capacity.Atankof approximately12”(305mm)in
diameterby18-1/2”(472mm)highisthemaximum
sizeLPgastanktouse.You mustuse an “OPD”gas
tankwhichoffersalistedOverfill PreventionDevice.
Thissafetyfeature preventstanksfrombeing
overfilledwhichcancause malfunctionoftheLPgas
tank,regulatorandgrill.
lTheLPgas tankmustbe constructedandmarked
inaccordancewiththe SpecificationsforLP-Gas
CylindersoftheU.S.Departmentof Transportation
(D.O.T.)ortheNationalStandardof Canada,
CAN/CSA-B339,Cylinders,Spheresand Tubesfor
TransportationofDangerousGoods;and
Commission, as applicable.
lTheLPgas tankmusthaveashutoff valve
terminatinginaLPgassupplytankvalveoutletthat
iscompatiblewithaType1tankconnection device.
TheLPgastankmustalsohaveasafetyreliefdevice
thathas adirectconnection withthe vaporspaceof
thetank.
lThetanksupplysystem musthaveameansfor
vaporwithdrawal.
lTheLPgas tankusedmusthave acollartoprotect
thetankvalve.
lNever connectanunregulated LPgas tanktoyour
gasgrill.Thegasregulatorassemblysupplied with
yourgas grill isadjusted tohave anoutletpressure of
11”watercolumn(W.C.)forconnectiontoanLPgas
tank.Onlyusethe regulatorand hose assembly
