If multiple KHE switchers are linke in a setup, i.e. 3x ACS 8x4 an 2x AFX, you can arrange an stack the units
as you like. The wiring of the CTRL jacks gets aisy-chaine : Connect the CTRL OUT from the top unit to the
CTRL IN to the next unit. Repeat this wiring scheme for all units. The top unit gets assigne to MIDI channel #1.
The MIDI channel gets increase by +1 for each unit, following the wiring of the CTRL jacks. Every unit must
have an in ivi ual MIDI channel assigne (Don’t skip channel numbers). Make sure to pair the AFX to it’s
master-switcher.
The linke system can be remotely conrolle by a single MIDI footswitch. Connect MIDI controller to any of
the MIDI IN jacks of the units. Make sure the controller MIDI channel matches the channel setting of the KHE
unit it is connecte to. Use comman CC127 / Value 127 to toggle the master-fx-loop on or off. For AFX 8 with
serial number starting with B3 or lower, always connect the MIDI controller to the AFX MIDI IN jack.
