Important: First read the instructions through carefully, then
start assembly. Together with the owner and the installation
specialists, determine the exact fitting position in the shop.
Various layouts are possible, depending on available space in
the shop and the preferred method of use. Please use the rele-
vant rotating area plan according to the number of and the
distances between the individual stations. It contains all the
necessary dimensions.
Place the floor ring on the predetermined position. Use
the floor ring as a template for the drilling work. (arrow in
direction of mirror).
Drill holes for cold, warm and waste water, also for the floor
attachment. In direction of mirror: left = cold, right = warm.
With a spirit level, fix the floor ring in the correct position, using
rawlplugs and screws which are suitable for the floor. (protruding
max. 30 mm above the finished floor surface).
R 1/2" pipes for warm and cold water, and 40 mm for waste
water through the floor. Screw cold and warm water taps, using
only the seals supplied, into the R 1/2" pipe, through the floor
ring. There should be a distance of 65 mm from the taps to the
middle. The height of the cold and warm water taps should be
max. 50 mm above the finished floor surface.
After checking the installation, empty both R 1/2" pipes and
waste pipe, so that they can be secured against inadvertent
turning.
Adjust the installation to a water pressure of 3 - 5 bar for a pressure
check of 8 bar. After installation has been completed, it is most impor-
tant to rinse out the pipes thoroughly. If several units are necessary, a
central stop cock is necessary. This should be readily accessible
from inside the shop. Assembly instructions are for one indivi-
dual unit. If several units are necessary, the pipe cross-secti-
on should be correspondingly wider (if necessary with a ring
main).
Important: water pressure exceeding 5 bar must be regulated by a
pressure reducing valve. As a pressure reducing valve is used for
warm water boilers, this may be fitted when the general water supply
is installed. So that fluctuations in temperature may be avoided,
both volume and pressure of the water must be identical for both
warm and cold water.
Temperature:
maximum 70° C (warm water supply)
recommended 60° C (energy saving mode)
Hint for the owner:
Up to this point, the fitter must carry out, check and guarantee the
installation. Only the fitter is responsible for failures in the installati-
on. The manufacturer of the equipment offers no guarantee for the
work carried out.

Place the washing unit on the assembly ring and screw in, using
the 4 M 10 x 20 screws, which should be greased, together with
the washers, as supplied.
Connect the universal drain trap to the waste water pipe and
the waste water system. Screw the warm water hose (red) and
the cold water hose, with filter seals, onto the corresponding
taps. Care should be taken to ensure that stop cocks and pressu-
re hoses are not turned at the same time.
Pass the rubber protective ring over the column.
Fit the washbasin with pivot by turning gently, holding at a level
position, in the pivot housing. Please note: under no circum-
stances should it be tilted! Turn off the mixer tap. Open the
stop cocks inside the conic pedestal and check for leaks, with the
mixer tap still turned off. Check the water from the mixer tap.
Warm and cold water supply must correspond to the coloured
symbols on the mixer tap.
Push the stainless steel pipe with the decorative panel
upwards, and hang onto the pivot below the washbasin by
means of the clips, turning clockwise. Caution! The decorative
panel must always be below the neck edge of the washbasin.
If necessary, turn the stainless steel pipe 180°.
Assembly of the plastic shell. Place both half-shells around
the conic pedestal and press together, pulling the protective
rubber ring downwards onto the ring groove.
Tilting mechanism: the washing unit is equipped with a tilting
washbasin. The height of the neck edge may be adjusted by
tilting. The tilting mechanism may be readjusted by using a 6 mm
Allen key. To do so, detach the stainless steel pipe with its
decorative panel by turning to the left (anti-clockwise) and
pushing downwards. To readjust the brake, a 1/4 to max. 1/2 turn
with a 6 mm Allen key is sufficient. Turn to the right: stiffer, turn
to the left: looser.
Carry out a final check of the complete unit. Staff using the unit should
be given instruction regarding its technical and functional use by the
fitter.
Hint for the owner:
The fitter must guarantee the installation work which has been carried
out. The manufacturer of the equipment offers no guarantee for this
work.
Turn off the stop cocks after closing time!
