VERTICAL STEAM
IRON
SAFETY WARNINGS
- These instructions are
highly important, please
read this instruction
manual before using the
device and save it for
future reference.
- JOCCA is only
responsible for proper
use of this
product as describe in
this manual.
- Before using the device
for the first time, unpack
and verify that it is in
perfect condition, if not,
do not use the device
and go to JOCCA as the
warranty covers all
manufacturing defects.
- This product is only
suitable for domestic
use.
Do not use the device
outdoors. Do not leave
the
device upon exposure to
outside factors such as
rain, snow, sun, etc.
- This appliance can be
used by children of 8
and
above, and people
with reduced physical,
sensory
or mental capabilities or
lack of experience or
knowledge if they are
supervised or instructed
in
an appropriate and safe
way about the use of the
appliance and
understand the hazards
involved.
Any cleaning and
maintenance must be
carried
out by the user or if they
are carried out by a child
of 8 or above they must
be supervised.
- Keep the appliance
and its cable out of the
reach of children under
8 years old.
- Children should be
supervised to ensure
they
do not play with the
device.
- Should you need to put
the device down
while using it, make sure
the surface is able to
withstand high
temperatures, is stable,

- If the power supply
cord or the plug are
damaged, do not use
the appliance or try

service where they will
replace it correctly for
you.
- Do not pull the cable
to unplug the appliance
from the mains, always
pull from the plug.
- For your safety and for
the appliance to work
correctly, always use
JOCCA spare parts and
accessories.
- Do not leave the
appliance on or near
a hot gas or electric
burner; next to a hot
oven or a
microwave oven.
- Do not wrap cord
around the device. Do
not
allow cord touch hot
parts of the device.
- Do not leave product
unattended.
- Unplug the appliance
from electrical outlet
after you have finished
using it, before cleaning
it, when changing
accessories or when you
find
it unattended.
- This device will only be
totally disconnected
when it is unplugged
from the mains.
- Do not use the
appliance with wet
hands or
bare feet.
- When you need to stop
ironing and leave, first
unplug the device from
the electrical outlet. Do
not leave the iron
unattended while
connected to power
supply.
- Always disconnect

emptying the water
tank.

tank is properly closed.

- Disconnect the device
from power supply and
empty the water tank
after you finish ironing.
- This appliance releases
steam and might cause
burns. Do not direct
steam towards animals
or people. Do not iron
clothing while wearing.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Remove all the packaging before
using the device for the first time.
- Upon the first use, a small amount
of smoke and smell might be
generated. They will very quickly
disappear. As for steaming function,
when using it for the first time, do
not try it out on fabric, there might
be some dirt in the steam chamber
that can stain your clothing.
- Disconnect the device from power
supply before filling or emptying the
water tank.
- Fill the water tank up to the MAX
mark.
- Connect the device to power
supply and make sure the tank is
closed properly.
- The flashing indicator blinks to tell
the device is heating up. Once the
indicator stops blinking, the
device is ready to use.
- Place the piece of clothing you
want to iron on a hanger. Never iron
clothing while wearing.
- Press Steam release button and
hold the garment with your hand
while making vertical movements
along the clothing.
-Press the Continuous Steam
Release Button if you do not want to
have to constantly press the Steam
Release button while ironing.
FILLING THE TANK
-This device can use clean tap water
whose hardness is higher than 17
dh. Use of distilled or de-mineralized
water may prolong service life of
the device.
-Water tank capacity is
approximately 280 ml; it is easy
to control since the tank itself is
transparent.
- The types of water mentioned
below cannot be used with this iron
due to organic residues or mineral
elements it may contain, which in
turn might cause splashes, yellowish
color or drastically shorten service
life of the device.
- Do not use water from dryers,
scented or soft water, refrigerator,
battery or air conditioning water,
distilled water or rainwater.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
- Make sure that the appliance is
disconnected from the power supply
before cleaning.
- Allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it.
- Do not use abrasive detergents
or products that could damage the
appliance. Simply clean the surface
with a wet cloth.
- Do not immerse the appliance in
water or any other liquid.
- Store the device in a dry place after
it cools down.
