Foot installation
Attach
thefeet(4 pcs.)
usingthefollowing
procedures.
1. Placethe radio so
thatthebottomisup.
2. Placeeachfoot on the bottom coverso that the holein
the
feetlineupwiththeholes
in
thebottomcover.
3. Inserta snap
fastenerintotheholeof each
foot.
(Make
surethe pinisnot insertedtoo far orthefastener
willnotgo inproperly.)

Rotating the control clockwise will turn ON the
receiver.
Advancing
the controlfurther clockwisewill increase
the volume.

TheSOLcontrolisusedto eliminate
noiseinthe FM-N
mode
duringno signal
periods.
Normally
thiscontrolis
adjusted
clockwise
untilthe noise
just disappears,
and
the BUSY
indicator
(SIGNALrr-r¡-ri-r ) goes
off.
This
pointiscommonly
knowasthe SquelchThreshold
point. Forscanoperat¡ons
this controlmust be set to
the threshold
point.Whenan incoming
signalis weak
or unstable,readjustthe SOL control for optimum
reception.
