Quick Start Guide

Thank you for purchasing CW450! This high cost-efficiency router is the
best choice for Small office / Home office users, all computers and network
devices can share 3G internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and also share a single
xDSL / cable modem internet connection at high speed. Easy install
procedures allows any computer users to setup a network environment in
very short time - within minutes, even inexperienced.

Before you starting to use this router, please check if there’s anything missing
in the package, and contact your dealer of purchase to claim for missing
items.

Rear Panel

Instruction of the ports on the rear panel:
Button/port
Description
LAN LAN Port. Connect LAN systems with RJ-45 cable.
WAN WAN Port. Connect DSL or Cable modem.
SIM Card SIM card port.
Power Turning on/off the router power.
Reset Reset configurations to default. Press the button and hold for
5 seconds.
DC(+9V) Power jack. Connect with AC power adapter.
Installation
Before router’s set-up, please correctly link according to following
steps. In order to achieve product’s wireless functions, please put
the router in the middle of covered area.
Note: The following setup all based on priority setting. You can also
connect to the router via wireless using the wireless client software
utility.

Setup using built-in 3 G module
1. Connect the power adapter to the power jack, then plug it into
the wall socket.
2. Insert a 3G SIM Card to the SIM card port, and then turn on the
router power.
3. Connect your computer to the router’s LAN port using an
Ethernet cable.
4. Check to make sure the router’s LAN LED is lit; to confirm the
cable connections are made correctly.
Setup using ADSL/Cable Modem
1. Connect the power adapter to the power jack, then plug it into
the wall socket.
2. Connect your ADSL/Cable Modem to the router’s WAN port
using an Ethernet cable.

3. Connect your computer to the router’s LAN port using an
Ethernet cable.
4. Check to make sure the router’s LAN and WAN LED is lit; to
confirm the cable connections are made correctly.
Connecting to the Internet
To Connect to the Internet via the Web User Interface:
1. Open your IE browser. Type http://192.168.0.1 in the address bar
and press enter. This opens the login authentication page.
2. Type your Username and Password. Your default Username and
Password is admin/admin.

3. After your successful login, you enter the CW450 router WEB
configuration interface.

4. Click "Internet Settings" - > "WAN" and enter into the WAN
setting page.
a) 3G Internet
For 3G Internet connection type, you are required to have
the following: ① build-in 3G Module ② Broadband data SIM
card.
Select “3G” Internet Connection type then set up the rest of
the parameters to continue.
USB 3G modem:Select the type of 3G USB Modem from the

drop-down list. The default is “Auto Detect”.
Connect Status :The current status of the 3G network
connection.
Boot-up dial mode:auto & manual.
Dial parameter:Default & User defined.
For 3G Internet Connection select ‘User defined’ then enter
Username, Password, Dial Number, APN and PIN Code provide by
your ISP.
Click the “Apply” button to save your setting.
b) ADSL/Cable Modem
For WAN Internet connection type, you are required to have the
following: ①.ADSL/Cable Modem; ②.Active Internet Service
Account
Select DHCP (Auto Config) for the WAN port. This setting
allows the Wireless-N Router to automatically obtain an IP
address from a DHCP server normally operated by the Internet
Service Provider (ISP).

Select STATIC (fixed IP) for the WAN port. Then fill the IP
address、subnet mask、default Gateway、primary DNS server and
secondary DNS server (you can get parameters from your ISP, and
you must enter and fill in at least one parameter)
Select PPPoE (ADSL) for the WAN port, you can configure the

following parameters to PPPoE dial up through a DSL modem.
5. Chick “Wireless Settings” --> “Basic” to the configure page.
Check Radio ON to activate your wireless connection and set
the SSID for your 3G Wireless-N Router. Click the Apply button
to save your setting.

6. Click "wireless network Settings" - > "Security", going into the
Wireless Security/Encryption setup page.

Select “Security Mode” to select desired type of encryption for
the router Wi-Fi and input encryption key and Click ‘Apply’. Click
the “Apply” button to save your setting.
