Warnings
IMPORTANT: read these instructions carefully before use and
keep for future reference.
Important Safety Information.
This vehicle is intended for children from birth to a maximum of 22kg.
Any weight added to the stroller will aect the stability.
The stroller is suitable for one child only to the maximum
weight stated above.
This stroller complies with BS EN 1888-2:2018
WARNING: never leave the child unattended.
WARNING: always apply the brake when stationary/leaving the
stroller and when inserting or removing your child from the stroller.
WARNING: this product is not suitable for running or skating.
WARNING: ensure that all the locking devices are engaged
before use.
WARNING: check that the pram body, seat unit or car seat
attachement devices are correctly engaged before use.
WARNING: do not let your child play with thisproduct.
WARNING: always use the restraint system in combination
with the seat unit.
WARNING: the maximum weight for the standard shopping
basket is 5kg.
WARNING: never lift/carry this product while occupied.
WARNING: do not use the stroller on steps, stairs
or escalators; as it may be dangerous to your child.
WARNING: always descend/mount kerbs on the back wheels,
do not tip the stroller forward.
WARNING: any load attached to the handle and/or the
back of the backrest and/or the sides of the chassis will aect
the stability of the product.
WARNING: never use a parasol attached to the stroller in
windy conditions.
WARNING: always use the seat in the most reclined position
for new born babies from approximately 6 months.
WARNING: only replacement parts supplied or recommended
by the manufacture/distributor should be used.

1. Fitting/removing the rear wheels
Press the button in the centre of the rear wheel, align the axel and push
onto the rear wheel housing (fig. 1).
IMPORTANT: check the wheels are correctly fitted before use.
To remove the rear wheels, press the button in the centre of the rear
wheel and pull the wheel away from the wheel housing.
2. Attaching the hood
Insert the hood rod into the front section of the plastic housing on the
chassis. Slide the thinner middle rod in to the housing. Insert the rear
rod in to the rear housing. Fasten the press stud. This applies to both
sides of the hood (fig. 2, 3, 4 & 5).
Attach clips on the rear lycra section of the hood to the back of the seat unit.
3. Unfolding the J-CARBON
Release the wheels from their lugs and push forward until the chassis
base locks into place (fig. 6, 7 & 8).
Unclip the travel lock located at the rear wheel (fig. 9).
Lift the handle bar upwards (fig. 10) until it locks into place (fig. 11).
Lift the seat unit upwards into an upright position (fig. 12) and then
drop the seat section downwards into place (fig. 13 & 14).
WARNING:ensure the locking devices are engaged before use.
4. Operating the hood
Pull the hood forwards to open and back to close (fig. 15, 16 & 17).
5. Using the hood ventilation panel
There is a ventilated panel within the hood for adding air circulation on
warmer days. Unzip the zippers on the rear of the hood fully to reveal
the mesh panel (fig. 18). Fold back the hood fabric to open the
ventilation panel fully (fig. 19). To close, fold the fabric back and zip up.
6. Using the front swivel wheels
The front wheels can be in a fixed forward travelling position or swivel
position.
Rotate the switch located above the front wheel to lock the wheels in a
forward travelling position and twist again to change back into swivel
mode (fig. 20).
For uneven surfaces you may find the stroller is easier to manoeuvre in
the fixed forward position.

7. Operating the parking brake
Press down on the pedal to engage the parking brake (fig. 21).
Press down again to release the brake.
WARNING:never leave your stroller without fully
engaging the parking brake.
8. Adjusting the handle height
Twist the barrel on the handle forward and move the handle upwards
until it is in the desired position (fig. 22 & 23).
When folding the J-CARBON always ensure that the handle is in the
lowest position.
9. Attaching and removing the bumper bar
Insert the bumper bar into the housings on both sides of the seat unit
(fig. 24).
Press the buttons on either side of the bumper bar to release (fig. 25).
10. Swing away bumper bar
Press the button on one side of the bumper bar to swing away,
this allows easy access to your child (fig. 26).
11. Reclining the seat unit
Lift the handle located on the rear of the seat unit (fig. 27 & 28).
Recline into the desired position (fig. 29 & 30).
Use the same handle to raise the seat unit back into a seated position.
The seat unit has 3 recline positions and is suitable from birth in the
lie-flat position.
12. Removing and attaching the back panel
Slide your fingers into the bottom of the back panel and pull away from
the seat back (fig. 31).
The back panel is magnetic and will attach easily when placed back
into position.
13. Adjusting the hood height
Pinch the bottom slider buttons inwards and push up or down to adjust
the hood into the desired position (fig. 32).
Always ensure that the hood is in the lowest position before attempting
to fold the chassis.

17. Removing the seat unit
Lift the seat part of the seat unit upwards to meet the back rest (fig. 39).
Drop the seat unit forwards into a horizontal position (fig. 40) and lift o
the chassis (fig. 41).
18. Attaching the seat unit in parent-facing mode
Slide the seat unit into the chassis housings with the seat facing the
rear of the stroller (fig. 42).
Lift the back rest into a seated position (fig. 43).
WARNING:ensure the seat unit is locked in place on the
chassis before use.
19. Using the J-CARBON with a Group 0 Car Seat
Slide the car seat adaptors into the housings on the chassis (fig. 44).
The car seat adaptors are labelled L and R. This is from the perspective
of you standing behind the chassis.
The adaptors will lock into place with a click.
WARNING:ensure the car seat adaptors are locked in place
before use.
14. Adjusting the shoulder strap height
Pinch the top slider buttons inwards and push up or down to adjust the
shoulder harness into the desired position (fig. 33).
Always ensure that the harness is a comfortable fit on your child’s shoulders.
WARNING:to avoid serious injury always use a
5-point safety harness.
15. Operating the 5-point safety harness
To fasten the harness bring together the left and right sections of the
shoulder straps (fig. 34) and push into the main buckle housing on the
crotch strap until they click into place (fig. 35).
WARNING:to avoid injury always use the 5-point safety harness.
To open the harness, press the button on the buckle housing (fig. 36).
16. Adjusting the 5-point safety harness
The waist strap and shoulder strap are adjustable to grow with your child.
Simply slide the harness through the adjusters to the desired position
(fig. 37 & 38).
WARNING:to avoid injury always use the 5-point safety harness.

Attach your car seat by lower on to the adaptors (fig. 45).
To release the car seat adaptors twist the locking device round and lift
o (fig. 46).
CAUTION: always remove the car seat adaptors before folding the chassis.

leading brand car seats, for full details please visit the Support section
of our website; www.juniorjones.com or check with your local
experience centre.
WARNING:only use car seats which have been approved by
JUNIORJONES.
20. Using the J-CARBON with a Carrycot
To assemble the carrycot, remove the apron and mattress to gain
access to the stay bars in the bottom of the carrycot.
Using the tabs, pull the stay bars into the clips on the baseboard until
you hear them click into place (fig. 47).
Replace the mattress and reattach the apron.
IMPORTANT: ensure that the stay bars are fully engaged before using
the carrycot.
Your J-CARBON carrycot comes with adaptors that are also compatible
with Group 0 Car Seats.
Slide the car seat adaptors into the housings on the chassis (fig. 48).
The car seat adaptors are labelled L and R. This is from the
perspective of you standing behind the chassis.
The adaptors will lock into place with a click.
WARNING:ensure the car seat adaptors are locked in place
before use.
Attaching your carrycot by lowering it on to the adaptors (fig. 49).
To adjust the carrycot hood, depress the buttons on the side of the
hood (fig. 50) and pull up un til you hear it click into place.
Depress the buttons again to put the hood down.
To remove the carrycot, depress the release buttons on the side of the
carrycot (fig. 51) and lift upwards from the chassis and the adaptors.
To release the car seat adaptors twist the locking device round and lift
o (fig. 52).
CAUTION: always remove the car seat adaptors before folding the chassis.

WARNING:the J-CARBON carrycot is suitable for a child who
cannot sit unaided, rollover or push itself up on its hands and knees.
Maximum weight of the child: 9kg.
WARNING:do not let other children play unattended near the
carrycot.
WARNING:do not use if any part is broken or missing.
WARNING:no additional mattress should be added unless
recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not leave your child unattended.
Never use the carrycot on a stand.
IMPORTANT:
• Ensure that you only use the carrycot on a horizontal, firm, level and dry
surface.
• Regularly inspect the handle and base of the carrycot.
• Never use/leave your carrycot near open fire and other strong heat
sources such as electric fires, gas fires etc.
• This carrycot is not a safe means of transport by car and should NEVER
be used as such.
• Before carrying or lifting, make sure that the handle is in the correct
position.
• The head of the child should never be lower than the body, when
placed in the carrycot.
21. Folding the J-CARBON
Lift the seat section of the seat unit upwards to meet the back rest
(fig. 53 & 54) Drop the seat unit to the rear of the chassis (fig. 55).
Ensure the handle bar is in the lowest height position. Firmly twist the
barrel on the handle bar towards yourself to release the locking
mechanism and drop the handle bar to the rear legs (fig. 56, 57 & 58).
Press the button to release the secondary locking mechanism and lift
the barrel shaped handle upwards (fig. 59).
Bring the front wheels in towards the rear wheels and lock them into
the lugs (fig. 60 & 61).
Your J-CARBON will free-stand when folded and the front wheels are
locked into the lugs correctly (fig. 62).

Care and maintenance
• Regularly check screws, rivets, bolts and fastenings to ensure they
are locked tight and secure.
• Replace any parts in an inferior condition.
• Always apply the brake when stationary/leaving the stroller and
when inserting or removing your child from the stroller.
• When using this product during the winter, by the sea or o-road it is
important to clean using clean fresh water and dry thoroughly. Salt
water and salt and grit from the roads will corrode metal parts unless
removed.
• Check on a regular basis that all chassis locking devices are working
correctly.
• If any part of the product is damaged, contact our Customer Services
Team immediately.
• Do not expose to excessive sunlight for extended periods of time,
even normal exposure to sunlight may cause change to the colour of
the fabrics.
• Light oil or silicone spray can be used to lubricate moving parts.
• Ensure zips are either fully open or closed to prevent damage.
• Always use the rain cover in inclement weather.
• Never leave the raincover over the stroller with your child in it when
indoors.
• Do not place items on top of the hood/canopy, it could damage the
fabrics and aect the stability of the product.
• Any load attached to the handle and/or the back of the backrest and/
or the sides of the chassis will aect the stability of the product.
• Tyres could potentially leave marks on some surfaces such as vinyl
flooring and carpet.
• Fabrics should be cleaned in accordance to the care labels.
• Do not place fabrics in a washing machine, hand wash or sponge
clean only using a mild detergent and warm water (30º C) in
accordance to the care labels.
• Never leave the stroller with the child near swimming pools,
stairs and fire.

JUNIORJONES Ltd provide the guarantee that all products purchased
from us are free from manufacturing faults and material defects in both
the workmanship and the materials.
With regard to our stroller products, your guarantee is valid for three
years from the date of purchase. With regard to our carrycots, soft
goods and other accessories, your guarantee is valid for twelve months
from the date of purchase.
Please retain your proof of purchase as we may, at our discretion,
require proof of purchase to validate any claim under this guarantee.
As an owner of a JUNIORJONES product, it is your responsibility to
ensure your product is kept in good condition and is regularly
maintained. You must also adhere to all instructions for care and use,
as these will keep your product in the best condition and will prevent
injury or damage to your product or child.
Your statutory rights are not aected.
