CONTROL PANEL
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
• Remove all packaging materials and wipe cooking plates with
a damp cloth. When your wafe maker is new you may notice a
slight smoking effect or odour. This is normal with any appliance that
heats up and will not reoccur. This does not affect the safety or your
appliance.
•It is recommended that you discard the rst wafe made on your
new Wafe Maker.
NOTE:
• This appliance is intended for indoor use only.
• CAUTION: To ensure continued protection against risk of electric
shock, connect to a properly grounded power supply only.
SHORT POWER SUPPLY CORD
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer extension
cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
If a long extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children
or tripped over accidentally. If the supply cord is damaged it must be
replaced by one supplied by JM Posner or an authorised agent.

USING YOUR WAFFLE MAKER
1. The temperature on the display is Celsius.
2. Close the wafe maker and plug into Mains wall outlet, turn the on/
off switch on the side of the wafe maker to the on position. After
pressing the ON/OFF switch on the Display Panel you will see the
display go on, indicating that the Wafe Maker has power and is
ready for preheating. The power will remain ON until you unplug the
unit or switch the ON/OFF button again.
3. Set the desired temperature for making your wafes by pressing
up or down on the temperature buttons. The temperature will be
displayed on the panel. When cooking wafes the temperature of
the plates must always be over 170 degrees.
4. Until your wafe maker reaches the set temperature the “warming”
light will be illuminated and once your wafe maker reaches the set
temperature the ready light will come on.
5. When the desired set temperature is reached the ready light will
go off and on periodically, this is normal and is the Wafe Maker
keeping to the desired temperature.
6. Pour in just enough wafe mix to ll the lower wafe plate so that
the peak areas of the plate are covered. If necessary, use a spatula
to spread the wafe mix into the corners of the moulds. DO NOT use
oil on the plates as this will create carbon which is hard to remove
from a non-stick surface. The Auto Start Wafe Maker is preset to 3
minutes and 30 seconds standard cooking time. If you would like to
adjust the cooking time press the up/down time adjust buttons.
(NOTE) At the end of the cooking cycle the timer will stay at the
adjusted time of the previous cycle.
7. Close your wafe Maker and immediately turn anti clockwise 180º,
this will automatically start the timer. Once ready turn in a clockwise
direction 180º so that you can re-open your wafe maker and reset
the timer automatically.
CAUTION: If your wafe maker is opened without re turning 180º the
timer will not reset.
CAUTION: Opening too soon will cause unbaked wafes to split,
and make them difcult to remove.
8. If you want darker wafes, close the lid and continue cooking,
checking every 30 seconds.
9. Remove wafes from the plate with a non-metallic utensil.
10. For best results on your next wafe, wait until the ready light switches
off before pouring in new wafe mix.
11. When not using your wafe maker ,but leaving it heated on standby
the lid must be kept open to avoid damaging the non stick surface.

7
12. When you are nished baking, press the ON/OFF switch to turn off
your wafe maker, turn the switch on the side of the wafe maker
to off and unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Leave your wafe
maker open to allow to cool. After cooling, the plates may be
wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Over the years, we have listened to our customers
and consequently improved our products in
order to match their needs in everyday working
life. We specialise in Chocolate Fountains,
Popcorn makers, Belgian Chocolate, Wafe
Makers and many more products.
Our aims are simple, be fair and be honest. This
is in terms of pricing, quality and the service we
offer, as we have all been customers of similar
products. Not only do we love what we do,
we’re also keen advocates of the products
we sell, this is simply by us tasting and trying the
products too. But most importantly to us, we
want you to enjoy the products as much as we
do. If our customers ever have a problem with a
product, we try to help through repairing them
or by offering after sales care by telephone or
email, we are always happy to hear from you.
We started when owner Justin rented chocolate
fountains to businesses and quickly discovered
they would prefer to have their own to use
on a daily basis. He soon found himself selling
chocolate fountains to businesses, but then
discovered they also wanted other products
such as popcorn machines and wafe makers,
this lead to JM Posner LTD being created and
we haven’t looked back.
