•Donotconnecttheunittogetherwithotherequipmentorusinga
multi-socket.
•Donotdamageorbreakthepowersupplyplugorcord.
•Weargloveswhenyouremovefrozenitemsfromthefreezer.
•Donotdefrosttheinsidewallswithaknifeoranysharpobject.
Donotmakeholesinthecabinetwalls.
•Disconnectthepowerplugbeforemovingtheunit.
•Allowtheunittostand foratleast30 minutesbeforeturningitonforthe
firsttime.
•Donottilttheunit whilemovingit.

2. UsagePrecautions
1. Donotdefrosttheinsidewallswithaknifeoranysharpobject.. Do
notmakeholesinthecabinetwalls..
2. Frostwillaccumulateontheinsidewallsofthefreezerduringnormal
use. Excess frostmaymaketheinternaldoorsdifficulttoopen.
Removethefrostwithaspatula, orasimilartool,orsimplywipeitoff
withaclean, drycloth.
3. Anaccess portforthemeasuringcableisprovidedonthebackwall of
thefreezer. Besuretoreplace thecapandheatinsulatorafterremoving
thecable, ortheinsidetemperaturemaynotbereached. Frostmay
accumulateoutsidetheport.
4. Incaseofhighambienttemperatures,thecabinetfrontmayheatup
afterthefreezerisusedforthefirsttime.Thisisnormalanddoesnot
indicateamalfunction.
3. GeneralRecommendations
Therefrigerationsystemisdesignedtomaintainultra-lowtemperaturesin+32oC
ambientenvironments.
CAUTION!
Thisunitisnotarapid-freezingdevice.Attemptingtofreezelarge
quantitiesorliquid, orhigh-watercontentitems, will temporarilyraise
thechambertemperatureand will causethecompressorstooperatefor
aprolongedperiodoftime.Improperuseofthefreezermay
jeopardizesafetyand may causeunduestressordamagetothe
compressors.
Avoidopening thedoorforextendedtimeperiods.Warmerairfromtheenvironment,
willreplacechamberairandmaycauserapidfrostbuild-up inthechamber.

3.1EnvironmentalConditions
Thisequipmentisdesignedtooperateunderthefollowing conditions:
1. Indooruse;
2. Environmentaltemperaturesbetween+15°Cand+32oC;
3. Mainsupplyvoltagefluctuationnottoexceed+10%to-10% ofnormalvoltage.
3.2InitialLoading
Whenloading theunitwithpre-frozenmaterials, theoperatingtemperaturesetpoint
shouldnotbesetlowerthanthetemperatureofthepre-frozenmaterial.Allowtheunit
tooperateatthesetpointforeighthours.Thesetpointmaythanbeloweredin
incrementsnogreaterthan10oC.Allowastabilizingperiodofeighthoursfor every
ten degrees, untilthedesiredsetpointisachieved.
CAUTION!
Failuretofollowtheseprocedures,oroverloadingtheunit, maycause
excessivestress onthecompressorsandcompromisesamplequality.
4. Pre-Installation
Ondelivery, unpacktheunitandcheckthecabinetexteriorforsignsofdamage.
CAUTION!CHESTFREEZERS
Donotdiscardtheinternallidsfromchestunits.
Theselidsarenecessarytomaintainthecorrectinternaltemperature,
humidity, andensuregeneraloperationalefficiency.

5. Installation
Donotdeviatefromtheelectricandtemperatureratingsprintedonthedataplate
locatedontherear, lowerrightsideoftheunit.
CAUTION!
Incorrectoperationoftheequipmentcouldresultinpotentiallydangerous
conditions.Toavoidhazardsandminimize risk, followall instructionsand
operatetheunitwithintheparametersstatedonthedataplate.
5.1Positioning
Installtheunitonavibrationfree,levelfloor, witha minimum offifteencentimeters
ofspace aroundthesides, rear,andtop. RefertoSection5.3forinstructionson
leveling thecabinet.Allowsufficientclearance forthedoor, orlid, toopenatleast90
degrees.
Donotpositiontheequipmentindirectsunlightornearsources ofheat suchas
diffusers, radiatorsetc.
Theambienttemperaturerangeatthesitemustbebetween+15°Cto+32oC.
WARNING!
Installtheunitonasolid, sturdyfloor.
WARNING!
Neverinstalltheunitinaflammableorvolatileenvironment.This
mayresultinfireorexplosion.
Neverinstalltheunitwhereacidorcorrosivegasesarepresent.
Corrosionmayresultinwiring damageandcurrentleakage/electric
shock.
WARNING!
Thisunitisnotdesignedforoutdooruse. Currentleakageorelectric
shockmayresultiftheunitisexposedtowater.
Neverinstalltheunitinanexcessivelyhumidenvironment,orwhere
thereisahighriskofbeing splashedbywater. Deteriorationofthe

insulationmayresult, whichcouldcausecurrentleakageorelectric
shock.
CAUTION!
Toallowforproperairflow, aminimum offifteencentimetersclearanceis
requiredbehind thefreezer.
5.2Wiring
CAUTION!
Connecttheequipmenttothecorrectpowersource. Incorrectvoltagecan
resultindamage.
CAUTION!
Forpersonalsafetyandtrouble-free operation,theunitmustbeproperly
grounded. Failuretogroundtheequipmentmaycausepersonalinjuryor
damagetotheequipment. Ifthepowersupplyoutletisnotgrounded, itis
necessarytoinstall agroundfromthegroundingscrewlocatedonthelower
rightrearsideoftheunit.
Ifpossible,itispreferabletoconnectthefreezertoadedicated(separate)power
supply. Eachfreezerisequippedwithaservice cordandplug designedtoconnectitto
apoweroutletwhichitdeliversthecorrectvoltage. Supplyvoltagemustwithin
+10%to-10% ofthefreezer’sratedvoltage.
CAUTION!
Nevercut,orremovethegroundingprongfromtheservice cordplug. Ifthe
prongisremoved, thefreezerwill notbeproperlygrounded.
5.3Leveling
Theunitmustbelevel:Bothfronttobackandsidetoside.
Tolevelchestmodels,leavethecastersinplaceand shimthewheel(s)withstripsof
sheetmetalcutwiderthanthecaster.
Uprightmodelshaveadjustableleveling feetlocatedadjacenttothefrontcasters.
Extendtheleveling feetbyrotatingthemcounterclockwise. Ensuretheunitis100%
level.

5.4DoorOperation(UprightModels)
5.4.1OpeningtheDoor
1. Removethepadlock(Ifsupplied).
2. Graspthelatchhandle(preferablywithyourlefthand), and,inonemovement,
pullittowards toyouuntilthelatchdisengagesfromthetrack.
3. Keeppulling bythelatchhandle, ortheintegratedhandle, toopenthemaindoor.
5.4.2ClosingtheDoor
Notethatthelatchdoesnotautomaticallyself-engagewhenyouclosethedoor.
Youmustfirstpushthelatchtotheopenposition.
1. Graspthelatchhandle, andpushthedoorawayfromyouyou, rotatingthelatch
totheclosedpositionwhenthedoorreachestheframe.
2. Inonemovement, gentlypushthehandleawayfromyou,making surethatthe
latchengagesfullywiththetrack.
CAUTION!
Closing thedoorwithoutensuringthatthelatchisfullyengagedwiththe
trackcouldresultindamagetothedoor.

1. Press andhold .Thetemperaturedisplayshowsthetemperaturerising.When
thetemperaturereachesthewarmalarmsetvalue, thealarmwillsound.
Note:Thetemperatureoftherefrigeratedarea doesnotchange. Onlythesensoris
heated.
2. Release .Thesensoranddisplaywill,inafewminutes,returntothecabinet
temperature.

7.1CondenserMaintenance
Cleanthecondenseratleasteverysixmonths, butmorefrequentlyindusty
environments.
Tocleanthecondenser:
1. Pullopenthegrillcoversituatedonthefrontofthecompressorhousing.
2. Removethefilterandcheckthefans. Ifafanisnotoperating, contactaservice
engineer.
3. Vacuumcleanthecondenser.
4. Replace thefilterandclosethegrill cover.
7.1.1CleaningtheCondenserFilter
Cleanthecondenserfiltereverytwotothree months.
1. Pullopenthecompressorhousinggrill cover.
2. Removethefilter.
3. Shakethefiltertoloosendust. Rinsethefilterincleanwater. Shaketheexcess
waterfromthefilter, andreplace thefilter.
4. Closethegrillcover.
