1 Unpacking the Product
• Remove everything from the box and identify the parts using Figure 1.1. (not to scale)
A: highchair,B:tray,C: tray insert and documents (not shown).
NOTE: The tray and tray insert come fully assembled on the product.
• Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials

Adult assembly is required for this product. No Tools Required
2 Unfolding the High Chair
• Keep children away from high chair while unfolding.
• Pull upward on the seat back until the high chair is fully erect and locked into position. See Figure 2.1.
• Push forward on the rear of the seat back to ensure the high chair is fully locked into position.
NOTE: Do not pull upward on the TRAY when unfolding the high chair. The seat is designed to be opened by pulling up on the seat back.

3 Installing/Removing the Tray
•Toinstallthetray,positionthetraywiththecurvesidefacingtheseat.See Figure 3.1.
• Lineupthegroovesunderthetraywiththerailsonhighchair,pushthe2triggersfoundunderthetray(See Figure 3.2) then slide the tray
into one of the 4 tray positions. See Figure 3.3.
NOTE: Use caution when closing the tray with the child seated inside the high chair and always ensure that the crotch restraint below the
trayispositionedbetweenthechild’slegs.
• Toremovethetray,pushthe2triggersandslidethetrayawayfromthehighchair.
!WARNING
The child should be secured in the restraint system at all times.
The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair.

4 Using the Tray Insert
The tray insert is removable and dishwasher safe.
• Toremovethetrayinsert,pulloutwardandupwardonthereleasetabsonbothsidesofthetrayinsert.See Figure 4.1. Be sure to lift the
tray straight up to avoid spills.
• Toattachthetrayinsert,tthetrayinsertintothetrayuntilbothsidessnapintoplace.
5 Securing the Child in the Seat
NOTE: Before placing a child into the seat ensure that the 5 point harness is attached to the high chair and that the buckle operates
properly. See Figure 5.1.
• Separate both of the male buckles from the main buckle by squeezing in on both sides of the main buckle. See Figure 5.2.
• Carefullyplacethechildinthehighchairwiththeshoulderstrapsovertheirshouldersandchest.Then,placethecrotchstrapbetweenthe
child’slegs.
• Bringbothmalebucklesaroundthechild’swaistandinserttheendsintothemainbuckle.Ensurethattheysnapintoplace.See Figure
5.3.Tightenthewaistbelttobesnugaroundthechild’swaist.
• Theshoulderstraps,waiststrapsandcrotchstrapmaybeadjusted.

6 Folding the High Chair
NOTE: The high chair can be folded with the tray and tray insert attached.
• Keep children away from high chair while folding.
• Pull up on the 2 release triggers located on both sides of the rear of the seat. See Figure 6.1.
• When you pull on the triggers the highchair will automatically start folding. Push the seat forward to complete the fold
•Tocarrythehighchair,grabthehandleontherearoftheseatbottom.
Maintenance
Allofthettings,snaps,locks,rivets,andotherhardwareandplasticpartsonthehighchairshouldbeinspectedperiodicallytoensurethat
they are secured properly and not damaged or malfunctioning. The safety harness should also be inspected periodically to ensure that
theyaresecuredproperlyandnotloose,tornorotherwisedamaged.Allmovingparts,suchasthetrayandhingesshouldalsobechecked
periodically to ensure they are operating properly.
Anymissing,broken,orworncomponentsshouldbereplacedimmediately,andthehighchairshouldnotbeuseduntiltheyarereplaced.
Onlyoriginalmanufacturer’scomponentsshouldbeused.Ifneeded,pleasecontactJoovyatourtoll-freephonenumber.
Cleaning
Towashthetrayinsert,usewarmwateronaspongeorcleanclothwithmildhouseholdsoapordetergent.Allowtheinserttodrycompletely
beforeusingit.Useacleandryclothtowipethewoodtray.Donotusewater,soapordetergent.

3 Installation/retrait du plateau
•Pourinstallerleplateau,positionnezleplateauenplaçantlapartiecourbéefaceausiège.Voir image 3.1.
• Alignezlessillonssetrouvantsousleplateauaveclesrailsdelachaisehaute,poussezsurlesdeuxtouchesdedéclenchementse
trouvant sous le plateau (Voir image 3.2)etglissezensuitelaplateaudansl’unedes4positionsdeplateau.Voir image 3.3.
NOTE:Faitespreuvedeprudencelorsdel’installationduplateaualorsquel’enfantsetrouvedanslachaisehaute,etassurez-vous
toujoursquel’élémentderetenuepourl’entrejambeestpositionnéentrelesjambesdel’enfant.
• Pourretirerleplateau,poussezsurlesdeuxtouchesdedéclenchementetglissezleplateauhorsdelachaisehaute.

4 Utilisation du plateau amovible

• Pourxerleplateauamovible,placezleplateauamovibledansleplateaujusqu’àcequelesdeuxcôtéss’enclenchentenplace.
5 Attacher l’enfant dans le siège
NOTE: Avantdeplacerunenfantdanslesiège,assurez-vousqueleharnaisen5pointsestxéàlachaisehauteetquelabouclede
ceinture fonctionne adéquatement. Voir image 5.1.
• SéparezlesdeuxemboutsmâlesdelaboucleprincipaleenappuyantsurlesdeuxcôtésdelaboucleprincipaleVoir image 5.2.
• Placezsoigneusementl’enfantdanslachaisehaute,lessanglesd’épaulesplacéessursesépaulesetsapoitrine.Ensuite,placezla
sangled’entrejambeentrelesjambesdel’enfant.
• Ramenezlesdeuxemboutsmâlesdelaceintureautourdelatailledel’enfantetinsérezlesextrémitésdanslaboucleprincipale.
Assurez-vousqu’ilss’enclenchentbienenplace.Voir image 5.3.Serrezlaceintureanqu’ellesoitbienajustéeautourdelataillede
l’enfant.
• Lessanglesd’épaules,lessanglesdetailleetlasangled’entrejambedevrontpeut-êtreêtreajustées.

6 Pliage de la chaise haute

• Lorsquevousappuyezsurlestouchesdedéclenchement,lachaisehautecommenceraautomatiquementàseplier.Tirezsurlesiège
versl’avantpourterminerdeplier.
• Pourtransporterlachaisehaute,saISSIsezlapoignéesituéesurlebasdusiège.
Entretien
Touslesembouts,boutonspressoirs,rivetsetautrespiècesdequincaillerieetdeplastiquedelachaisehautedoiventêtreinspectés
périodiquementand’assurerqu’ilssontbienxésetenbonétat.Leharnaisderetenuedevraitaussiêtreinspectépériodiquementan
d’assurerqu’ilestbienxéetqu’iln’estpasdécousu,déchiréouendommagé.Touteslespiècesamovibles,telqueleplateauetles

Nettoyage
Pournettoyerleplateauamovible,utilisezuneépongeouunchiffonpropreimbibéd’eautièdeainsiqu’unsavonoudétergentdoux.Laissez
leplateauamoviblesécherenentieravantdel’utiliser.Utilisezunchiffonsecpouressuyerleplateaudebois.Nepasutiliserd’eau,de
savon ou de détergent.

2 Cómo abrir la silla alta
• Mantenga a los niños alejados de la silla al abrirla.
• Tire del respaldo del asiento hacia arriba hasta que la silla quede completamente erguida y trabada. Ver Figura 2.1.
• Empuje el respaldo hacia adelante para asegurarse de que la silla esté bien trabada.
NOTA:NotiredelaMESAhaciaarribaparaabrirlasilla.Elasientoestádiseñadoparaabrirsetirandodelrespaldo.Sitiradelamesa,la
silla puede atascarse.
3 Instalación/desinstalación de la mesa
•Parainstalarlamesa,coloquelamesaconelladocurvomirandohaciaelasiento.Ver Figura 3.1.
• Alinee las ranuras que están debajo de la mesa con los rieles de la silla. Presione las 2 trabas que se encuentran debajo de la mesa (Ver
Figura 3.2) y luego deslice la mesa hasta una de las 4 posiciones. Ver Figura 3.3.
NOTA:Tengacuidadoalintroducirlamesaconelniñosentadoenlasillayveriquesiemprequelacorreadelaentrepiernaqueestá
debajo de la mesa quede entre las piernas del niño.
• Pararetirarlamesa,presionelas2trabasydeslicelamesahaciaafuera.
!ADVERTENCIA
El niño debe estar sujeto con el sistema de sujeción en todo momento.
La nalidad de la mesa no es sujetar al niño en la silla.

4 Uso de la bandeja
La bandeja es desmontable y puede lavarse en el lavaplatos.
• Pararetirarlabandeja,tiredelastrabasqueseencuentranaambosladosdelabandejahaciaafuerayhaciaarriba.Ver Figura 4.1.
Asegúrese de levantar la bandeja derecha para evitar derrames.
• Paravolveracolocarlabandeja,encájelaapresiónsobrelamesahastaquesetrabeporamboslados.
5 Sujeción del niño en el asiento
NOTA:Antesdecolocaralniñoenelasiento,asegúresedequelas5correasdelarnésesténsujetasalasillayquelahebillafuncione
correctamente. Ver Figura 5.1.
• Separe las dos hebillas macho de la hebilla principal presionando ambos lados de la hebilla principal. Ver Figura 5.2.
• Coloquealniñoconcuidadoenlasillapasandolascorreasdeloshombrosporencimadesushombrosypecho.Luego,coloquela
correa de la entrepierna entre las piernas del niño.
• Pase las dos hebillas macho alrededor de la cintura del niño e inserte los extremos en la hebilla principal. Asegúrese de que encajen
bien. Ver Figura 5.3. Ajuste las correas de manera que sujeten bien la cintura del niño.
• Lascorreasdeloshombros,cinturayentrepiernapuedenajustarse.

6 Cómo cerrar la silla alta
NOTA: La silla puede cerrarse con la mesa y la bandeja instaladas.
• Mantenga a los niños alejados de la silla al cerrarla.
• Tire de las 2 trabas ubicadas a los costados de la parte trasera del asiento. Ver Figura 6.1.
• Altirardelastrabas,lasillacomenzaráaplegarseautomáticamente.Empujeelasientohaciaadelanteparacerrarlaporcompleto.
• Paratransportarlasilla,sujételaporlamanijaqueestádetrásdelaparteinferiordelasiento.
Mantenimiento
Sedebenrevisarperiódicamentetodoslosaccesorios,trabas,remachesydemáspiezasmetálicasyplásticasdelasillaparaasegurarse
de que estén bien sujetos y no estén dañados ni funcionen mal. También se debe revisar que arnés de seguridad esté bien sujeto y no esté
suelto,rotoodañado.Además,sedebenrevisarperiódicamentetodaslaspiezasmóviles,comolamesaylasbisagras,paraasegurarsede
que funcionen correctamente.
Sedebencambiardeinmediatotodosloscomponentesfaltantes,rotosogastados,ynosedebeusarlasillahastaquenohayansido
cambiados.Solosedebenusarcomponentesoriginales.Silonecesita,porfavorcontácteseconJoovyanuestronúmerodellamada
gratuita.
Limpieza
Paralavarlabandeja,useunaesponjaopañohumedecidoenaguatibiaydetergentesuavedeusodoméstico.Déjelasecarporcompleto
antesdevolverausarla.Useunpañolimpioysecopararepasarlamesa.Nouseagua,jabónnidetergente.
