Automatic ow Voltage Shutdown
In the event your vehicle’s battery is drawn down to
less than 10.7 Volts (DC), the green LED will not light,
and the inverter will automatically shut itself off. To reset
the inverter, remove it from the lighter’s socket. Before
plugging the inverter back into the socket, the vehicle’s
battery must be recharged to more than 10.7 volts, or the
inverter will shut itself off again.
Automatic Overheating Shutdown
In the event the inverter reaches temperatures in excess
of 150º F (65ºC), the green LED will not light, and the inverter
will automatically shut itself off. Wait for the inverter to
cool, then remove it from the lighter socket and allow it to
completely cool before plugging it back into the socket.
Automatic Overload Shutdown
In the event the product plugged into the inverter is
drawing more than 60 watts of power, the green LED will
not light, and the inverter will automatically shut itself off.
To reset the inverter, remove the AC product from the
inverter’s AC receptacle and wait for five seconds. Do not
connect the product drawing more than 60 watts back to
the inverter. During the overload event, the protective fuse
inside the inverter may have been blown. Replace the fuse,
using a 8 amp. slow blow fuse only, by unscrewing the nut
at the tip of the inverter, removing the old fuse, inserting the
new fuse, and reinstalling the nut until it is snug.
