Site Selection, Inspection and Safety
The section of the roof selected for placement of the antenna must be thoroughly inspected and confirmed to be structurally sound and in good

also be aware of the danger of live electrical cables either above or beneath the roof and building cladding. An approved earth leakage protection
safety device must be used when drilling into the roof structure.
If in doubt, please do not carry out this installation. Please consult a qualified antenna installation technician, who is a professional, endorsed and
has the right equipment to conduct the installation safely.

Assembly - Step 3
Trim the rubber boot to suit your particular
type of coaxial cable. Please refer to the
diagram below, where the rubber boot
needs to be trimmed to suit RG6 Quad
Shield cable.
Note: A nice neat trim of the rubber boot
will minimise water ingress.
RG6 Quad Shield.
We recommend the use of RG6 Quad Shield. Slide the rubber boot onto the cable. Connect the
F Male connector (not included) to the antenna balun above. Put a loop in the cable as shown
above so water does not travel down the cable. Then proceed to tie off the cable to the mast
and connect the antenna to the distribution system or directly to the television outlet.
