REPLACEMENT OF MEMORY ICs
1. MEMORY ICs

2. PROCEDURE FOR REPLACING MEMORY IC s
(1) Power off
Sw itch the p ow er of f an d di sco nn ect t he pow e r plu g f rom t he wall out l et.
(2) Replace ICs
Be sure to use memory ICs written with the initial data values.
(3) Power on
Con nect th e p ow er pl u g i nt o t he wall ou tlet and sw itch t he po we r on .
(4) Check and set SY STEM CONSTANT SET

1) Press t he DI SPLAY ke y and th e PICTURE MODE key of the REMOTE
CONTROL UNIT simultaneously.
2) The SERVICE MENU screen of Fig. 1 will be displayed.

BEFORE STARTING SERVICE ADJUSTMENT
1. There ar e 2 w ay of adjus ti ng t hi s TV: One i s wi th t he
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT and the other is the conventional
method using adjustment parts and components.
2. The adjustment with the REMOTE CONTROL UNIT is made
on the basis of the initial setting v alues. The setting values
which adjust the screen to its optimum condition may differ
from the initial s etti ng v al ues.
