Warranty
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for
any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure. The product is warranted for 1 year from the date of original
purchase.
The provision of this warranty shall not apply to any product which has been subject to
abuse or misuse, neglect or accident. Nor does the warranty apply to any product that has
within the warranty period been used for a purpose for which the product has not been
designed or which has been repaired or altered in such a way to adversely affect its
performance and reliability. Service by an unauthorized source may void the warranty.
The Kelly Company Pty Ltd neither assumes or authorizes any person to assume
responsibility for damages due to accident, abuse, lack of responsible care, or the fixing
of any unauthorized attachment or subjecting the product to any but 240-volt power.
Complete the following proof of purchase information and retain your store receipt/ and
credit card receipt as proof of purchase, this will be required when claiming under
warranty.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS –retain and keep in a safe place.
1) Heed warnings and retain these instructions. The operating instructions should be adhered to.
2) This product contains a lithium ion battery which must not be disposed of in land fill. Dispose of in an
environmentally safe manner.
3) Do not remove the cage to access the electrified grid.
4) Do not modify paint or change the bug zapper in any way.
5) Do bit use this appliance near water (over pond, bath tubs, sinks or above swimming pools).
6) This appliance isn’t intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
7) Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
8) Do not use this appliance in locations where flammable vapour or explosive dust is likely to exist.
9) The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves and other
appliances that produce heat.
10) The appliance should be cleaned only as recommended in these instructions.
11) Do not submerge the main body of the Bug Zapper in water.
12) Do not place any object through any of the openings in the bug zapper.
13) The appliance should always be serviced by a qualified service technician.
14) Indoor or undercover use only. Not suitable for permanent outdoor installation.

Please read the manual carefully, failure to operate the Stinger Rechargeable bug zapper in
accordance with the instructions in this manual may cause damage to the unit. Your
portable/rechargeable Stinger (SRBZ4) uses safe ultraviolet and energy saving LED light and high
voltage electrified grid to effectively attract, capture and kill flying insects.
Charging the Stinger Rechargeable Bug Zapper
Although the zapper may come partially charged, it is recommended that the battery be fully charged
before the first use. Only use the ACDC recharger 8V AC-DC supplied with this product.
1) Turn the zapper into OFF position by pressing the orange ON/OFF button. This will stop the UV
light and grid from functioning.
2) Plug the adaptor into the charging port on the bug zapper and the plug into a 240V outlet.
3) The red “recharge” indicator light will illuminate when the product is on charge.
4) For best results, charge the bug zapper for 6-8 hours (full charge)
5) The bug zapper will not operate when connected to the charger. Remove adaptor before use.
Warning: for the purposes of recharging the battery, use only the detachable supply unit provided
with this appliance.
Operating the Stinger Rechargeable Bug Zapper
After a 6-8 hour charge, the Stinger Rechargeable UV globe and electrified grid will be operational
for up to 8 hours.
Remove the ACDC adaptor from the port at the front of the bug zapper and press the orange ON/OFF
switch to illuminate the UV light and power up the electrified grid.
The electrified grid of the bug zapper is now supplied with electricity and will zap insects attracted to
the grid by the UV LED globe
To increase the attracting capabilities of your zapper consider adding an insect lure available online
or from the original store of purchase.

Outdoor use: The Rechargeable bug zapper is not intended for permanent outdoor use. This product
is intended for use undercover, indoors or temporary use outdoors in clement weather.
Cleaning and maintenance: Cleaning the grid will extend the product life and promote more efficient
operation. Ensure the bug zapper is turned OFF, remove dead insets from the grid with a fine soft
paint brush or an air blower.
Be careful not to damage the grid or globe; clean weekly
Bug tray cleaning: Tray is located above the red charging light.
Turn the zapper off and remove the bug tray by sliding it straight out. Empty the contents and replace
by sliding it back into the zapper.
