
into only tracks.
LOCATING A TITLE USING THE TITLE MENU
You can locate a specific title using the title menu function, if a DVD video disc contains a title menu.
1. Press the TITLE button and the screen will show the title menu.
2. Press the DIRECTION keys to select the preferred title (you can also locate the preferred tile by
pressing the assigned number by the number buttons on remote control).
3. Press the OK button and the DVD player will start playing from chapter 1 of the selected title.
NOTE:
You can also press or repeatedly to select the title or track.
PLAYING REPEATEDLY
This DVD player allows you to playback a specific TITLE, CHAPTER, TRACK, or SEGMENT repeatedly.
Please press the REPEAT button for this feature.

HOW TO REPEAT A SPECIFIC SEGMENT
1. Press the A-B button at the beginning of the segment in which you want to repeat playback (point A).
2. Press the A-B button again at the end of the segment (point B). Thus the DVD player will play the set
segment (from A to B) repeatedly.
3. Press the A-B button again can cancel this function.
PLAYING IN FAVORITE ORDER
HOW TO SET TITLES, CHAPTERS, OR TRACKS IN A FAVORITE ORDER
1. Press the PROGRAM button to enter the PROGRAM menu.
2. Use number keys to key in the preferred title and chapter.
3. Highlight “START” and press OK or Play / Pause button to start the program playback.
4. To cancel the programming, move the cursor to “STOP” and press OK or Play / Pause button.

SELECTING THE CAMERA ANGLE
This DVD player allows you to select from several different angles.
If the DVD disc was recorded with multiple angles, you have the option to change the camera angle of the
scene you are watching.
When you playback a scene recorded with multiple angles, press the SHIFT first and Number 4 / ANGLE
button. Press the Number 4 / ANGLE button repeatedly to change the angel.
SETTING THE PARENTAL LOCK
You can use the parental lock function only with DVD discs that are equipped with the parental lock feature.
SETTING THE PARENTAL LOCK
DVD video discs equipped with the parental lock function are rated according to their content. The contents
allowed by a parental lock level and the way a DVD disc can be controlled may vary from disc to disc.
For example, if the disc allows, you could edit out violent scenes unsuitable for children and replace them
with more suitable scenes, or lock out playback of the disc all together.
1. Press SETUP and the SETUP MENU appears on the screen.
2. Select Preference Page.
3. Use DIRECTION keys and select “Parental” and press OK or PLAY/PAUSE.

4. Select ratings and press PLAY/PAUSE.
5. Enter your password then press PLAY/PAUSE (default password is 123456).
6. Press SETUP to exit.
TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD
1. In the setup menu, highlight the lock icon (the 3rd one on the top) and enter it.
2. Enter old password.
3. Enter new password.
4. Re-enter to confirm your new password.
5. Press OK or PLAY/PAUSE.
6. Press SETUP to exit.
CUSTOMIZATION SETTINGS
This DVD player allows you to customize your personal settings.
1. Press SETUP button.
2. Press DIRECTION keys to select the item for customization and press OK or Play/Pause to enter the
setting.
3. After the setting is done, press SETUP to exit the menu.
