Battleships

Instructions A game for 2 players.
Object of the game To target and sink all of your opponent’s ships.
Preparation The players should sit opposite each other with the play unit
between them.
Share the pegs equally between the two players, separate the red pegs
into one compartment and the white pegs into the other.
Each player places their ships on the horizontal grid in front of them.
The ships can be placed anywhere on the grid in either a vertical or
horizontal position.
Decide which player is going to start.
How to play Each player takes turns to shoot at their opponent’s ships, by giving
a reference point on the grid that they want to target.
The opponent finds the point that has been targeted and declares
either a ‘hit’ or a ‘miss’.
The firing player records the response by using a red peg for a ‘hit’
or a white peg for a ‘miss’.
If the ship has been hit, the player whose ship has been hit must
place a red peg in the relevant space on that ship.
How to win The first player to hit and destroy all of their opponent’s ships is the winner.
Warning! Not suitable for children under 3 years.
Small parts - Choking hazard.
Remove all packaging / tags before giving to a child.
