1. Introduction:
• We recommend that you read this manual before installing/using this product
• Keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
2. Safety precautions:

CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not
remove the cover (or back) of the unit. Refer servicing only to
qualified service personnel.
The lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol in an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert
the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s
enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of important operation and servicing instructions in the literature accompanying
the appliance.

In addition to the careful attention for the quality standards when manufacturing your video product,
safety is the most important factor in the design of all our devices. However, safety is your responsibility,
too. This manual lists important information that will help to assure your enjoyment and proper use of
the video product and accessory equipment. Please read them carefully before using your video
product.
• Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or multi-sockets beyond their capacity, since this can
result in fire or electric shock.

• Do not use an unsuitable (unprotected) power outlet, this may be dangerous.
• Check the connection regularly. If there is any rupture or failure in the insulation of the cable and the
unit, disconnect the device immediately and bring it to a qualified technician for a checkup.
• Do not use the power cable connection anywhere near water or liquids, such as the bath, sink,
swimming pool, laundry tub or inside a wet / moist basement, etc.
• Do not place the unit on an unstable object. The set may fall, causing serious injury to a child or an
adult and also serious damage to the unit.
• Never place the DVB-t receiver near or on top of any heat radiating device, such as heaters, ovens,
stoves, radiators, fan heaters, amplifiers, etc. Also never expose the device to direct sunlight as this
may cause overheating.
• Unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning or polishing it. Do not use liquid or aerosol
cleaners, alcohol or other cleaning sprays! Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the exterior of the unit only!
• Never place a heavy object on the unit!
• Do not defeat the safety purpose of the power plug. If the provided plug does not fit in your outlet,
consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. Do not force the plug into the outlet!
• Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, be particularly cautious with plugs,
convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit the device.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightening storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged
in any way.
• Switch off the main power when the unit is not in use. (Disconnect the power plug from the power
outlet when you do not intend to use the unit for a prolonged period of time). Remove the disc before
moving or switching the unit.
• Do not cover or touch any of the components inside the unit!
• Install the unit on a flat surface with good air circulation. Please ensure that the ventilation holes are
not covered, otherwise the unit will overheat and malfunction.
• Read through this manual before installation and use.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Double insulation
This is a class II apparatus
Where the MAINS plug is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily
operable.
Warning: batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) should not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.
MAINS SUPPLY -220 V – 240 V 50/60 HZ
OVERLOADING Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords or adapters as this can result in
fire or electrical shock.
LIQUIDS Keep liquids away from the DVB-T receiver.
CLEANING: Before cleaning, disconnect the DVB-T receiver from the wall socket.
Use a cloth lightly dampened with water (no solvents) to clean the exterior.
VENTILATION:
Do not block the DVB-T receiver’s ventilation holes. Ensure that free airflow is
maintained around the DVB-T receiver. Never store the DVB-T receiver
where it is exposed to direct sunlight or near heating equipment e.g. a
radiator.
Never stack other electronic equipment on top of the DVB-T receiver.
Place the DVB-T receiver at least 30 mm from the wall.
ATTACHMENTS: Do not use any attachment that is not recommended by the manufacturer; it
may cause a hazard or damage the equipment.

CONNECTING TO
THE CABLE TV
SIGNAL AND TV:
Connect all components before plugging any power cords into the wall outlet.
Always turn off the DVB-T receiver, TV and other components before you
connect or disconnect any cables.
SERVICING
Do not attempt to service this product yourself.
Any attempt to do so will make the warranty invalid.
Refer all servicing to a qualified service agent.
LIGHTNING
If the DVB-T receiver is installed in an area subject to intense lightning
activity, protection equipment for the DVB-T receiver’s mains connector are
essential.
The individual manufacturer's instruction for safeguarding other equipment,
such as a TV set, Hi-Fi, etc., connected to the DVB-T receiver must also be
followed during lightning storms.
Note:
Dispose the used batteries at a designated place for environmental protection.

7. Installation Instructions:
1. Initial installation
1. When the DVB-T receiver is switched on for the first time, a “Welcome Page” will be displayed.
2. Use the arrow keys ▲▼◄► to select the “Region” and “OSD Language”.
3. Move the highlight to the “Search” button and press “OK” to begin the channel scan.
2. Volume Control
Use “VOL+” and “VOL-” to increase or decrease the volume.
By pressing , the audio will be turned off. Press again or press the volume keys to turn on the
audio.
3. Channel Select
You can change the channel in different ways:
1. Press “OK” to display the List of Channels.
Use the arrow keys “▲” or “▼” to navigate through the channel list. When you reach the channel you
want to watch, press “OK”.
2. By pressing the channel key CH+ or CH-.
3. By entering the number to select the desired channel.
4. By pressing “Recall” to return to the previous channel you watched.
4. Favourite Channesl List
Create the Favourite Channel List
You can create up to 8 Favourite Channel groups. Press “OK” to display the channels list and set to the
desired channel.
Press “1” to edit the channel. 8 favourite channel groups will appear.
With CH+/- channels set on the desired group press “OK” to assign the channel to that group.

Switch the All Channel List and Favourite Channels List
In the Channel List, press “◄” or “►”to switch “All Channel List” and different “Favourite Channels List”
Switch between the different Favourite Channels Lists
Press “FAV”, a Favourite Channels Group List will be displayed for selection.
5. Rename
In the “TV Channel List”, press “1” to edit the channel.
Pressing [5] will show a “Rename” window where you can rename the highlighted channel.
Press [Up] [Down] [Left] [Right] to move the highlighted bar in the “Rename” window. Press [OK] to
input the character.
Move the highlight to “OK” and press [OK] to save the modification. Move the highlighted bar to “ESC”
and press [OK] to cancel the operation.

6. Sort
In the “TV Channel List”, press “3” to sort the channels.
Press [Up] or [Right] to move the highlight and press [OK] to select sort type such as Default /
Name(A-Z)/ Name(Z-A)/ FTA/ Lock.
7. Move
In the “TV Channel List”, press “4” to move the channel.
Press [4] to display a cursor in the right side of the selected channel as above.
You can move the selected channel to the desired position by entering the number. Press [OK] to
confirm your decision.
8. Channel Scan
There are two different ways to scan channels.
In the Main Menu →Installation →Auto Scan, Move the highlight bar to the “search” button. Press the
[OK] key to scan all the Channels.
In Main Menu →Installation →Channel Scan, set the appropriate parameter. Move the highlighted bar
to the “search” button. Press [OK] to scan channels.

Tuner setting: choose off for home external antenna; choose on for powered antenna.
9. Setup Menu
Press “MENU” to activate the main menu. Select “Setup” and press “OK” to enter the menu.
Change the OSD Language
Change the TV system: PAL/NTSC mode; 16:9/4:3 aspect ratio; video RGB/CVBS; Icn on/off; Auto
standby; on/off
Setting the region and time
Timer Setting: for more information, refer to the next section.
Setting OSD attribute
Parent Lock Setting:
Channels or menu operations can be locked using a password. The original password is “0000”. The
universal password is “3330”.
10. Timer
In Main Menu →Setup →Timer Setting, there are two options: Programme Timer and Sleep Timer.
With the UP/DOWN and LEFT/RIGHT you can enter the submenus and adjust the settings.

Programme Timer:
In this section, it is possible to set up to a max of 8 timers which allow the unit to automatically turn on
and record.
Timer Number: it is possible to set up to 8 timers.
Timer Mode: it is possible to set a timer (once - daily - weekly - monthly - off).
Timer Service: set TV service or Radio service.
Wakeup Channel: set the channel you want the unit to turn onto and/or recording.
Month: set the month.
Date: set the date.
Day: set the day of the week.
Note: month, date, day are actively based on Timer mode.
Time: set the time.
Auto Record: set ON/OFF.
Record Duration: select “On” to set the duration. Press OK and adjust the time with the numeric buttons
and press “OK” again to confirm. Press “Exit” to exit and save the inserted data.
Sleep Timer: In this menu, you can set a time duration before the DVB-T receiver goes into standby
mode. The time duration is from 10 min to 120 min.
OSD setting:
Subtitle display: set subtitles on or off (the function must be supported by the TV channel)
OSD transparency: set the OSD transparency to 10 – 50% or set to “Off”.
Load default OSD setting: press “OK” to return to the default OSD settings.
Parent lock:
In parent lock mode press “OK”. You will be asked to insert a password (“0000” or “3330”). A window
will pop up where you can lock a menu or a channel.
It is also possible to change the default password with a new one. If you forget the new password you
can input the default password.
11. Tools
Receiver info: technical data about the receiver
Game: there are two games (Snake and Othello)
Load default settings: insert the new password or default one and confirm to return to default settings.
Software Upgrade: upgrade by Air (OTA) or upgrade by storage.
12. EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
Press “EPG” to display all information available for the Channels.

The following operations can be used in the EPG menu:
Switch List: Press “2” to switch between the programme list and event list.
Play Booking: Select the event and press “OK” to book for play.
REC Booking: Select the event and press “REC” to book for record.
13. Media Player
USB flash disk/USB hard disk is supported on this DVB-T receiver. But when a USB hard disk is
used, please use a power adapter to connect the hard disk driver.
1. When the USB disk is mounted, you can enter Main Menu →Media+ →Media Player menu to play
music, MP3 and WMA and video files or browse JPEG pictures.
2. In Main Menu →Media+ →PVR Manage, the recorded video files are listed on the display. You can
Lock, Delete or Rename the files or press the [OK] key to play.
3. In Main Menu →Media+ →Storage Manager, you can select the USB disk.
For the Recording or Time Shift functions, a USB High Speed disk is needed. 1 hour video recording
will need about 2 GB of space. (The storage space is related to the programme content.)
14. Recording and Timeshifting
A USB disk is needed to record and to use the time shifting function.
14.1. Recording
After pressing [REC], the recording begins and a “REC” bar appears.

The default recording duration is 2 hours. When the “REC” bar is displayed, press “REC”, and a
“Record Duration box” appears, press [OK] and you can set the recording duration. Press [OK] again to
confirm and then [EXIT] to exit duration setup.
When the “REC” Bar is displayed, press [EXIT] then the “REC” bar will disappear. A “REC” icon is
displayed on the upper-left corner.
To stop the recording, press [STOP] and after you confirm, the recording will stop.
We advise using a USB high speed item (USB disk or HD) to record. However, the compatibility with all
USB items available is not guaranteed. The supported system files are FAT, FAT32 and NTFS.
14.2 Time Shifting (512MB minimum free space)
If you set the time shifting function to “OFF” and you press the pause button, the programme will only
be paused.
To activate the time shifting function, you need to confirm that “Time Shift” in “Main Menu →Media+ →
PVR configuration” is “On”.
The video data will be stored in the “Time Shift Buffer”. When the DVB-T receiver is in time shifting
mode, you can rewind and watch the programme from the beginning while the device is still recording.
Press the play button to pause the programme and press play again to start watching.
Using the “PLAY”, “PAUSE”, “FB” and “FF” keys, you can watch/pause/fast backward/fast forward the
programme.
Press“STOP” key to exit the time shifting mode and return to the live programme.
14.3 PVR Configuration
In the “Main Menu →Media+ →PVR configuration” menu, you can set the following functions:
1. Preferred Storage: USB partition (select the logic unit to store the data)
2. Time Shift Time (min): you can reserve the time of time shifting. From 10 to 60 minutes.
3. Record Type:
“TS” →Transport Stream format (*.dvr). This format can only be played on the DVB-T receiver.
“PS” →Program Stream format (*.mpg). This format can be played on your computer.
4. Standby mode: In this mode it is possible to record and/or watch a programme.
5. Time Shift To Rec:
“On” →When you press “REC”, the data in the time shift buffer will be stored in the recorded file.
“Off” →When you start to record, it just records from the current time.
6. Time Shift:
“On” enable the time shifting
“Off” disable the time shifting
7. Record Recovery:
If power accidentally cuts during recording, the last recording will be continued when the power is
functioning again.
Disc format: System file FAT or NTFS.

Note:
Please do not remove the recording device before it is unmounted.
The DVB-T receiver will automatically switch from active mode into standby mode after being three
hours in active mode counting from the last user’s interaction and/or a channel change. A warning with
the message “Without action from user, the DVB-T receiver will go into standby mode within 2 minutes.”
8. Trouble shooting
In some region, the digital terrestrial signal may be weak. We recommend you use the antenna with a
built-in booster for watching channels with a weak signal.

• Steckdosen, Verlängerungskabel oder Mehrfachstecker dürfen nicht überlastet werden, da

REINIGUNG:
Trennen Sie vor der Reinigung das Gerät vom Netz.

7. Installationsanleitung:
1. Erstmalige Installation
1. Beim erstmaligen Einschalten des Receivers erscheint eine „Willkommen Seite“.
2. Wählen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten ▲▼◄► die Optionen „Region“ und „OSD Language“.
3. Verschieben Sie die Markierung zum Feld „Suche“ und drücken Sie „OK“, um die Sendersuche zu
starten.
2. Lautstärke regeln
Mit den Tasten „VOL+“ und „VOL-“ erhöhen oder reduzieren Sie die Lautstärke.
Drücken Sie die Taste „Mute“ , um den Ton auszuschalten. Drücken Sie „Mute“ erneut oder die
Lautstärketasten, um den Ton wieder einzuschalten.
3. Sender auswählen
Sie können die Sender auf verschiedene Arten umschalten:
1. Drücken Sie die Taste „OK“, um die Senderliste anzuzeigen.
Mit den Pfeiltasten „▲“ oder „▼“ navigieren Sie durch die Senderliste. Sobald Sie den gewünschten
Sender gefunden haben, drücken Sie die Taste „OK“.
2. Verwenden Sie die Tasten CH+ oder CH-.
3. Geben Sie die Nummer des gewünschten Senders ein.
4. Mit der Taste „Recall“ kehren Sie zum vorherigen Sender zurück.

Favoritenliste erstellen
Sie können bis zu 8 Gruppen mit Lieblingssendern erstellen. Drücken Sie OK, um die Senderliste
anzuzeigen und den gewünschten Sender einzuschalten.
Drücken Sie „1“ zum Bearbeiten des Senders. Es werden 8 Favoritengruppen angezeigt.
Wählen Sie mit CH+/- die gewünschte Gruppe und drücken Sie „OK“, um den ausgewählten Sender
dieser Gruppe zuzuweisen.
