JRC NCR-333 - Parts list manual

The following figure is message list 1 screen. Other screens display the same marks.
Message text screen : After equipment starts, the following screen appears.
Explanation of keys
MENU key
Displays the “Main Menu”.
USER key
Displays the screen assigned to this key.
DISP key
Changes the display screen.
Up, Down, Left, Right key
Moves the cursor, scrolls the display screen, and selects the item.
CLR key
Clears input errors and cancel operations.
Turns off the buzzer sound.
ENT key
Determines selection of an item and decides a setup.

Displays the small window (the sub screen).
DIM key
Adjusts the back light brightness of the LCD.
PWR/CONT key
Turns the power ON. Adjusts the contrast of the LCD when power is ON.
GPS position data
External GPS position data is inputted.
If E,M,N, or S is displayed next to “ “, it indicates that
the external GPS position information is invalid.

SAR message
When a search and rescue (SAR)
message is received, it is
displayed with the buzzer sounds.

This message is saved.
Check mark
The check marks are putt
ed when saving
(printing or outputting)
each message at the
same time.
Display title
The title of screen that is currently open is displayed.
SORT
Displays the sorting order of the message list.

Save the message:
50 messages can be saved in each channel. In addition, the message that is not saved (the stored message) is
automatically erased from the data memory about 70 hours after receiving.
1) Save the message in the message text screen

To display each screen, press each key as follows. Moreover, in the following case, BAM ALERT/ NAVTEX ALARM and Message
text screen are displayed automatically.
