comply with IEC international rules of safety.
Read this user guide thoroughly before using your Prolaser®
Laser Pointer. Always operate the laser according to the
procedures and warnings in this manual.

Avoid setting up the laser level near
heavy machinery or sources of vibration that may adversely
affect the leveling of the laser.
Note
To get the most out of your Prolaser®896 5-DOT Laser Pointer, please
adhere carefully to the following instructions.
1.OpentheLockingKnob.ThePowerIndicatoronthe 
keypad will light red.
2.PresstheON/OFFkeyonthekeypad.TheLaserIndicator 
will turn green.
3.Iftheunitisoutoflevelingrange(±4°),theLaserIndicatorandthe
 laserbeamswillblink.Adjusttheunituntilblinkingceases.

Care and Maintenance
Preventative Maintenance
• Storeinacleandryplace,between5°F–131°F(-15°C–55°C).
• Beforemovingortransportingtheunit,ensurethatitisturnedoffand
 thePendulumLockingKnobislocked.
• Ifthelaserunitiswet,dryoffwithadrycloth.Donotsealthelaserin
the carrying case until completely dry.
• Donotattempttodrythelaserunitwithreorwithanelectricdryer.
• Donotdropthelaserunit,avoidroughtreatment,andavoidconstant
vibration.
• Periodicallycheckthecalibrationofthelaserunit.
• Cleanwithasoftcloth,slightlydampenedwithasoapandwater
solution. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents or strong
detergents.
• Keepthelaseraperturescleanbywipingthemgentlywithasoft
lint-free cloth.
• Removebatteriesfromthelaserunitduringlengthyperiodsof
non-use, and store in carrying case.
• Ensurethatthelaserunitisturnedoffbeforeremovingbatteries.
Repairs
• SeetheWarrantysectionattheendofthismanual.
• DonottaketheProlaser®896 5-DOT Laser Pointer apart or permit
 anyunqualiedpersontotakethelaserunitapart.Unauthorized
 servicingmaycausebodilyinjury,irreparablydamagethelaserunit,
and invalidate the warranty.
