1. How to connect the foot with the display
Please find all related accessory in the small packet.
Please use the hex-wrench (see picture below) to tighten the 8 screws into the foot.
Deploy the display upright and connect the power cable.
Use the key to open the rear door. You will see a USB port and a RJ45 network port. You can
connect the Ethernet network via RJ45 port or with your W-Lan.

2 Connect the display with your WLAN network.
Plug your mouse (USB-port necessary) into the display.
Click the right key on your mouse to exit the running system and click “ok” to get to the sreen
desktop.
Then click the following icon on screen to open the menu.(down in the middle of the screen)

Now choose your language.
You can play videos and presentations from USB. Just download the content, put the content you
like to play on the USB-stick and plug it to the USB-Port on the backside of the display.
Then go to “FileManager”, click on the line “USB” and choose the content you want to play

If you like to use the Digital Signage Software via LAN or WLAN, go to “settings”/WLAN and click
on your WLAN IP. Then enter your Password and click “save”.
Please note down your WLAN IP for connection with your Server / PC!
3 Register Server IP address in system.
You see the following image on the bottom of the screen, click the “back-icon”(first sign on the
left) to exit the system setup menu.
Then choose digital signage with left mouse click.

Now please press the middle roller on your mouse. You will see the right image on the bottom of
screen, and then click “register”with left key on mouse.
Click “change account” and set your server PC’s IP address into the first blank. Then name this
machine, f.e. “001”. Click “register“, and then exit the system with a click on middle roller.
Finally choose “exit” on the bottom and “ok”.
To leave the menu click on the “house-icon” on the left on top of the screen.
ATTENTION: Make sure your Server / PC is in the same WLAN as the Display

4. Install digital signage software on your server PC
Now you need a PC as server PC with win7 system (notice: windows server 2008 will be better).
To install our digital signage software, unzip the digital signage software on your computer.
Attention: Before you install the digital signage software on your computer, you need to close
your Anti-virus system software!
Install the update version E-Server EN V 3.9.2.msi with the setup.exe-file. You will find it on the
KARE ftp-server in the public folder (Login data can be requested through [e-mail])
After you install the digital signage software on your server PC, you can see the digital signage
software icon(left image) on your computer desktop. Please make sure there is the server
software icon( right image) on the right bottom corner of the screen.
You can click the E-Server software icon to enter into the software system.

A prompt will occur, please answer it with yes and choose the task bar “player”. To add a new
player please choose Server Address and type in the Players WLAN IP, which you already used in
the KIOSK WLAN menu.
ATTENTION:
The connection will only work, if the Digital Signage Software is already working on the Display
and the Server/PC and the KIOSK machine are in the same WLAN network!

Operating digital signage software on PC.
To launch Signagelink software, click Digital Signage icon on
your computer desktop. If you are logging from the computer other than
the server, launch Internet Explorer and type url http://serverIP/webedit
There is a pre-define Admin account “sa”. The default password is 123456.
After you sign in the system, you can change the password for this account.
