IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read completely before beginning. If you feel you do not have adequate electrical wiring experience, have this installed by
a qualied licensed electrican.
All electrical connections must be in accordance with local codes, ordinances and the National Electric Code. This product
operates on 120V AC; always conrm the maximum wattage of the linear xture does not exceed the maximum wattage of
the circuit it is connected to. If you are unfamiliar with methods of installing electrical wiring, secure the services of a qualied
licensed electrician.

Prior to starting the installation, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or removing the appropriate
fuse. (Turning off power using the light switch is not sufcient to prevent electrical shock).

1A-A Plug in MLX-PC or MLX-PC-HW into MLX xture’s
input port and secure power connector to xture with
provided mounting screws with a mini-phillips screwdriver.
1 B-B Top feed cable is pre-wired onto MLX xture
Single Pendant Installation
End feed xture Insert: MLX-MEC into MLX’s output
port. Top feed xture insert: MLX-MEC into MLX’s
output port and insert MLX-FEC into MLX’s input port.
Multiple Fixtures Installation Insert (1) MLX-DC or (1)
MLX-CC to the output connection of all connecting xtures.
For the last connecting xture. Insert MLX-MEC to the
output connection.
2Based on building material of intended mounting surface,
determine the best mounting method. Each MLX xture
requires (2) MLX-SCK for installation, recommended
distance between each MLX-SCK is determined by
MLX xture’s length.
2 A-A Drill a 1/4” hole in mounting surface and make sure
the depth is at least 1/4” past the length of the plastic
anchor. Insert plastic anchor in drilled hole. Insert mounting
screw through COUPLER MOUNT and screw into plastic
anchor. Repeat the process for second COUPLER MOUNT,
then secure COUPLER with CABLE to COUPLER
MOUNT by hand.
2 B-B Drill a 1/8” pilot hole and fasten mounting screw and
COUPLER MOUNT on to mounting surface. Repeat the
process for second COUPLER MOUNT.

4 Bring MLX xture up to where CABLES are installed. Insert
CABLE into CABLE GRIP by pushing down on the spring
locking mechanism, pull out CABLE from exit hole on
CABLE GRIP, release spring mechanism on CABLE GRIP
when desired height is reached. Repeat the process with the
second CABLE. Adjust as needed to ensure xture is level.
CABLE SUSPENSION (LINEARLY CONNECTED) INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
5 Installation of Multiple Fixtures with MLX-DC
Plug in (1) MLX-DC between every (2) MLX xtures that will
be connected. Slide in T-NUT BAR as illustrated onto the slot on
top of MLX xture at the output side.
5 A-A Match and insert RIGID PLATE mounting holes to
T-NUT BAR’s screw posts. Partially secure NUT on T-NUT
BAR’s screw posts, do not tighten.
5 B-B Connect second MLX xture via input port to direct
connector in rst MLX xture
5 C-C Slide RIGID PLATE and T-NUT BAR to the center of 2
connected MLX xtures. Tighten nuts on T-Bar with a NUT DRIVER.
Follow STEP 4 on hanging instructions.
6 Multiple Fixtures Connected with MLX-CC
Follow STEP 4 on hanging instructions then proceed to below
instructions
Plug in CONNECTING CABLE to input and output port to power
adjacent MLX xtures.
3 A-A Attach CABLE GRIP to T-NUT MOUNT, do not tighten
all the way.

INSTALLING HANGING CABLE
1Based on building material on intended mounting surface,
determine the best mounting method. Each MLX xture
requires (2) MLX-SCK for installation, recommended
distance between each MLX-SCK is determined by
MLX xture’s length and numbers of xtures connected
as recommended in STEP 2
1 A-A Drill a 1/4” hole on mounting surface and make
sure the depth is at least 1/4” pass the length of the
plastic anchor. Insert plastic anchor in drilled hole. Fasten
mounting screw and COUPLER MOUNT into the plastic
anchor. Repeat the process for second COUPLER MOUNT,
then secure COUPLER with CABLE to COUPLER
MOUNT by hand.
1 B-B Drill a 1/8” pilot hole and fasten mounting screw and
COUPLER MOUNT on to mounting surface. Repeat the
process for all COUPLER MOUNT needed for installation.

4 Arrange connecting xtures side by side, making sure all input ports are together on one side and all output ports are on the other. Align
and place MLX-XB over T-NUT, secure MLX-XB with NUT using a NUT DRIVER.
3 Insert (2) T-NUT onto the slot on top at the ends of each connected MLX xture. Place T-nut 4 inches away from end of MLX
xture.

7 Bring side-by-side connected MLX xture up to where CABLES are installed. Insert CABLE into CABLE GRIP by pushing down

POWER DRILL WITH:
1 Plug in MLX-PC or MLX-PC-HW into MLX xture’s
input port and secure power connector to xture with
provided locking screws with a mini-phillips screwdriver.
Single Fixture Installation Insert MLX-MEC into MLX’s
output port.
Multiple Fixtures Installation Insert MLX-DC or MLX-
CC into the output port of all connecting xtures, except
for the last connecting xture. Insert MLX-MEC to the
output port of the last connecting xture.
2Based on building material on intended mounting
surface, determine the best mounting method. Each
MLX xture requires two MLX-MC for installation.
Recommended distance between each MLX-MC is
determined by MLX xture length as noted.
2 A-A Drill a 1/4” hole on mounting surface and make sure
the depth is at least 1/4” past the length of the plastic
anchor. Insert plastic anchor in drilled hole. Screw self-
tapping screw and MLX-MC into the plastic anchor.
Repeat the process for second MLX-MC, then snap in
MLX xture on to the two MLX-MC.
2 B-B Drill a 1/8” pilot hole. Screw self-tapping screw and
MLX-MC into mounting surface. Repeat the process for
second MLX-MC, then snap in MLX xture on to the
two MLX-MC.
3 Multiple Fixture Installation Once all the connecting
MLX xtures are mounted on MLX-MC, connect (1)
MLX-DC or (1) MLX-CC to every (2) connecting MLX
xtures.
